Hotel surroundings?
Tell me, are there places outside the hotel gates where you can take evening walks (such as streets with shops, etc.) in the event that you get tired of walking around the territory?

you are unlikely to get tired of walking around the hotel, there is a huge territory and there is something to do, we didn’t have enough days
there are banana plantations and mountains in the vicinity, there are no shops, but from the shops that are located on the territory of the hotel you can order tours to shopping centers.

That is, there is no infrastructure as such? Is it far from the nearest settlement? And how to get there? The fact is that you want not only to lie on the beach all day, but to see and take pictures of the local color ...

Get on the minibus, stop opposite Utopia and after 25 minutes you are in Alanya or after 10 in Mahmutlar. In my opinion, Alanya is more interesting.
аватар tanya-tor
last year the fare was like 2.5 dollars
you can go on excursions

Thanks for answers!
I choose between Utopia and Pine bay in Kusadasi. It seems to be similar, both in terms of price, and the water park, and nature.

I can't say anything about Pine bay, I haven't been there. I have been to Utopia 2 times, so I recommend it. Just immediately take into account the fact that it is located on a mountain, the territory is large, there are many stair lifts and descents.
аватар tanya-tor
Well, I don’t know, judging by the photos and reviews, Pine bay didn’t impress me at all, but in general it’s up to you

Outside the territory, if you don’t go anywhere, then there’s nowhere to go for a walk ... Of course, you can go down on foot along the road from the mountain and go to the highway, on one side of which there are beaches, and on the other hotels, but you still have to walk decently to the nearest hotel, yes and there's not much to see. In two weeks we went 5 or 6 times in the evenings to Alanya, the final minibus is right at the gates of the hotel, the road is interesting (not through the desert, but along the hotels), and in Alanya, of course, you can already roam - a very beautiful cozy well-groomed town.

Yes, I like everything in Utopia. Reviews about boredom in the hotel and dampness in the bungalow are annoying, but I wanted a bungalow ...
Pine bay was advised on the forum, and TEZ has nothing like a description, and they are almost rated as Utopia.
They also recommend Queens Park Goynyk; Green beach Rz;
Olympians hotels Rz;
BUT HOW CAN YOU CHOOSE WHEN THE REVIEWS ARE CONFLICTIVE AND DIFFERENT NATURAL CONDITIONS!
I want, you know, everything at once.
Can you advise?

Dampness will be in those bungalows that are on the 1st floor, i.e. almost in the basement. If it is a villa, then you should definitely try to squeeze into the upper floors (3 or even better 4), it will not be damp there. Unfortunately, it is impossible to book a specific villa and a specific floor in advance, this issue will have to be resolved at the reception already upon arrival.

We were on the May holidays. They lived in a bungalow. It was chilly at night, but the blankets were very warm. But during the day the bungalow is gorgeous. Not even in the room itself, but on the balcony, you go out - and there is no heat around the pines. So nice! And the hotel is really boring, if you are traveling with a girl and like to take a walk, then it is better to choose a hotel closer to the village, and even better in the town itself.

But in general, we really liked the hotel, not for nothing that half of the tourists there are Europeans. Water park and several pools. But if you prefer the sea instead of the pool, then the beach there, to put it mildly, is not very good. Unpleasant stones at the entrance, cobblestones and small prickly pebbles. I liked the beach in Kemer more!
аватар Natali11131
It may be wild for someone, but I’m torn at the sea as such. I’m not a swimmer at all, even in the pool. Therefore, the reviews about the entrance do not upset me. floors of villas. Imagine these frustrations, taking into account the fact that since October it has already been going to Utopia ...

how long are you planning to travel? we were a week and we were not at all bored, of course, if for 2-3 weeks we might get bored, but we found something to do for these 7 days))) At the reception they gave a present and we were settled in villa 26, it is one of the closest to the building overlooking the sea, the views are just awesome, although we practically didn’t sit in the room))) we only spent the night)))) if you get tired of frying on the beach, you can go to Alanya on your own, there is something to see))) and you can buy good things ))) we got on sale))) very profitable and the quality is good, the main thing is to bargain.
In general, how do you set yourself up, if you plan to be bored, then everything will not be the same for you in the most cheerful hotel.
When I looked at the photo of the hotel, I immediately fell in love with it, and the rest met my expectations. In terms of price-quality ratio, it is very difficult to find something like this. Now we are considering other options for recreation, but after Utopia everything is somehow not right)))
And the rest is up to you, weigh all the pros and cons, this is your vacation!
If you have questions ask
we stayed in october 2011

I fully subscribe to all your theses of Utopia! But since we never lie on the beach all day, because it is unhealthy, and idleness bothers us, usually after dinner we develop a craving "where to go, something to see" .Of course, excursions, but 1-3 days. Of course, Antalya is also well, 3 times, but this is by car. We are going for 15 nights.
аватар tanya-tor
I agree, for 15 nights it can be boring)))
we choose ourselves, we don’t know where to go .... it seems that I really liked it in Utopia, but we’ve already been, I want something new, but I don’t want to get into worse conditions, here, of course, a huge territory captivates, because a hotel with one pool and one a restaurant is generally tough))) choose, decide, maybe write in a personal what other hotels you are considering, maybe I'll tell you something, maybe you can offer me an interesting option)))
аватар Natali11131
Thank you. When there are a lot of hotels, it's a total headache!
аватар tanya-tor
this is true)))

And last summer we rested in Belek in Limak Atlantic5 *, the hotel is super in every respect, after Limak it’s scary to go anywhere, but the price for a family of 4 with all discounts is 180 thousand, we count on 150 maximum. Friends recommend Utopia, photos and reviews are captivating, the disadvantages are the road and the rocky bottom, but for us, since we always rested only in Belek, it will be interesting to change the situation. We are waiting for prices
