We arrived at the hotel at about 12 noon, we were offered to leave our things at the reception and go for lunch while the room was being prepared. We asked for a room with a sea view. We were checked into the room at 13.00, although according to the rules of the hotel, check-in is at 14.00. Room 1305 was clean and had a window and balcony overlooking the sea. The view was great. All the necessary furniture, TV and air conditioning were in the room. The furniture had a rather decent appearance, the air conditioner was new. In seven days, towels were changed twice, bedding was not changed, garbage was taken out every day, and toilet paper was placed as needed. True, liquid soap for washing hands ended on the fourth day and was never refilled.
In general, the staff at the reception and the dining room treated us carefully, there are no complaints about the specified staff. Food in the dining room - with it seemed to be a variety of tired already on the fifth day of stay. All meat dishes (there were 2-3 of them) were prepared from chicken, 2-3 times a week there was grilled fish for dinner. They did not give meat for breakfast, it was replaced with chicken egg dishes. Meat dishes were eaten in a cafe near the bus stop 2-B. There were no long queues for meals. During the rest, 80% of the tourists were Turks, the rest were Ukrainians and Belarusians.
The Turks usually spent the day by the pool, so the beach was free and the first line of sun loungers could be accessed at any time. Animation was in the evening after 21.00 and we did not visit it. We, as a rule, went to the sea after breakfast, before lunch and after dinner, during the day we went on excursions and shopping. The sea on the beach of the hotel is excellent, there is a bar on the beach where you can drink soft drinks.
It makes sense for a hotel guide to take a tour to the Legend water park, it is cheaper than going on your own. The rest of the tours need to be taken on the street in tour agencies, where you can still bargain. We took a tour on a pirate yacht.
The fortress in Alanya, Cleopatra Beach and the funicular were visited on their own. Shopping for things was done at the LC Waikiki store near Cleopatra Beach.
During our vacation, there were no Russians, but they appeared on August 10 in the evening and the first two rows of sun loungers were full, noticeable queues began to appear in the dining room for dinner, and there was a queue for alcohol in the lobby bar, which did not exist at all. The ratio of Turks / Slavs approached 50% and became somehow noisy. For normal money, I can recommend this hotel, suitable for families with children.
Resting mostly Turks 80 percent, the rest were Ukraine. The hotel is packed to capacity. The service does not correspond to the declared 5 stars, but even 3 does not pull. Animation for the Turks. The Turks occupy the pools in the morning, but we came to the sea, the sunbeds were free there at any time. Over the sea and the first line is a bold plus. We went half-starved, because one evening we spent 60 minutes behind grilled chicken. Meat only 1, often stewed chicken navels. The food is very bad, especially for children.
We went on excursions, Turkey is beautiful, we were in the mountains, and in historical places, and a boat trip. I do not recommend the hotel because of the constant queues and poor food. One time they couldn’t have dinner at all, dinner until 21 o’clock, they came at 20-00, there were no places, there was a queue, they came after 20 minutes, nothing has changed, the Turks were neighing and sitting at the tables, talking, they came 20-55 already completely removed all from distribution. You could go to the manager and swear, but I didn’t want to wind my nerves first of all.
Conclusion: the location and rooms are satisfactory, the rest are solid minuses, I do not recommend.
Intrusive staff, they push photography, a trip to the mountains, the local manager Richard constantly imposes hammam and massage services, as soon as you agree to a hammam, you will be taken out for a massage session, he will not leave you until you buy his services. Women are massaged by anxious men who paw at all places, lowering women's panties. I was "lucky" to go through this, after which I had to escape from there and I no longer went for a massage.
Nearly burned down in the hotel. A trolley with linen caught fire, which for some reason stood on one of the balconies of the rooms, one of our guests threw a cigarette. The smoke was such that thoughts were only about surviving, it completely covered the upper floors, there was also fire in the corridor on the floor where the fire occurred. Going down the emergency stairs through the smoke, it was difficult to get through, since every staircase on every floor was blocked by a cart full of laundry. The fire alarm did not notify at all, and the staff did not evacuate people in any way, they said that everything was in order, stay in your rooms, we were already asleep, thank God we heard a noise and quickly ran out with the whole family. It's good to be saved. . .
Think for yourself whether it is worth relaxing here... From the pros - a good restaurant and food, as well as staff in the restaurant, the sea is close.
We arrived at the hotel early in the morning (8-00). They put bracelets on us, left our luggage at the reception, went to have breakfast, and at the sea ...settled at 13-00. The very first class hotel 5 *, as it turned out - shit ...so, obviously not 5 stars ...all that the hotel has is the hotel itself (in principle, we got a medium-sized room ...large, but impossible to simple ), lobby bar (open from 10-00 to 23-00, then for a fee), restaurant (they eat here from both first class and class hotel 4 *), 1 adult and 1 children's outdoor pools ...well, 1 indoor pool (well, what a cold clerk), I don’t consider a hammam sauna gym (an annoying fat bastard ...the dock repels from the very arrival).
The entire "entertainment" is located on the territory of the Class hotel 4 * ...there is a small water park, children's and adult animation (I would like it better of course), a swimming pool, and the disco itself (from 23-00 to 5-00) - many Turks brought after midnight ...in general, in the summer in these hotels there are a lot of Turks (enrage).
Compared to my last hotel, the drunkard is better ...it seems not even body-bound, beer is tolerable, dry Turkish wine, crayfish, whiskey, liquors, Turkish vodka ...better cocktails. Water is only in the cooler in the lobby bar, but we sometimes carried it from the restaurant (they give out 1 bottle per table 1.5 liters for lunch and dinner).
The food is the same every day, but there was enough choice - a lot! There were no problems with cutlery.
The biggest (IN MY) minus is that they are not allowed to take any food, water, or booze into the room, they promise to fine you $ 10 ...but still they drag you to the quiet ...glasses (such as administrators) - you will immediately notice them ...
The staff themselves are good, they try to work, the tables are cleaned immediately if possible, the bartenders are normal ...our room was cleaned every day (if asked, by means of a sign on the doors), towels were changed when asked, sheets were changed every other day.
Wi-Fi is paid (1 day - $ 2.3 days - $ 4.7 days and 11 I don’t remember already) - it catches well only in the lobby, not very good in the rooms, but you can use it. Safes $2 per day. Beach towels are $1 per day.
The main plus is the beach and the sea ...the beach is small pebbles ...clean enough, if you destroy the bluffs ...who smoke there and leave where they rest - then it's generally normal! the sea is very clean ...entry into the sea on the territory of the first class 5 * hotel is good (sloping, small pebbles) ...better than class hotel 4 * (there are only boulders and slabs, it won’t take long to break your legs) ...there is a pier , it’s good for adults, in the same place near him a bunch of fish constantly feed ...they swam in glasses next to them - they fed. On the beach there is a bar without alcohol, sometimes it was possible to bring it from a class hotel 4 * ...
It is better not to buy things, souvenirs and toys on the territory of the hotel and in front of it - it is very expensive, it is better to take a walk along a secondary street towards Alanya, almost everything is cheaper there. Plus, there is a MIGROS store somewhere 500 meters away, where prices are the same as in Russia, only in lira ...
you can pay in dollars, they will calculate you at a good rate ...everywhere about 5 lira for $ 1, and somewhere around 3.5-4 lira for $ 1. Before reaching Migros, there is a DenizBank ATM, where you can withdraw lira at the normal rate.
All in all, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
P. S. There is a paid bar in the room (everything is expensive) - take a picture of it on the first day, we didn’t use it ourselves, but a bottle of water was stolen on the penultimate day, presumably by the cleaner, because they didn’t leave her a tip! )) We went to Migros and bought the same one for 1.15 lira and put it in a bar, according to the price list of the hotel, it costs $ 1 or 2.
In general, the room is normal if you do not find fault. But in general, battered =))) and with cleaning troubleaaaaa. But we came to rest and not in the room to cuckoo and look for dirt.
For the entire period of rest, linen was changed 3 times, towels 1 time. It's not enough for a penny =)))) They don't give out bathrobes and slippers. WIFI paid!!!! ! Yes, even though it's free! $1 - per day.
There is no drinking water in the room!
Upon arrival, check the shower gel and soap, we got empty tubes =))) 4 times they reminded us to change them to whole ones. Same story with toilet paper.
They feed three times a day, for a snack before dinner (afternoon snack) they cook cakes on the street, near the dining room. You can live until dinner
I want to say this about food - you won’t stay hungry, but the food is monotonous almost every day.
In the lobby, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for every taste, but a local spill, but you can get drunk with a bang at ease =))))
on the territory of 2 pools, 1 indoor (cold) the price of the tour includes visiting the steam room, sauna, swimming pool, gym, hammam paid (bred for bucks with a bang, bargain)
also on the territory of 3 slides, although they work until 17-00.
Sea and beach (pebble) min 5-7 walk. Lots of sunbeds (free of charge) enough for everyone. The sea is clean.
For buying souvenirs, it’s better to go to the shops across the road from the hotel and in the evening when the heat subsides, you will find shops cheaper than near the hotel (everything is much more expensive) and there is a Fedya & Misha shop, just on the way to the sea (through the underpass) these guys have everything is really cheaper and you can bargain like that.
In the evening, animation for children, then for adults, then a disc player until 05-00 in the morning =))) Drinks at the disco are flat, with their own they are not allowed to go to the disco after 23-00. So you can drink in the lobby (until 23-00) is in the main building of the hotel. on the beach lobby only soda, coffee and just water. Beer can be brought from 2 lobby bars near the slides. It works until 22-00 (and there is a break for about 2 hours)
In general, I liked the rest. But to recommend and revisit this hotel neveraaa moreeeeeeeee According to the reviews, I understood where I was going, and therefore I was not disappointed. Tip: if you go to rest, then rest, there are all the conditions for this !!! ! =)))))
Good luck!!!! !
Territory as such, the hotel does not! If you want to take a walk, then you can do this by going out of the territory and go left along Kargicak, or go right to Mahmutlar. These are the names of small towns. Mahmutlar is prettier, more civilized, with alleys, parks, shops, cafes. There is McDonald's, Burger King, KFC. Banana plantations, for the first time I saw how oranges, lemons, grapefruits, tangerines grow. I liked the street fitness centers in the village. The Turks take care of the population - you can practice as much as you want, whenever you want, and while walking...
Across the road is the beach and the sea. Let's not forget that it's February, it's cold in Russia, and sunbathing on the beach, daredevils swim.
The hotel, in general, is good, exactly for the money that was given, I was afraid of the worst, as reviews of inadequate vacationers began. Everything in the hotel lobby is clean. Above the head in the center is a huge chandelier. There is still a Christmas tree and Santa Claus's house. Receptionist looks respectable. On the first floor (zero for the elevator) there is a lobby bar, a conference room, a restaurant, a place for relaxation and evening gatherings, as well as a game room with billiards. One floor below there is a spa and a gym and a heated pool free of charge. The pools are clean. ATTENTION! Out of season, the sauna and warm pool are included in the price of the tour!
At the exit from the hotel shopping malls. You can choose from products ranging from beach slippers to bathrobes, sneakers and beach towels.
The seller is a woman, understands and speaks a little Russian, and go further and there will be a wonderful souvenir shop, the seller speaks excellent Russian, he also has wine and cigarettes for sale (the prices for magnets and souvenirs are real).
We arrived after lunch, so we had to wait for dinner. Coffee bean machine and excellent hot chocolate. Alcoholic drinks in the lobby bar - took white wine, pretty tasty. We were settled immediately, no deposit, we got room 1219. A good rather big room, decent furniture - two beds (double and single), a sofa, a table with a mirror, a plasma TV, 2 bedside tables, a wardrobe, a safe (for an extra charge), a refrigerator (mini-bar paid), on the balcony there is a table and chairs, a small hanger for drying swimsuits / towels. The bathroom has a hair dryer, shampoo, gel on the wall. Who needs hair conditioner, you need to take it with you.
Bathrobes and slippers are not provided at the hotel, so I recommend taking slippers with you. Conveniently in the room 2 telephones - one in the room, the second in the toilet.
Everything worked in the room, there was a kettle with 2 mugs on the table (1 bottle of water was missing, I took a picture of the entire mini-bar at once, went downstairs, showed it to the reception and there were no questions), the sea view from the first line is gorgeous, the conder works, it’s warm, there is water, not dirty. The only thing that is not very good is the cubicle, made in such a way that half of the water from the shower pours onto the bathroom floor. The rooms were constantly cleaned, towels changed every day. By the way, there are no beach towels in the hotel, bring your own! There is no bottled water, you have to collect water in the cooler in your dishes.
The food is good, everyone will find something to their liking. Although there is a small, but still selection of jams and jams - apricot, cherry, strawberry, blackberry. Of course, honey and Nutella-type nut butter.
Be sure to try rose petal jam - it's a miracle! For breakfast: eggs, omelettes, scrambled eggs, cereals, muesli, cereals with milk, cheeses of various types all the time, sausages, always greens, sauces, puff pastries, they gave chicken and turkey, lamb, baklava cooked, very tasty, always fruit. Oranges were delicious for me! Real Turkish oranges, fragrant and very sweet. In the evening, be sure to have meat or fish on the grill - yummy.
I will especially write about coffee and chocolate. There was normal human coffee! And it was great. True, the cups are small - we didn’t get drunk alone, especially at breakfast, so we drank 2-3. In general, no food or drinks were allowed to be brought into the room. Another detail - there is a bottle of chilled water on each table, we took it to the room, no one stopped.
Chefs at breakfasts, lunches and dinners stand near the tables, answer questions about what it is and what it should be eaten with, and what it is made of.
Alcohol was, as written, from 10-00 to 23-00, but the restaurant liked the wine more (the bottle is opened in front of you, nothing was mixed). The lobby bar did not like red wine, either the wine was different, or diluted. Everyone's taste is different, so the choice is yours.
At the disco, everything is paid, but this is after 23-00. About the noise from the disco - yes, but not critical, it did not cause much discomfort. In general, if you want to sleep, you will fall asleep))) Disco until about 2 am. I can’t rate the animation, because they were out of season - there was mostly karaoke singing in the evenings. Wi-Fi is paid, but good, sends pictures without delay.
There is a nuance in the hammam, sauna, massage (very intrusive service). One such charismatic-looking man named Ruslan stands out there, fluent in Russian. First he will ask you what time you are in Turkey.
Advice: answer that you are not the first, otherwise they will rip you off like sticky. Actually, the question is asked only to find out how much you can be ripped off. In general, he will sell you the services of a Turkish bath. And he will make a "discount" and a "gift" - although all this, of course, is already included in the cost that you will be ripped off. We paid $50 for two for the "complex". This complex includes the first - welcome - visit to the sauna, steam room, hammam, where the attendant will wash you, and then give you a massage and a mud mask, after which you will be given pomegranate tea and let you go home, having previously tried to promote you in the future for additional massage sessions ( 5 sessions for $100).
Osteochondrosis, rheumatism and other joys of life will be found in everyone. Special thanks for the massage - the girl does it very cool!
For these 50 dollars, you can also go to the sauna, hammam, steam room and lower pool in the future, however, no one will wash you and they won’t give you a massage either. Tip: take a mitt after the hammam. So decide immediately - to pay or not to pay. The pool is heated. Sometimes it was cold! Ruslan, he sits in the lobby in a T-shirt with the inscription Information, answers all questions, always tells you how to find something, get somewhere, etc. Thank you very much)
The beach, by the way, is located across the road, and you can get to it from the territory of a neighboring hotel, through an underpass. The beach is sandy and pebbly, so it’s better to take care of purchasing special slippers with holes (you can buy them there, in shops near the hotel, or walk into the city and buy from street vendors, it will be cheaper there).
As for the exchange of money - no problem at all.
On the side where you go to the sea on the right there is an exchanger and in general there are exchangers and they take dollars, euros and lira in stores, and you can take change in lira, they will recalculate at the rate (the rate changes every day, but does not jump). The hotel itself is located near Migros shops (very similar to our Pyaterochki), where you can buy water / sweets and change money (more profitable than in an exchange office). Adequate prices in Bima, Shok. And we also went to Alanya and accidentally wandered into the METRO, and so the prices there are much cheaper than in ordinary stores. If you walk from the exit of the hotel to the right and go left along the road, then on the right side (slightly to the right) there is a wonderful store (towels hang at the entrance, you won’t pass by !! ), very high quality textiles (but you need to bargain). In general, in Turkey you NEED to bargain everywhere, the price can be reduced by 50% from the requested one!!!
We took a trip from the guide Musa, the Demre-Mira-Kekov tour cost $ 90 for two. The tour is AMAZING!!!
We were taken on a comfortable bus with air conditioning...the guide Fatma told us everything very cheerfully and provocatively, so it was impossible to fall asleep there. The Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker is a functioning museum, and 2 times a year it is a church. They also offer to buy very beautiful, but expensive icons ($200.300 and more). After visiting the tomb of St. Nicholas, we went further ...but already on the water! Impressions are overwhelming! The water is blue blue! Eye-catching!! ! The sea was a bit rough! There will be a stop where you can swim in the bay, so don't forget to take swimming trunks and towels from the hotel (there is neither on the yacht), but we had an off-season - the sea is cold.
Then we were fed, I’ll say right away that all drinks, including water, are paid (the water that you take with you will be indispensable in the first half of the trip and when you return home). Then a visit to the city of Mira: tombs, an amphitheater!
The tombs amaze with their antiquity, as if they got into the past. Lycian ancient tombs in the rocks (it is not clear how they did it!!! ). I had never seen this before and was impressed. Everywhere everything is ancient, the remains of any architecture. Very tired from a long road, but did not regret a bit. A cool excursion, worth the money, very interesting, useful, broadens horizons, lovers of history and nature will like it. If you have not been and there will be such an opportunity to go, go, learn a lot of new things and diversify your stay on vacation at the hotel.
In no case do not take a free tour of the leather shop from the guide. They will bring you to the most expensive store, you will lose time. And there is nothing to buy there. There are many other stores in Alanya where you can buy, but cheaper. Green and blue dolmus go to Alanya. The price is 1 dollar or 3 lira, but it is better to pay in lira, because.
They won’t give change from a dollar, a stop is right at the hotel, to stop, you have to wave your hand.
I would like to note the very friendly and welcoming staff of the hotel - absolutely everyone, from cleaners to waiters, that's all the staff without exception. Cool, friendly, polite, kind, very caring to the resting and living in the hotel cats. Hello if you are reading! Separate greetings and thanks to Fariz - a very cultured and well-mannered guy. We did not meet a single case of some kind of rudeness - guys, thank you.
The overall impression was good, however, I would not recommend the hotel to young people in general, as it is located in a very calm and isolated place. In general, summing up - the hotel is not bad. Yes, it is possible that the truth does not draw on its declared stars. But considering how much we paid for the tour (about 3.000 for two for a week), I think it's just a gift.
Perhaps if we paid more, we would find fault with every little thing, but we just tuned in to get the most positive emotions and a super vacation. What do you want))
On the first day, a Turkish cleaning lady for some reason pulled a kettle from our room, I had to arrange a showdown with it. And as soon as we entered the room, it was poorly cleaned after previous guests, they didn’t even remove the garbage from the trash basket and didn’t pour shampoo, I also had to showdown walk. Mood after this hotel is not very good.
