hello, please help me choose a hotel.
booked a tour for 30 days to this hotel, and after reading more reviews we strongly doubted. Is it really such a terrible food? And the entry into the sea is very scary. ...and the most important thing is the sea, we are going to swim all day long =) it is important for us, because it is from Murmansk, and it is cold here...help us make a choice while we can replace the hotel. My wife and I have been vacationing there for 2 years in a row (both times at the end of September). This is a "five", but very, very inexpensive. We really enjoyed!!! The hotel is small (~ for 700 people), cozy, 1st coastline and (most importantly) drunken rednecks don't go there - I hope you understand who I'm talking about.

For nutrition. Hotels like Astor Beach 3 * do not work in winter. Therefore, what will be the food this year will be clear only in the month of May.

Check out the hotels in the Side area. The entrance to the sea is sandy for many. Let there be a three and not on the first line, but it's better than Atstoy beach 3 *. The entrance to the sea near the hotels in the village of Mahmutlar is carved into the rock everywhere.

In the Side area there is a good and inexpensive Grand Prestige 5 * hotel. My wife was vacationing there with her son from 11 to 20 May 2010. The only annoying thing is that 90% of tourists are Germans. It is rather difficult to listen to their not very euphonious speech from morning to evening. In all other respects, the hotel is very wow: a large, green area, a huge private sandy beach with a good entry into the sea, quality food. The animation is a bit weak, but we compare it with no one else, but with the animators of the CLUB INSULA hotel - the best on the entire Alanya coast. In general: read the reviews of people on this site and draw your own conclusions. And yet again, check about early booking. And one more thing (since the conversation turned to limited funds). The cheapest tours are from Moscow. Think about it: maybe it's not worth flying directly from Murmansk, but it makes sense to travel from Murmansk to Moscow by train, and then fly by plane.
We saved $500 this way last year. The price of the tour from Karaganda (Kazakhstan) was $3.008, and from Sverdlovsk TO THE SAME HOTEL, FOR THE SAME 13 NIGHTS, FOR THE SAME DATES $2.321. For the train to Sverdlovsk round-trip we paid $207. Total net savings amounted to $480!!!

we want to fly from moscow. from murmansk it is 3 or even 4 times more expensive. for 2 weeks it’s not enough for us, at least 3. we went to egypt in january for 10 days, we didn’t have enough time. i see no reason to go for 2 weeks.but sun early thanks.

Three weeks in Astor Beach 3 * seems like a disaster to me, the hotel is very small, the beach is across a fairly busy road, large pebbles, the entry is bad, food = food at 3 * in Alanya, i.e. VERY weak, you can walk around Mahmutlar, of course, but you get bored quickly, nature is no sand and stones. You were rightly advised here - see Side, 4 * hotels - excellent service, sandy beaches, greenery. In the villages there are shops, discos, and even in the evening you can walk along the beach without risking breaking your legs.
