Rested with my wife at the Marhaba Palace Hotel in the first half of September 2019.

The ticket indicated a standard room with a sea view. At the reception they said that there are no rooms with a sea view (I was not even surprised ...I read a lot about this tactic in the reviews). Type you have to wait a day (another), but for now temporarily offered overlooking the garden. We went there . . nothing like a room, normal, one-room. They almost wanted to agree, but the 10 euros offered to the Receptionist worked a miracle : ) - superior room with a sea view, two rooms, two TVs (although we don’t have two? .. ), two beautiful balconies (it was convenient to dry swimming trunks. .. ), a chic double bed, three single beds with a baby cot (this is in the first room). Well, a shower room, a toilet, a refrigerator and a safe (free of charge) - that goes without saying.

Our friends were also given a garden view instead of a sea view room. But they did not offer 10 euros, so they stayed there.

The maid was left one dinar each (sometimes half a dinar). The next day drew two pairs of slippers, two bathrobes and an additional third shower towel. My friends didn't have any of this (guess why). All sorts of gels, shampoos, soaps were brought to us daily.

The sea is warm, 26-27 degrees. Great! There were no problems with the beds. Only on the last day jellyfish inflicted . . “stung” me in the leg, my wife got it in the face (well, not in the eyes! ). It took me half a day, my wife took two days. Feelings: someone like . . someone, like a whipped nettle, someone - like a double wasp sting! We went to the pool. Normal two pools there: with sea and fresh water. One day it was raining for half a day. Everything flooded. You can’t walk through the streets, whole seething rivers. Element ...The next day everything was fine.

The restaurant had a lot to choose from. One day the shrimp were on the grill. Yummy! Waiter service was a bit annoying.
Drinks were normally poured only with monetary incentives (Preliminary! ). It is forbidden to pour yourself (in the morning you can ... ). We had dinner on the second shift - from 20:00 to 21:30. Better than the first one...managed to get hungry. A certain table was attached. True, at breakfast and lunch they played a “game” - who will be the first to take our table: us or those on the first shift at dinner.

Since there are a lot of Germans and English in the hotel, all the bartenders expect encouragement (with money, of course: ) ). It was stressful. Especially when you approach the bar, and they silently push a plate towards you, where they put dinars. And this is with All Inclusive! And with every approach to the bar. That's why the Germans immediately took 6 beers : ). Such a love of bribes greatly reduced the impression of the rest.

Were in the store MG (General). It's interesting there, but it's cheaper to buy alcohol in duty free (dutik was a pleasant surprise). I was very pleased with the Ali Baba store. Walk 30-35 minutes, to the right of the hotel. By taxi - 3 minutes for 3 dinars (one euro).

Prices are cheaper than anywhere else we've been. Good towels, souvenirs, coffee, oil ...We also went to Medina by taxi for 10 dinars. Did not impress. Or maybe we bargain badly : )...although they brought down from 110 dinars to 30 . . I won’t write for what, otherwise experts will say that I’m still fucked. : ) There is a shop in front of the entrance to the Medina - with fixed prices. Fairly high prices.

In general, we are satisfied with the rest. If it were not for the increased love for bribes from the hotel staff, then there would be a desire to return.
