A good option for a relaxing family holiday with quality food. And a good spa. The beach on the first line of the sunset is almost perfect. There is some grass near the shore, but it does not interfere. There are a lot of sun loungers on the beach and by the pools. You can play volleyball on the beach. You can rent kayaks or other non-motorized watercraft for free.

There is some grass near the shore, but it does not interfere. There are a lot of sun loungers on the beach and by the pools. You can play volleyball on the beach. You can rent kayaks or other non-motorized watercraft for free. Everything on petrol is free. The service at the hotel is very decent, but people are waiting for encouragement. Attitude towards guests is excellent. This is not Egypt for you, there is no rudeness here, after all, almost Europe and the Europeans have a decent rest. There is a shop in the hotel, but if you walk a little from the hotel for about half a kilometer, you will find a shopping center where prices are fixed and lower. The hotel is well guarded even on the beach, in addition to lifeguards, there is a guard on duty. There is a Russian-speaking representative at the reception, and so in general, all the staff understand Russian a little. Internet is free on the territory and in the rooms. But close to ideal only in the lobby. Well, the pool is not bad in the rooms, depending on the distance. In-room safe free of charge, beach towels AED 20 deposit. Refrigerator for free. The food is very good. Good grilled sea foods a lot of fruits. Good selection of cheeses. Fresh in the morning. They cook delicious. Near the hotel there is a golf course and tennis courts. Animation can be said to be standard, but funny animators do everything with their hearts and not just to work out. We are very happy that we got to this hotel! But to travel on excursions just to get acquainted with the country, it's worth it. We took a wonderful excursion into the desert. We saw a lot of things and stayed at a hotel in an oasis where you can swim in a thermal spring. In general, we got a lot of impressions.

The Iberostar hotel met all our expectations. The very first thing that caught my eye and imprinted in my memory was the attitude and service. Of course, I cannot but say that everything depends on your attitude. The staff is friendly and responsive. Yes, almost no one speaks Russian, but at least everyone did something pleasant for us, in terms of “please” or “thank you”.

Of course, I cannot but say that everything depends on your attitude. The staff is friendly and responsive. Yes, almost no one speaks Russian, but at least everyone did something pleasant for us, in terms of “please” or “thank you”. The only thing is that the hotel is a little dated and in some places needs renovation, but in general it is very good. I would like to highlight food as a separate item. The menu included all possible types of meat at the same time. Beef, pork, lamb. Poultry - chicken, turkey. Several types of fish. Cheeses, cold cuts, salads, excellent ripe fruits, 2-3 types of ice cream, desserts. The choice of dishes is not as great as in other popular resorts, such as Turkey, for example, but our family ate absolutely everything from the menu. Plus three a la carte, if you want, with excellent service and cuisine. We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel in terms of price-quality. The hotel has an excellent beach, the sea is warm and clean. The beach is constantly cleaned. If desired, you can always find free sunbeds. The hotel has a lot of "our" tourists, as a result of which, already at 6 in the morning, most of the sunbeds on the first line are carefully covered with towels until the evening. The sand is fine and white, the entrance is gentle, without surprises. For several days in the sea, to the very shore, many small jellyfish sailed. These few days we safely spent near the pools. The hotel has a very good SPA center, located in a separate building, and the prices for procedures are quite reasonable. The beach is well guarded, for all the time I have not heard of a single loss. In the end, I want to say a little about the number. Why a little, because everything was great. Bathrobes and slippers, cleaning, cosmetics, towels and bedding changed daily. No complaints or comments. Nice, quiet, quality stay.

The hotel is located on the beach, the area is not very big but very well maintained and clean. The hotel itself is after renovation, good interior, new furniture in the lobby and in the room. The restaurant is large with a terrace and sea views, the furniture is new, the food is very good, the assortment is large, for every taste. Bottled wines, bottled drinking water. You can feed both a man and a small child. Ice cream, freshly squeezed juices....I won’t enumerate - there is everything. The room is large, the furniture is new, flat TV, bedding and towels are all white. Cleaning and linen change every day. Attentive and polite staff.
In general, the hotel is very decent, the only drawback in our period was the arrival of some sect - a conference from Russia. They got everyone and vacationers and staff. Especially the bartenders, the impression is that they decided to drink the cost of the tour. Oh yes, the beach is something, white fine sand, clear calm sea. I recommend to everyone. I would go back to this hotel myself. Have a good rest everyone.

1. The location is excellent for me, within walking distance of a small port - El Kantau, with shops, cafes and just walking in the evening is very pleasant. The road to El Kantau is green and clean. Under the hotel taxis are on duty with normal prices on the counter to Sousse or Monastir 10-20 minutes for sane money.

2. Room - clean, but not sterile, towels and white bedding. The air conditioner works well. Hangers, as everywhere, are few. Condensation was leaking from the refrigerator. The mini bar is empty, only water. There are Russian channels, although we did not watch them. Cleaned up on schedule with no issues.
3. The beach - it is the hotel beach area that is small. Even though there was enough room for everyone. Every evening and morning they cleaned both the sea and the beach. The sun loungers are old. The local police are on duty on the beach, but this did not bother us. There are a lot of traders, the main thing is to ignore them and not to pick up anything. There are various entertainments, volleyball, jet skis, bananas, parachutes. The sand on the beach is soft, white, clean. Very bar right on the beach, the menu is minimal, but sitting in the shade with a great view, with water / cola / beer is very nice.
4. Pool - that's all good, only our mentality is unbeatable, take a sun lounger at 7 in the morning to come at 11, or vice versa leave at 11 to 4, but all this time the sun loungers are busy. I probably never will understand this. The pool animation, water aerobics and some dancing.
5. Food - you definitely will not stay hungry, of course there were no king prawns and oysters, and the basic food +/- was the same, only the main and hot dishes changed. Very good fruits, especially watermelon and fig peach, delicious fish, pizza and grilled vegetables, enough cheeses and various snacks, monotonous desserts, but there are plenty to choose from. There is always ice cream. For breakfast, magical pastries, cottage cheese and several types of honey, freshly squeezed juices (rather freshly twisted, they whipped them in a blender). The bar by the pool has excellent brewed coffee. for a change, go to a la carte, not bad.
6. Service - settled / evicted without problems. Late check-out costs 60 dinars with meals, we had it from 12 to 18 at 18:15 we were already taken away. There was one remark beach towels could be returned or changed only until 5 pm, not very convenient, since many only went to the beach for the second time at 4-5.
Everything is very compact. In general, the hotel is good, there is no particular entertainment, but we didn’t go after them, sunbathing, warming up, eating and sleeping is super.

Everyone imagines their paradise in their own way, I found mine in Tunisia at the Iberostar hotel. Before this trip, I often rested in Egypt, but for obvious reasons I don’t go there anymore. Last year I was in Thailand, but I didn’t like it at all. A trip to Tunisia was a pleasant birthday surprise for me from my boyfriend. While getting from the airport to the hotel, I was very worried. Tunisia itself at first even frightened a little with its situation. At the entrance to the hotel there is an armed guard. Later, they also saw her on the beach. At first, this fact was unpleasant, but then it created an atmosphere of security. But as soon as we approached the reception, we were pleasantly pleased with the attitude and service. We only had to wait 15 minutes for check-in. Our room was on the third floor overlooking the pool and the sea. The overall impression of the room is very good. Just a huge double bed, a wonderful balcony with a glass partition, a neat bathroom, two large spacious and comfortable rooms. Nothing extra and no overkill. I was very pleased with the number. . I would like to pay special attention to the sea and the beach. The entrance to the sea is gentle, but not very long. I don’t swim well, but I also don’t want to go 300 meters to the nearest depth. The sand is unusual, fine and round. Someone wrote about the presence of jellyfish, but we did not come across them. The water in the sea is slightly cool - it's so nice. After the hot sun and air, do not plunge into hot water, as usual in summer. Just great. It was possible to stay on the beach for a long time, which is why we came home chocolate-colored). The territory of the hotel is medium in size. Everything is very nice and clean. Green neat lawns and picturesque palm trees. There are two pools. We swam in them only once, when the sea was stormy. Clean and no chlorine smell. The hotel took a personal tour of the Sahara. Departure early in the morning and overnight. It was a very romantic trip. There, on ATVs, they rode along the dunes. Got a lot of adrenaline. Some complained about the food in the restaurant. Well, here's how. We have always had a choice. All products are fresh and of excellent quality. It tastes a little unusual in the first days, but when you taste it, you can’t pull it by the ears. Great desserts and ice cream at the bar. Very juicy, non-plastic fruit. They make delicious tea in the lobby, and good coffee in the vending machines. In the evenings, interesting performances were held in the conference hall. Several times there were guest artists. The whole day the animators entertained with belly dancing lessons, volleyball and even archery. And here the most important event in my life happened. My loved one proposed to me! This is partly the merit of this heavenly place. Now we are planning to play our wedding in Iberostar!

06/26/2016 returned from this hotel. We rested together with my husband for 11 days.
Separately, I want to immediately highlight the entire staff of the hotel. Service at a very decent level, impressed! Everyone is sooo friendly, responsive, involved. I especially want to highlight the guys at the reception Moussa, Makram and Rached. Any issue was resolved quickly and positively! This special attitude towards all hotel guests smoothed out any discomfort that arose. Now in order.
Settlement. It took 30 minutes from the airport to the hotel. They settled immediately (up to 10 minutes), brought things to the room and asked if everything was fine. It did not suit us, since the windows overlooked a direct view of the sea and at the same time the pool, but we wanted silence and fewer people in front of the windows. When they heard dissatisfaction, they immediately gave another room on the 3rd floor with a partial view of the sea and the garden (386). It was what was needed. We arrived after 23.00, when dinner was already over, but we were fed separately.
Number. The rooms are comfortable and clean with a large bed (we saw three rooms, 2 in which we settled and one with the guys we met at the hotel). TV plasma hanging on the wall. Balcony with dryer and furniture (table, chairs). The safe is free in the closet. The hair dryer is good, the towels were changed and the soap-ryl ones were replenished daily (shower gel, soap and shampoo). There are no bathrobes and slippers. We asked for bathrobes and they brought them to us immediately. Upon arrival in the room there was a plate of fruit and in the mini bar 2 bottles of drinking water. Further it was not replenished, but this is not a problem, water can be taken from the lobby, pool bar or on the beach.
Restaurants, bars.
Main restaurant. There is a lot of space in the hall, but at the same time there is a smell of the kitchen, as much is cooked right in the hall. I didn't feel comfortable eating there. But you can choose more distant tables. There is a small summer terrace overlooking the sea, where we ate. But when we went to eat, we always worried that there would be no free tables, though there always were.
Breakfast. The standard set (fruits, vegetables, eggs, cheese and cold cuts, bread and pastries) is quite decent. There are always freshly squeezed juices: orange, grapefruit, plum (super), melon, peach and mix.
Lunch, dinner. The choice of dishes is normal, there is always fish, beef, lamb, pork, chicken, turkey, several types of salads, cold appetizers, pasta with various fillings, ice cream and many sweet treats. In a day or two, various seafood, rabbit, paella. No tea, juice or coffee. Only water, carbonated drinks (cola, sprite, fanta) and spirits. Alcoholic drinks in the hotel are of high quality.
The service is excellent, regardless of the tip left. Tables are served, glasses are filled, dirty dishes are immediately removed. The waiters are very helpful, friendly and friendly, however, like the rest of the hotel staff!! ! It's impossible not to leave a tip
A la carte restaurant. Free by appointment. Open evenings at 19:30 on Tuesday and Thursday. Thursday Italian cuisine, Tuesday Tunisian. We signed up for Tunisian (of which there is Italian cuisine in Tunisia). Quite a decent dinner.
Bar in the lobby. As a rule, after dinner, everyone spends time in the hotel lobby and on the terrace. Plays the piano, sometimes hold karaoke. There is water, spirits, coffee, tea and nuts.
Pool bar. It works from 10 to 18. You can drink coffee, tea, water, alcoholic drinks, incl. make delicious cocktails. There are also various snacks: pizza, fruits, sweets, ice cream.
Bar on the beach. Only beer and soft drinks are served.
Grounds, pools, beach. The territory of the hotel is small, compact (we were looking for such a hotel). Two pools. One is calm, the other is animated. There are no slides. There are several hammocks behind the tranquil pool. We did not go to the pool, as we arrived at the sea. The beach is small, clean, the sea is clean (they swam enough), the sand is snow-white. True, when we arrived there was a strong wind and the sea was stormy, it was not very pleasant to swim (it caused everyone). But we were informed that such weather does not last more than 2-3 days, so we took a two-day excursion to the Sahara so as not to lose these days, and when we returned, the weather was super for the rest of the time. Plastic sun loungers, old (requesting updates), mattresses, a stationary umbrella with palm leaves. There is a volleyball court (they play every day, so I advise you not to choose sun loungers there). Not enough sunbeds for so many tourists. at 8 in the morning there was no longer a single normal free sunbed, only on the outskirts. I had to get up at 6-30 and run to take a seat, otherwise nothing. Towels are issued against a $10 deposit. for a towel, which is then returned. Towels can be changed near the pool bar from 10.00 to 17.00. There is also an indoor swimming pool with baths, but we did not go there.
For rooms, the prestige pool jacuzzi on the roof of the hotel.
In addition, locals constantly walk along the beach and sell something (fruits, beachwear, drums, souvenirs), which is somewhat uncomfortable.
Animation. Not intrusive, very nice guys (just for a relaxing holiday). They announce the beginning of games, gymnastics (also held at sea), dances, etc. Show programs are held in the evening.
In the evenings, as I wrote earlier, people spend time in the lobby. At 21.30 the show program starts (there were once). They say that there is also a disco where there is no one. There is a hookah bar, as well as a place to watch football, news, etc. All in all, a relaxing hotel. Near the hotel there is the port of El Kantaoui, where restaurants, singing fountains (did not work) and an amusement park, you can safely go there after dinner. Everywhere police patrols, you feel calm. And the locals are all very nice.
There are shops, shopping centers near the hotel (10 min). You can also go to the Medina (the old part of the city) to the market (within the walls of the fortress of that time) and bargain from the heart or to local shops where prices are fixed. We didn't go. Were in stores on excursions to Tunisia (the capital). How and what to get there, as well as where the shops, etc. you will be told in detail at the reception or guide.
You can pay everywhere only in dinars, they can be changed at the hotel reception. The exchange rate throughout the country is the same (1 dollar = 2 dinars). Be sure to save your money exchange receipts, since when you leave, dinars can be exchanged for currency only at the airport and only if you have a primary check and only in the equivalent of no more than 300 dollars.
Excursions. We took to the Sahara for 2 days (I highly recommend it, and at the beginning of the rest, because you learn a lot of information about Tunisia and it’s more interesting to relax later), to Korfagen (3 cities, including Tunisia) and a boat trip. I do not recommend taking a boat trip. Satisfied did not see!
Content. When we arrived at the hotel, there were not very many Russians and somehow it was good. But from the second half of the rest there were a lot of them and the rest was thoroughly spoiled !! ! Some go to the beach with speakers and listen to Russian rap, many swear and spit right into the sea and sand, yell (mostly obscenities to connect words), etc. In general, it seems that the locals themselves were shocked by the contingent of Russian tourists. We were ashamed to speak Russian, we tried in Ukrainian))). And on the last day, a young family of Russians (lying next to me on the beach) put me into a stupor. A little daughter comes up to her mother and says: “mom aa”, to which mommy takes off her doce’s panties and sets her to poop right under the noses of people resting nearby, after which she collects this case in a bag and tells dad to throw “this” into the trash (can’t even take it out to the toilet), despite the fact that the toilet is very close, clean and comfortable. I can already see the face of the person who cleaned the trash can and I don't envy those who have sunbeds next to this trash can (garbage vase on the beach). I was sick for a long time. Of course, this does not apply to all Russian tourists, but, unfortunately, the majority. We very much regretted that we did not take the opportunity and did not go to Turkey, where now it seems like a great vacation without the Russian contingent.
