I rested with a child in October 2010. And to be honest, I was delighted with the trip, although, as usual, there were some nuances. But first things first. We flew with Onlytour, chose them on the recommendation - my friends said that they specialize specifically in Turkey, so the service is debugged with a bang. Indeed, very nice girls met us at the airport, put us in a minibus and off we went…. We drove for a long time, 1.5 - 2 hours. The hotel is located at a decent distance from the airport, and, despite the fact that the guide was talking all the time, and there was a lot of interesting things outside the window, we dozed off - since the flight was at night, plus - the time difference. We arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock local time - we were quickly issued, but they warned that they could only check in at 2. We wanted to be upset, but we were kindly offered to leave our luggage in the office and look around the hotel, and at the same time have lunch.
The hotel really impressed with its size, and its content compensated for the almost complete lack of "green" territory.

Pleased immediately:

1. The hotel is new, everything is shiny
2. Swimming pools, in the amount of 3 pieces, one of which has 3 slides (quite a decent mini-water park for both children and adults)
3. Very spacious hall + dining terrace
4. Friendly staff
5. A huge selection of food (vegetables, fruits, sweets, several types of meat) - in general, for every taste
After dinner, we were settled in a room - spacious, clean, and due to the low season - with a sea view for free.

The next day there was a meeting with the guides of Onlytour - who told about all the possibilities in the hotel included in the tour, and there were many of them (sauna, hammam, gym, tennis, all kinds of animation - all day, bars and restaurants), as well as about excursions.
Since we were relaxing together with our son (6 years old), the following excursions were chosen - a full-day trip on a yacht, with sightseeing in Alanya, swimming in the open sea and visiting caves, as well as a full-day visit to Troy Water Park. By the way, there were a lot of interesting excursions, but for 7 days with a small child, we simply could not physically see everything. Yes, and they came, to be honest, more to wallow on the beach.

And now about the nuances:

Despite the fact that there were practically no Russian tourists in the hotel - the main contingent of Germans - those few that were, managed to be constantly dissatisfied with everything - which spoiled the rest a little. There were constant rumors that the efficient Turkish staff prefers the Germans, booking them the best tables on the veranda for dinner, it’s better to clean their rooms “and more”. Dear compatriots - do not be stingy and everything will be just fine.

A $10 tip to the waiter on the first day and another $5 on the 4th turned our stay into a fairy tale about a magical gin that appeared out of nowhere at the wave of…I don’t even know what…. As soon as the ice in a glass of wine melted, while I was sunbathing by the pool, a new, fresh glass miraculously appeared next to me ...the child was brought food and ice cream directly to the sunbed, even without asking. And for dinner, a table was always waiting for us on the veranda overlooking the sea, already served. And despite the fact that the buffet table suggests self-service, the staff, having noticed that we usually eat and drink on the 2nd-3rd day, already brought it all to the table as soon as we appeared. The same should be done (I'm talking about tips) with regard to cleaning the room ...if you want swans made of sheets to flaunt on your bed every day - leave a dollar on the nightstand.
The psychology of our compatriots is as follows - I paid for the tour and I won’t spend a penny more ...But, firstly, this is not such a huge amount of money, and secondly, these are good manners ....Save, or enjoy the "increased" attention from the staff and enjoy your vacation - the choice is yours.

Now about excursions - a walk on a yacht - 5+. The food and drinks are excellent, the animation did not stop for a minute ...those who did not want to have fun were given the opportunity to sunbathe on the deck, examining the beauties of the coast ...And of course, the son was completely delighted with jumping directly from the ship into the sea, in which below us huge sea turtles swam and now and then flying fish jumped out of the water.

Water park - perhaps I don’t recommend ...we were disappointed ...almost all the slides were for children from 10 years old ...that is, they didn’t shine for us ....
and what was childish was a paddling pool with tiny slides for tourists of 3-4 years old ...in general, we didn’t get into the format and wedgedly waited for 4 in the evening when we were taken to the hotel, “to our cool slides”

A little about the beach - it's a narrow strip of sand, with a small amount of pebbles, and another pier, in the form of the trident of Poseidon, but there was enough space for everyone. I have never noticed a lack of sun loungers, and it is also worth noting the cleanliness. And its main advantage is equal to 3 minutes from the cafe on foot ....just simply had to cross the area with the pools, and immediately after it the sea began.

The day of departure was overshadowed by the postponement of the flight for 4 hours and the behavior, again, of our ...Russians. Everyone learned about the flight delay already on the way to the airport, on the bus. The guides did their best to brighten up the wait - they brought us to various souvenir shops. And when it turned out that it was for a long time - absolutely free of charge, they took me to a restaurant at the expense of the company.
But the public was dissatisfied with everything ....and the restaurant is bad, and there is nothing to eat here, and constantly like an obsession “we are treated like cattle” ...But what do you need? I was simply indignant, from such human ingratitude ...And what about Onlytour? If the flight is delayed ...The guys, I think, did everything they could. . and even a little more...

But in general - a rest for 5+ ...Transparent clean sea, excellent service, excellent food and a very good bar - all kinds of cocktails and drinks of very good quality ...well, there’s nothing to complain about ...and dissatisfied ones are always everywhere. Apparently people are just like that.
