+ Normally fed
+ Nice beach
+ Good location of the hotel itself. It is washed by the sea from three sides, the sea is visible from all windows.
Minuses:
- No matter what number you pay for, you will live where it is free. And no one will compensate you for it. We lived for two nights in the fourth with two children in the standard, although we paid for a two-room Family. Nobody was going to change anything, only when the disassembly began at the level of the tour operator, then they relocated.
- Room cleaning is just a wet floor. Everything. For soap and toilet paper - run yourself.
- Restaurants just have food. This is not 5 stars. Cooking is not bad, but it's just a canteen. Well, you know, to the Germans with love, the rest are second-class. And no, it's not about the tip. It’s just that the Germans swear loudly and sue everyone from the start.
- The rooms are noisy! One hundred percent of the rooms overlook the restaurant hoods. If not yours, then someone else's. Rooms on the 3rd, 4th floor - like a vacuum cleaner working in the next room. The rest of the floors - a vacuum cleaner in your room. If you want silence - choose another hotel. There is no silence here.
- Coffee houses are a mockery. There are no declared confectioneries at all. If you do not meet the canteen schedule, there is nowhere to feed the child. Go to the market. This is not ultra all in, if that. This type is called full board. But it costs like ultra ol in. That is, you do not relax. Everyone looks at the clock and whistles at the line, where some waiters have already reserved tables for the Germans... A trash quest for your not small money.
- Territory. She is big and can not be called well-groomed. Not legal, not cool.
- There are always not enough sun loungers, it is not realistic to find an employee who will solve this.
As a result, the whole "rest" you decide something at the expense of nerves. I do not recommend the hotel.
On the 4th day, some kind of rash appeared behind the knees, similar to an allergy, and the child smelled it to the point of blood. We turned to the pharmacy, they said that most likely through mosquito bites, the child smelled a wound for herself and dermatitis began with an allergic reaction. They prescribed ointments and anti-allergic for several days, if it doesn’t go away, then stronger ones will be prescribed. On the 6th day, the child was heavily covered with a rash, they again went to the doctor, as everything looked like chickenpox, they examined it, it was not chickenpox, they prescribed an ointment with antibiotics. And only on the 8th day, while scouring Google (thanks to Google), looking at photos with similar wounds, we stumbled upon bedbug bites, and everything became clear !!!
The response from the hotel was amazing. The manager Ibrahim, a cunning hypocrite and a liar, even after together with the receptionist and the maid (of course not Russian speakers) examined the bed with traces of bedbugs, quickly removed it and changed it to a new one, said that there was nothing there, they had no bedbugs and that it's not their problem that the child was hurt. In a sharp form, he suggested to himself to call a doctor or turn to a tour operator, ATTENTION, since the hotel is not to blame for anything !!! ! And of course, as it turned out after contacting the tour operator, Ibrahim clearly knew that insect bites (including bedbugs) do not fall under the insured event, it is difficult to prove them, since you have to take tests in the hospital and spend several days on it.
Of course, after understanding the situation, we finally “exhaled”. The next day, the child felt much better, and at least 4 days it turned out to be somehow like a rest.
Of course, it is worth noting the pluses of the hotel, although the situation that the bugs “ate” the child for 8 days will not change the overall score and our opinion. Still, from the pros: a very good kids club and animator Karolina, who sincerely loves children and her work, cool, professional bartenders, a bitten kitchen, well done chefs, someone is always on the hall and monitors the distribution. Also good wind-sheltered beaches and hotel infrastructure.
In general, it is contrasting and strange that, on the one hand, all the staff are trying to make tourists like everything, and on the other hand, such an indifferent and unprofessional work of hotel managers, in particular Ibrahim. I sincerely hope that the owner will get involved in solving the problem with bedbugs in time and will not let the hotel with such potential and at the moment a high rating be polluted.
We, unfortunately, do not set foot here, and we do not recommend it to anyone with small children, but for those who have already taken a tour to Gold Island, carefully check your beds, and especially children's folding beds.
I want to express my gratitude to Albert from Anex for organizing excursions, to the Turkish guys at the front desk for solving all domestic issues, to the bartenders for an extraordinary approach to their work and to all the staff for an unforgettable vacation!
There are a lot of shopping malls near the hotel, you don't have to go anywhere for souvenirs.
They lived in bungalows, silence and whispering waves.
Service at a height. Anti-epidemiological measures are also at a decent level.
The kitchen also did not disappoint. Animation, fitness center.
Everything is clean, enough staff.
Definitely recommend and come back myself, a wonderful holiday!
We arrived at 9:00. Upon arrival, we were immediately offered breakfast. After breakfast we settled in a bungalow near the sea. Nobody demanded money for an early settlement, although we had a settlement from 14-00.
Location:
The hotel is located on the edge of a small peninsula. On the one hand, it goes out to the sea, on the other hand, to the bay of the bay. The territory is large, well-groomed. There are two buildings on the territory (A and B) and a row of bungalows along the sea, a pool near each building, a bar near each pool. Each bungalow has a small lawn with sun loungers at the entrance. A fairly large grove of some trees grows between the buildings, but there is no entrance there. Near building A, next to the pool there is a garden where a children's mini-club, a gym, a playground and a trampoline are located.
Rooms:
They lived in a bungalow. The room is spacious. The room has a wardrobe, a double bed, an additional single bed, a mini-bar, a table, an armchair, a mirror, air conditioning, a safe for a child. In front of each bungalow there is a small lawn with a couple of chairs and a table, and a couple of sun loungers. It is separated from neighboring bungalows by a hedge of flowers, bushes, etc. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer. In the first bungalow where we were settled, the air conditioner did not work - when it could not be repaired, we were moved to another bungalow without any problems. They helped move all the things, moved the baby bed - it all took less than an hour. In the second bungalow, all the equipment worked, everything was in order. The maids clean every day and clean well - the bed was changed regularly, towels were changed every day. All linen and towels are in adequate condition - clean, white, completely new and not washed. Every day a large bottle of water is placed in the mini-bar, once (at check-in) the mini-bar is filled with soft drinks (Cola, Fanta, etc. ).
Restaurant, food:
Each building has its own restaurant, but during our stay the restaurant in block B did not work due to restrictions on the number of tourists in the hotel - so we went to the restaurant in block A.
The food is delicious, varied, you can always take something to your liking. Everything that is cooked in the restaurant is listed for a very long time, I will say in general:
always a large selection of meat (fried, stewed, grilled), cheeses, salads, side dishes, fish, fruits (melons, watermelons, peaches, nectarines, apples, grapes), delicious desserts and cakes (probably didn’t even have time to try everything), pancakes. For lunch and dinner there is always some kind of soup, every day is different. During the day at the pool bar - ice cream.
Drinks: In the restaurant and pool bar, coffee is poured from a machine, but quite good. In the lobby bar you can also drink Turkish coffee with a cake. Various teas. In the bar you can always take water, soda, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, peanuts. Cocktails are very tasty, quite diverse, you can choose from the menu, or you can order from the ingredients to your taste. Ephesus beer is light and refreshing in the heat.
In general, the food was very pleasant, including the child. Ate with pleasure.
Beach:
First line. Since the hotel is located on a peninsula, there are three private beaches - one directly into the sea and two in the bay. On the beaches there are umbrellas, sun loungers and mattresses.
The main beach is in the bay: the beach is sandy, the entrance is gentle, the bottom is sandy, there is a pontoon in the sea. Since the beach is located in a bay, the sea is always calm behind the breakwater. Ideal for small children and people who are not good swimmers. Near the beach there is a water park with three slides. There were never any problems with free sun loungers, but I repeat, there was a limit on the number of tourists and the hotel was not completely filled.
The second beach in the bay is the same as the main one, only smaller. We never got to it.
The third beach goes out to sea. The beach is sandy, but stones immediately begin in the water, so aquashoes are needed there. There may be waves. On the beach are umbrellas, sun loungers and mattresses. The beach is located near block B. Since this building was practically uninhabited, the beach was always free. Near the beach there is a pier for walking, but there is no entrance to the water from it. Also near the beach is a water park with slides.
Beach towels were issued near the main pool on the security of cards that were issued upon check-in. There were always enough towels for everyone.
Animation:
The hotel has a great animation team.
There was a mini-club for children. There were various activities both in the mini-club itself and in the fresh air. Of the interesting, I remember the competition for the best sand castle, there was a pirate quest to find treasures throughout the hotel, culinary (pizza was cooked). Evening children's disco.
For adults - darts, water aerobics in the pool, volleyball, table tennis, yoga. Every evening there was some interesting show program: there were several concerts, acrobats, a dance show. Every evening something new.
We went on a sightseeing tour of Alanya - an interesting tour, but very rich - we drove to a height of 800 m above the sea, were at a wine tasting, had lunch in a gorge between mountains on a river, descended into a cave in the mountains, in Alanya itself were in a fortress and swam in sea on a pirate ship around the fortress and back.
We were very pleased with the rest - an excellent hotel, pleasant and helpful staff, delicious food, a very beautiful place, a wonderful team of animators. I can safely recommend the hotel for families with children.
Animation has become much more interesting, all animators speak Russian. Both young people and adults and children are entertained from morning until late in the evening. There are also quiet types of activities: yoga, bocha and others, there are also very active activities. No one will be bored for sure. There are daily programs for children, such as making cookies, pizza, a drawing contest, crafts. Etc.
Meals all day long. Everything is delicious and everything is fresh everywhere. Throughout the territory there are fruits, sweets, water, cakes at certain hours. In the main restaurant, several types of fish and meat are required every day. Vegetables in any form, fruits in abundance. I posted everything on Instagram with the hashtag of the hotel, see for yourself.
I recommend the hotel to everyone, except for the very "party" youth. Although, if you know how to entertain yourself, no one will be bored here.
We lived in bungalows along the sea. The rooms are very damp, no ventilation. Everything in the room is constantly damp. This causes plaster to crumble on the walls. Smells from the sewer at times. The dishes in the restaurant are very badly washed. When checking in, they try to cheat with numbers. They asked for a potty or a toilet seat (we have two small children) - they said, go to the market. The Internet is rather weak, it takes far from everywhere in the territory.
A big plus of the hotel is the beach - it is located in the bay, the storm is not terrible, fine sand and shallow sea.
We lived in a round building A, (the second floor in fact, but according to the numbering of the hotel the first one).
Pros (I’ll say in advance - the cons prevail many times):
The room is spacious, constant change of linen, air conditioning is working properly, the bed is soft, replenished with soap / shampoo / conditioner / lotion, mini-bar with cola, fanta, water, beer. There are slippers.
Minuses:
- Bathrobes are not provided
- upon arrival, the blinds on the transparent wall in the shower were broken in the room - that is, if you swim or are in the bathroom. node - everything is visible from the room. There is a glass wall between the shower and the room.
- the handle of the door to the toilet was broken, if you slam the door from the inside - you are a prisoner until they open it from the outside. We asked the administration to solve the issue - the problem was recorded and the implementation was ignored.
- outside the window there was a constant noise (presumably) from the hood of the hotel building, the rumble is heard both day and night, but tolerable.
And now about the good: The hotel is very beautiful and cozy!
Diverse food: fish, chicken, turkey, lamb, beef; ! Very tasty barbecue! Special thanks to the workers for this! There were various vegetables, salads and fruits, many local cheeses, boiled sausages, legumes, pancakes for breakfast and a variety of egg dishes, buns, croissants, tortillas, soups, pasta, potatoes, rice, etc. Alcohol, juices, teas and coffee in the range, both locally produced and imported. Separately, baby food in glass jars - puree. Various cereals, yoghurts and milk.
The hotel has a clean swimming pool, 2 beaches, a pier, 2 swimming pools with slides, a lot of sun loungers (closer to June 15, we stopped having them : ), people have increased). The animation is unobtrusive, interesting, every evening there are concerts in the amphitheater, 1 time there was a foam party, several times live music on the site on the shore.
There is a restaurant by the pool, a bar, open at lunchtime, an ice cream free-fridge, a nice woman preparing local cakes with various fillings. The workers are great, they are all very nice people! There is a free hammam, gym, indoor pool.
It was comfortable, cozy, I want to return to this place again and again...
Definitely recommend!
A little in the end - bought for $ 55 per person. a tour of Alanya from anextur, they specifically specified that without a trip to the shopping center, the other, with the shopping center, was for $ 35, and we wanted to see the city and sights more, in the end, you yourself understand, it couldn’t have done without “salt”, we were “cheated” ", shopped)
