Hello everyone! I want to tell you a little about my first visit to Tunisia. We flew with a friend, we are 26 years old, for a week, on a last-minute ticket. I can’t remember the best value for money, although we travel all the time and there is something to compare with. Firstly, the hotel itself, not too big, but very cozy, friendly staff, minus no one speaks Russian, we know English and French, so there were no problems at all, but those who do not speak languages felt very comfortable.

Hello everyone! I want to tell you a little about my first visit to Tunisia. We flew with a friend, we are 26 years old, for a week, on a last-minute ticket. I can’t remember the best value for money, although we travel all the time and there is something to compare with. Firstly, the hotel itself, not too big, but very cozy, friendly staff, minus no one speaks Russian, we know English and French, so there were no problems at all, but those who do not speak languages felt very comfortable. very tasty food, a large selection of meat dishes and fruits. Separately, I would like to say that for those who have an all-inclusive system, sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach and by the pool are free, which is quite rare for Tunisia. The rooms are not too big, but very pleasant. upon check-in, the receptionist asked which floor is desirable and whether we would like to have a view of the large pool:: )) which also pleasantly surprised us: ) you are entertained by animation, dancing and contests, the entrance is 15 dinars from 10-17.00, there is also an amusement park, the most expensive one costs 6 dinars, you can walk to the singing fountains or walk along the promenade in the port, where there are a huge number of yachts, a bunch of shops, nearby the hotel has a German restaurant with its own brewery, restaurants, in general, everyone will find entertainment to their liking. as for discos, there was a disco in the hotel, but there were almost no people, there is a Platinium disco behind the hotel, good music, on weekends it is full of people and you can hang out there, but basically everyone goes to Sousse, to Bora Bora, one of the largest discos of the city. The fare, it all depends on how you bargain, you can ride for at least 3 dinars, even at night.
Of course, there is animation in the hotel, it consists of several boys, during the day water aerobics, darts, bocha, a standard set, of course they do not differ in enthusiasm, but everything you need to diversify your rolling on the sunbeds is enough. In the evening every day show programs, funny and fun, you can watch if you get tired of walking.
And perhaps it’s worth saying a few words about the tour operator, we went from ITS, everything is fine, the guide Natalya is a very nice girl, she answered all the questions, told me where she was, in general, there were no overlays and minuses. Thank you very much for a pleasant stay. From the bottom of my heart I put 5. The rest was held under the slogan - an ideal value for money.

Were with a friend in Tunisia, Sousse - the most fashionable port of El Kantaua. Hotel 4 stars Hauria Palace. In Tunisia, both were for the first time, according to the stories of colleagues (ladies), everything is super duper - almost Turkey. The tour operator dissuaded me, since I’m a friend, by the way, I recommend Golden Tour Vika), no experiments are needed, the hotel is not crowded, they just started letting Russians in, but we insisted on it! The photos on the Internet are beautiful.

Departure was early in the morning, as expected, from Domodedovo. We flew to Siberia, the plane was delayed for an hour + to fly 4. Exhausted, we arrived at the airport. Driving to the hotel added little optimism - through garbage dumps and construction sites (oh, horror! And what's next if tourists are being transported through IT).
Photos on the Internet do not match what they show by 70 percent.
The hotel is not large - 3 floors. There is a TV in the room - there are no Russian channels, no shampoo, the bedspread on the bed is in large smudges (it must have been just knocked out), the curtain smells of dust, not fresh and somehow sticky. One lamp is broken, the bathtub is stained with dirt. And the most funny thing: in the closet, where things were supposed to be on the shelves, a layer of dust the size of a finger! - settled.
They don’t speak Russian at the reception. And practically, they don’t speak anywhere. The hotel’s restaurant is pipets. When I saw sauerkraut and carrots instead of salad, I almost burst into tears of joy. But you won’t see such delicious melons and watermelons with peaches in Moscow!
In general, you will not die of hunger, but there is nothing tasty. Red and white wine is sour. You can drink beer. She regretted that she had not brought alcohol with her, it was too boring to rest. The room was cleaned badly even for a tip (we were 12 days), and then they stopped altogether. Linen changed once, Constantly forgot to put washed towels and single-layer toilet paper. When asked by the maid why they didn’t change the towel, she replied that she SNOWED IT !!! ! And shrugged her shoulders and returned it back.
Go to the beach for about 15 minutes, across the road, then to the left, through 4 or 5 other beaches. The sea is clean, the sand is white, the water in the sea is boiling water. This is probably the only thing I liked.
The person who serves the beach earns money by putting towels on sunbeds close to the sea in the early morning, and says to tourists who come early to take places that the places have already been taken. And then he sells these places for two dollars!! ! The name of this abomination is Jean Claude. We argued with him for a long time, and he called us names.
Yes! A smelly old nag drives to the beach, on a broken-down cart. Sometimes, an old air mattress is tied to her ass, which did not crap on the road.
If you change money in Tunisia, change it in your hotel or in state banks, in another hotel the boy at the reception wanted to charge us 30 dollars for the exchange. Any currency goes, but it is more profitable to carry dollars - they are used to them. And bargain for everything. They cheat everywhere. In no case do not take gold and silver in the markets and stalls - this is copper with a coating. We hit 1000 bucks, with difficulty, we returned half. Jewelery can be bought at fixed price stores, be sure to look for a sample. But this 18 carat gold is quite expensive.
Hookahs must be taken apart. Collected are souvenirs, they cannot be used. Buy excursions on the street, it's much cheaper there. Do not listen to the guides, these Belarusian Moldovans lie and do not blush, especially shopping centers. Spa treatments, real 900 dollars for 10 days in a special center. The rest is all money-squeezing and unsanitary conditions.
There is nothing to do with children in Khauria itself, but there is a large amusement park nearby. Money is everything. The water park does not belong to the hotel. Disco empty, animation in German and English, and not interesting
Clothes and leather handicraft shit. You can bring ceramics, masks made from sea mud and algae, they are quietly sold there. Carpets are good, but expensive. Go shopping in the old city of the Medina, although there are many shops in the port itself.
You can write for a long time, describing your feelings from this country. They are still far from the development of tourism. In a word, Uzbekistan 15 years ago.
