Now in order. We arrived from the airport in less than 2 hours. Settled not immediately, as the hotel is popular and there will rarely be empty seats. They didn't give us any money, so naturally they gave us a room near the road and the mosque. I heard that a room near the pool costs $ 50, although all the rooms are the same, I don’t understand what the meaning of the surcharge is. The rooms are cozy and compact with comfortable beds. There is only water in the refrigerator. The territory is beautiful well-groomed, everything is thought out and the location of restaurants, bars and pool. The beach is the most important thing for you to pay attention to this hotel. 3 beaches, gentle entry into the sea, there is a pier from which you can jump. In October, the sea temperature is very comfortable. The beach, as well as the room, is not clean enough, there were cigarette butts and garbage, they clean it badly. Sunbeds naturally need to be occupied.
And now for the biggest disappointment. We arrived on October 10, the grill worked in the restaurant, they gave baked turkey, tuna, kebab and various goodies. For breakfast, you could treat yourself to delicious cheeses and sweets. At 16:00 they gave ice cream, in packages of very good quality. The bar had both martinis and malibu. On October 12, the carriage turned into a pumpkin. Ice cream was not given, even the refrigerator was taken away, the grill was turned off. They fried mackerel, and some gravy with chicken mixed with vegetables. Since the hotel was completely full, the queues for meat became huge. The hotel management did not take any action to improve the situation. There were no processed cheeses, martinis disappeared, and so on, the list is very long.
People read reviews go to the hotel, pay decent money in anticipation of the service they expect throughout the rest, and not 2 days. Therefore, be careful to know that the hotel charges the full cost for a tour in October, but at the same time, many services will not be available to you in this particular hotel. I talked on the bus with other tourists from another hotel, they said that they did not notice any changes during the entire vacation period. This hotel has an unfair policy towards tourists.
Although we have traveled quite a lot before, but this is our first experience with a tour operator, the first all-inclusive experience, and the first time in Turkey.
In my opinion, the hotel deserves 9 out of 10, and definitely worth the money. True, we took peak dates - the last week of August - so we overpaid a little, but we don’t regret it at all. This is a super option for families with children, especially if you want to get away from the bustle of the city. For 7 days we have never left the territory - there was neither desire nor necessity.
Rooms: the rooms are a little "tired", of course, they did not stand next to the urban European 5 *. By numbers rather 4 *. Most of the rooms are located in small three-story buildings, I can’t say for sure how many of them there are on the territory, in my opinion, more than two dozen. In general, cosmetic repairs would not hurt them.
Although everything that should work - plumbing, mini-bar, TV, air conditioning - works quite well. Plumbing is generally ok, against the backdrop of rachitic plumbing, plumbing and sewerage in most domestic resort hotels, it seems that here it works like a Swiss watch. We had a shower without a bathtub, but I think it is not needed in a beach hotel. True, there is no wi-fi in the rooms, but in Turkey and in hotels of this price category, as far as I understand, this is more of a norm than an exception to the rule. There is only water in the minibar, but it's ok for us - everything else can be drunk at the bar. We only slept in the room and took a shower, so the mini-bar and the design of the room did not bother us much. Mattresses are good and firm. Bed and towels changed every 2-3 days. We came across a room with a small balcony, but uncritically, we used it only for drying swimsuits.
The electricity turns off if you remove the key card from the cardholder in the room, but this nuance can always be bypassed)))
Territory: this is a big and bold plus of this hotel - green, well-groomed, large. On the territory of only their guests and staff, the same applies to the beaches. A large modern playground (though some "kids", especially from the CIS countries, are doing their best to break everything that can be broken). There are places to walk in the evening, plus paths to the reef and along the reef itself, with platforms where you can admire the moon in the evening, listen to the sound of the waves, and watch flocks of fish and crabs during the day (although the reef itself is dead, as someone wrote in a previous review) . Lots of trees, bushes, flowers, even pomegranates and citrus fruits. Palm trees and some pleasantly smelling coniferous trees grow by the sea. Beneath them are sun loungers, so you can combine sunbathing with aromatherapy.
The sea and beaches: the sea is another big and fat plus - warm, clean, the water is clear, there were no algae or jellyfish during our stay. Three beaches, for every taste - large sandy, with a gentle slope, suitable for families with kids + a pier equipped even with a shower; more rocky beach, smaller than the first, mostly adults without children; quite rocky, not even a beach, but just a coast, with a pier, and sun loungers are located on a concrete terrace above this coast. And closer to the reef there is a small, almost isolated from the sea, bay, also with sunbeds and a path to it, a maximum of half a meter deep, free from stones, with super-warm water, where you can splash around with babies at all. People are moderate on any of the beaches, since, I repeat, only their guests are on the territory. Sunbeds, umbrellas, beach towels - all for free. They offer standard marine entertainment - ride a banana, scooters, sapboards.
To my surprise, there is no diving service, despite the fact that the sea is fantastically clear, warm, and the rocky bottom 30-40 meters from the shore is very interesting to explore.
Meals: It seems to me that a huge plus is that guests can put food on their own plates, wearing disposable gloves. Therefore, there are no queues. The choice is good. For lunch and dinner, there is always at least one type of grilled fish, or even 2-3 - mackerel, river trout, sea bream, sea bass. At least two types of meat - lamb, chicken, veal, both grilled and stewed-boiled, etc. During our stay, there were oysters, mussels, crabs and crayfish, lamb, veal, tuna, red fish. They cook in such a way that everyone gets everything, by the end of dinner, part of the cooked food always remains unclaimed. Fruits are always available - melon, watermelon, 2-3 kinds of grapes, apples, peaches, pears. Large selection of desserts, 4-5 varieties of baklava. There are also many types of salads for lunch and dinner, for every taste.
Soups are usually of two types, one is not spicy. There is also a diet line with steam vegetables and boiled chicken, there is something to feed a child of 2-3 years old. Small queues only for alcohol at bars, and then only at the peak time of the day. Local beer Ephesus - quite ok. The rest of the alcohol is best consumed in the form of cocktails. I tried clean only local whiskey with ice, it feels like 25 degrees in it, no more - perhaps diluted. It is easy to drink, but it is better with cola. Coffee and juices from vending machines - instant bullshit, but you can drink, brewed Turkish tea in teapots is very good. From 10 am, Turkish coffee is prepared at the coffee bar, so it seems to be nothing like that.
In a la carte for a free visit (for stays of 5 days) write down near the reception. The quality of cooking is the same as in the main restaurant, but taking into account the individual serving.
With free admission, you indicate your food preferences when you sign up, there is no choice of dishes during the dinner itself.
Personally for me food is also a big plus of this hotel.
Staff: also attributed to the pluses of the hotel. All very polite, basic words-phrases in Russian, almost all employees know, if it is difficult with Russian, you can easily explain yourself in English. Everyone works very smartly, cheerful, friendly. A little annoying masseur with constant offers of massage, but you can freeze. The guide from Coral assured us that in hotels they rarely do a normal massage, so we didn’t sign up.
Animation: there is a certain program for every day, including during the daytime (but we always skipped it because of the child's daytime sleep). In the evening, until 9 o'clock, more children are entertained, after 9 to 11 pm - more adults. Large amphitheater and stage.
During the day there were foam parties, volleyball, competitions by the pool, etc.
Pool/slides: I personally found the pool huge. There is a gentle entrance. Clean enough, the water does not smell like bleach. Sunbeds in the morning are easier to take on the beach than by the pool, although there are many of them here and there. We preferred the sea. The pool has three slides, on the blue one there is a rather weak stream of water - the children are still OK, but the average adult gets stuck in the middle, you have to push off with your feet. The rest of the slides are normal. There is also a paddling pool 30-40 cm deep, with a small slide. After lunch, the water temperature in it resembles a jacuzzi, but the kids are happy to splash around there.
Wi-fi: available in all public areas - bars, restaurants, reception, playground - but rather weak. The maximum output was 1 Mbps. Enough for messengers and mail. There is no wifi in the rooms.
Guests: international contingent, plus many locals.
Germans, Poles, Dutch, Ukrainians, Russians, Turks, there are people from different Muslim countries. Since the rest here is mostly family, people are generally calm and adequate.
Near the peninsula on which the hotel is located, there is a highway, but the noise from it is almost inaudible, since the reception and administrative buildings of the hotel are very practical along it, they serve as a sound shield. There is also a minaret, from which the muezzin's calls to prayer sound from time to time over the loudspeaker, but this can only interfere with people with super-sensitive sleep. And so on the contrary, a highlight, so to speak.
As a result, I definitely recommend the hotel, if possible I would return here again.
We slept for 2 nights - it's good that it's not hot. Here is the end of the 3rd day - we have a lot of ants. Parroted came washed the floor. We said we can change the nomar - well, I think it makes sense to go from one ant to another : ) races all the family room on the lower floors.
The food is complete and delicious pool super. I didn't like the beach. The hotel itself is very interesting, just like a small town or village. . .
There are vosnomnom Turks Ukrainians and regiments. There is no Russian at all and no one from Europe.
Tourists go to dinner in vishorts in T-shirts without a bra or in the same as on the beach - sooo not cool - and although there is 5 *, no one has a dress code for dinner as in other 5 * hotels.
I would not have come to court.
There have been much better places. Or maybe it's because of the quarantine. There are empty hotels around - if you saw them along the highway, but here it is full and Orange County eats tourists. Meryan, Delta, Cleopatra - and others along the route along this bend are empty.
The kids still like it well, they already said that other places where we were more beautiful.
Disadvantages:
1. Near the mosque, at 5:40 in the morning the Muslim will wake up with a prayer through a super loudspeaker.
2. Near the road, in buildings that are not deep in the territory, there is constant noise.
3. Previous commenters wrote, I strongly plus: the chef does not know how to cook eggplant, this is the middle of the season in Turkey! It turns out some kind of indistinct slurry, such as stewed in bitter, musty tomato paste. Pasta is undercooked, you chew like rubber, potatoes are unbaked in large chunks, it is impossible to eat. Pies, only breading is fried, the dough itself is raw.
But everything is blocked by the sea, the hotel is far from the others, there is no constant flickering of any parachutes, bananas, etc. , a maximum of 1-2 per day. I kept swimming far out to sea, enjoyment.
Were the food lines minimal if they were created? then 1-3 minutes maximum.
Is it much better? than we went before, 3-4 types of meat, 2 types of fish every day, plus a lot of other and tasty things, if it weren’t for the sea and the slides that you need to climb, we would put on a lot of weight))))
Of the minuses: the restaurant did not work, they were not allowed into the game rooms, but we knew all this, since the virus.
Sanitizers were around, temperature was measured upon arrival, suitcases were processed, toilets in general, everything was done without contact, interchangeable linings)))
P. S. I don’t understand the reviews of people who cry about the queues, everyone was warned about it, especially since spending 1-3 minutes is garbage, but the fact that people cannot keep a distance of 1-2 meters is not a hotel problem, sunbeds can always be moved away and the place is allows you to do, I’m generally silent about measuring temperature, what do you want to measure the temperature at a new location every time? Or wear masks? If you are afraid of getting infected or queues - STAY HOME and do not write heresy about the fact that the temperature is not measured or there are queues, a long queue - come in 5-10 minutes and it will not be there, at least it was like that with us. The rest was super, we recommend the hotel to all our friends, we will return in 5-10 years.
The number is normal. Everything is clean, neat, everything works. To the beaches - 150 meters. Cleaning and change of towels - every day. Air conditioning not well thought out. No matter how you set it up, all three beds are icy cold. And this is in 40-degree heat outside. For a cold - the most what you need.
The hotel has three beaches: rocky (a la Cyprus), small pebble and sandy. The last two have a good entry into the sea. The big plus of the hotel is the sea. As for us, this is the best sea we have ever been to. A small bay within a large bay. As a result - always complete calm. At a water temperature of 29 degrees, you can swim in the sea for hours. The sea is not deep. The first 70 meters depth is not more than 1.8 meters. Further - deeper, did not get the bottom.
The territory is clean, well-groomed, but with a rather slippery surface. Everywhere there are signs "Slippery". It's not hard to fall. The pool is excellent. A little less than the Egyptian ones.
The first three days felt like being in paradise. The beaches are free, the pool is free, the restaurant is free. Then came, obviously, not "universities". Golden chains, screams, mats. In short, we immediately felt ourselves not in Turkey, but at home. And it turned out that, even with a 50% occupancy of the hotel, there are hardly enough places on the beaches, by the pool and in the restaurant. With a quarantine norm of social distance of 1.5 meters, the real one is less than 0.5 meters. Everyone and everywhere without masks, in the restaurant - head to head. It's like there's no quarantine.
The food is excellent. The staff is acting a little strange. Everyone is responsible for their own, narrowly focused part of the work. As an example, the janitor on the beach cleans up the garbage and all week passes by the plates left by vacationers at the trash cans.
There is no infrastructure. Because the hotel is located on a peninsula, then on three sides the sea, and on the fourth - the highway. The nearest shops, such as general store, 1 km. along the highway. Only Turkish is understood in shops. Communication - gestures.
