Who has been to Cleopatra Beach? Where can you go on excursions?
Tell me, did anyone go to Cleopatra Beach? What did you think of it? Is this a separate tour, or can you go there yourself? I also heard that there is a Byzantine fortress in Alanya. How can you get there and is it worth it? And in general, where can you go on excursions from Utopia, but so that the road does not take much time?

We went to Cleopatra Beach along with a visit to the Damlatash cave (stalactites and stalagmites), also the Selrdzhuk fortress and the Red Tower of the 13th century. Here is what is included in the tour of Alanya. The beach is nothing special. The cave is interesting, it is for people with asthma - people are treated there. The fortress is also beautiful - it offers a beautiful view of the bay.

You can also go to Cleopatra Beach on a regular bus yourself. The beach is located at the entrance to Alanya and is located in front of the fortress. There is very good white crystalline sand, brought from Egypt, a good entry into the sea. That's all "attractions". I advise the tour rafting, not as scary as the photo, and a lot of fun. The road takes an average of 1.5 hours one way, climbing into the mountains (depending on how many hotels "collect" along the way). I also liked the Turkish night, we went to the caravanserai for the village. Mahmutlar. National flavor, a good buffet, wine, night ... In general, nothing, I liked it.

I lived in a hotel near Cleopatra Beach. There is nothing outstanding there. If the hotel is not in Alanya itself, then you can take a bus ride to it yourself. But next to the beach there is a Damlatash cave and just the Alanya fortress on a hill. And behind the hill there is a pier and the Red Tower. In general, a lot of interesting places. And it is better not to see these places with a tour, but by yourself. You will see a lot of interesting things that tourists are not shown on a sightseeing tour, and it’s worth taking a walk through such places.
If you are interested in excursions at all, then I advise you to post Demre-Mira-kekova, Pamukkale-Efes, Cappadocia (yes, this is a long time, but the excursions are worth it). Jeep safari (if you know English, ask to be in a group with foreigners. I happened to travel with the British (there were 5 of us). Very interesting and they bring them to such beautiful places ...) Also rafting, but this is so, for show, because to. the thresholds there are small and you won’t get any special thrills.
You can also go to Manavgat (but this is also by yourself).

Turks can very often bring to the beach and say this is Cleopatra's beach. Friends were in Fethiye, so they were also shown there.

Thanks for answers. As I understand it, Cleopatra Beach, Damlatash Cave and Alanya Fortress are nearby, and it will not be difficult for us to go there ourselves. Right?

That's right! Just go out on the road and stand or walk, buses drive with open doors, beeping wildly, inviting you to give a lift, something like 1-2 dollars per person (or for two, I don’t remember). Tell me where to drop you off, and that's it!

Definitely go rafting.
Be sure to ride a jeep (I haven't been myself, but my friends are delighted).
I recommend a two-day trip to Pamukkale (albeit a little expensive, but it deserves it)
