We are sitting in it now
simple wording of what is going on here = NO OWNER.
It seems to have died last year and the heirs are trying to squeeze everything that is squeezed out of the hotel. Crazy bartender who sings when asked for a glass, elevators not working, not crowded in season. . . deserted and tasteless.
At the same time, the hotel is conceived as a huge, pretentious and pompous. Territory, ceiling height, finishes (years under 70) - everything is impressive in scope.
At the same time - half of the bulbs are missing, they bring only one glass for all-inclusive - then you have to run to the minibar (to this madman) and ask for something to pour or pour water from the cooler for 5 minutes... It's easier to buy a bottle of water and bring it with you . Coffee and tea for lunch and dinner are not available.
All this is combined with surprisingly classy main dishes... 1 fork per person, beautiful panoramic sea views and poorly working conders throughout the hotel (for 10 ye they change the room to a tolerably working unit),
HOWEVER, Tunisia must be compared with Tunisia... and maybe even with Egypt - in general - for other hotels - this one is very good, if you forget about the staff, who simply does not have an owner and he does what he does....From the point of view of comparison countries is poor Egypt.
The hotel is right in the center of the party - the location is good.
For 1.700 rubles a day per person, including everything, everything, everything and the flight, it’s sooooo good. We bought in "Smart Tourism" - the guys (especially Denis and Ksenia are great there) honestly told and showed everything, and quite correctly said "for those who are attached to Egypt" - and that's exactly what we are - everything is clear to us here after Egypt)
Others pay more - too lazy to consider what they get per day (we have 8 days for 13600 per person in a double) - but they got 48 thousand for 11 days for two - in general - obviously more expensive. For THAT kind of money we would be unhappy here and would be very demanding about everything and would evaluate what is happening more harshly, that is, the cmma for the tour, of course, also gives a vision of the situation. The reason is very simple - the hotel is not worth the money.
DAR operator, Umnotour company, local carrier... I don’t remember the name of a small airbus. In general, we discovered Tunisia... people are more peaceful than the Egyptians even, in Sousse - complete calm and order, dirty (not in a hotel but on the street), prices are low, the weather is super! A great (albeit simple) replacement for Egypt!

Recently returned from this hotel, vacation was in August and lasted 2 weeks. August is considered the season, so the prices were higher than usual, for two of us, with breakfast and dinner, it cost $ 1.700. For two weeks - the price is more than acceptable. I really liked the location of the hotel, firstly near the sea, secondly near the yacht club, thirdly - near the amusement park, water park, a lot of cafes and restaurants.

I really liked the location of the hotel, firstly near the sea, secondly near the yacht club, thirdly - near the amusement park, water park, a lot of cafes and restaurants. From other hotels, tourists specially come to this recreation area, but we had everything under our noses.
The hotel rooms are cozy, they clean every day, you should not forget to leave a tip, it’s enough to leave 1-2 dinars (1 dinar - $ 0.6) We had excellent relations with all the staff, we did not skimp on tips) and everyone around tried to please. For the rest, we gave out only 30 dollars and were guests of honor : ) We were not afraid to leave things in the room, but initially the guide advised us to take a safe, which we did (paid separately). Conder worked at half strength, sometimes it was a little hot. I was pleased with the balcony, large enough and of course a view of the sea : )
Norm food. There was no red fish and blue cheese, but the food was delicious. Breakfasts are the most ordinary - salads, sausage, cheeses, cereals. monya, buns, jam, honey, potatoes or sweet pumpkin. Dinners: several types of meat, fish, soup, salads, potatoes, pasta, etc. in general, you will not be hungry : ) For lunch we went to a French restaurant in the port. Tourists were asked to have lunch at the hotel, which was also normal.
The reception will answer all your questions and help, speak English, there were no problems. Wi-Fi only in the lobby, of course, free, laptops are also rented. Sometimes vlobi turn off the network in sockets, you need to report - turn it on.
On the beach, sun loungers are free, but mattresses and towels are paid (take your own from home). All of ours lie without mattresses : ) There are two pools, but many go to the beach, so there are not enough sunbeds for everyone there. The guy Mukhamed works on the beach, ask him to leave sunbeds for you, and don't forget to thank him.
We liked it, and we plan to return to Tunisia and this hotel : )

It's hard to find better places to stay! This is not a hotel for a normal holiday, but a walk-through courtyard. Normal and adequate - this is not the place. Bypass this garbage dump!! ! Do not spoil your vacation! The territory is NOT SECURATED at all and is not illuminated !! ! All the rabble of Sousse climbs into this hotel.

Do not spoil your vacation! The territory is NOT SECURATED at all and is not illuminated !! ! All the rabble of Sousse climbs into this hotel. For 5 dinars, locals are allowed to climb around the hotel and lie next to you on the beach and by the pool. Upon arrival at THIS place, they will immediately lure you out of $ 10-20 by promising you the very best number. Divorce! This is promised to everyone! Please note that the BEACH BAR, GRILL and SNACK BAR is a scam!! ! They don't exist at all. Myth. And the bar at the POOL is a complete trendy! There, beer is poured into Fanta bottles and put on the bar counter. ENJOY, DON'T HESITATE!! ! There is also some "barchik" almost at the reception. There you can try a pie called pizza and a sandwich called hot dog!
In short, absolutely EVERYTHING is scary and sad! More or less just the beach. The rooms are bearable. In Tunisia were the first and definitely the last time.

Hello everyone, my wife and I flew on a honeymoon to this very hotel, we flew abroad for the first time in general, and after reading the reviews, we naturally thought that snickering people were writing, but it’s fine for us +)))
well, let's start the story +) we flew to the airport in Monastir (old), we were met by the same Vera about which many write here, it immediately seemed to me that there was something in the reviews and I was already a little upset..... they got on the bus and took everyone the guide says well, 10 km, we don’t need anything here and only our ganibal remains +)))) from the whole bus there were 5 people left of us +) having arrived at the place and entering the hotel, I began to get more and more upset, the staff was terrible, the place was strange, old....in general, horror..... they settled down, gave us the second floor, went to settle down, left the elevator and saw this terrible corridor with a carpet on the wall, I’ll even say carpet....with a nasty smell, dumb old doors....opens a room for us, I'm just horrified, it's just a viper..... with a view of the roofs of neighboring buildings... went back, gave $ 10 at the reception, he said look at the 3rd floor, went there, the room smoky in the trash, in in general, the same vile and nasty, cockroaches and ants in the refrigerator, in general, for the third time they gave the 4th floor..... you had to go along the corridor from whether fta well, 100 meters, probably, because in order to save money, only one of the 4 elevators works! well, realizing that all the rooms are the same, we decided to stay, but to be honest, it was even disgusting to be there, the only thing that pleased was the view of the sea =))) put all things and left the room further away, went for a walk around the territory..... it’s just a wilderness there, there are very few people at the pool, and all in 50 years basically +))) we reached the so-called beach and it’s all in the trash , it's very disgusting, the main part of those who are on the beach are local Arabs, walked a little further along the beach, went to some kind of blank fences and that's it....just wilderness, dirt, cats and dogs everywhere! tin in general! we were upset on so much that I already wanted to leave for Moscow, they began to think what to do..... in general, it was already too late to contact Moscow, because the difference was 3 hours! Marina Vasilievna) she found all the options for hotels, made a lot of efforts to get the money back to us....she called us in the evening and said to go see the MARHABA CLUB hotel! we immediately took a taxi and went there, looked inside....walked around the territory and realized that's where life is... even a smile appeared on my face...... well, that's another story (I'll tell you in short, we moved to the marhaba on Saturday, lived there for a week and it was simply unforgettable, we paid only $ 210 for two, I don’t want to, but I’ll write all this there)
Well, back to Hanibal! We met a woman there, Sveta, she had the same opinion as we did, she had a week to rest, but she stocked up on excursions for all days just to get away from the hotel!
met another girl! they flew with her husband for 2 weeks, she has an anniversary there, invited her brother and friends there, etc! and was very upset because she got into ganibal!
In general, I can talk about this place endlessly!
it seems that we have everything inclusive, but I still didn’t understand it! in the pool from 9-16 it’s like....and then with a disgruntled face I poured..... I didn’t have to ask a bottle of water (bought in a store) then from 16-24 it seems like I would work in a hotel!
animation..... well, there was one poor animator, and then he was going to quit and told that it was normal here 20 years ago, then the founder of everything and everything died and the heirs remained, who began to divide everything, well, and here they save a lot on everything absolutely !
the food is boring and every day the same thing! fu! sweets are tasteless, fruits are only watermelon and melon! no ice cream! if you drink one glass of water, the second one is a whole problem, starts complaining that the boss will have a problem if he sees it, etc!
I’ve already said everything about the rooms and there’s nothing to say, it’s just disgusting! not only is it far to go, but because of the economy there is no light there, there is only a dimly lit exit at the top in the door +) and like this in the dark we returned to this viper room!
Damn, in general, I'm tired of writing, it will be interesting to ask! I can argue my every word!
If you don't want to ruin your vacation then you better not come here!!!!!!!!!! !

I'll start with the biggest drawback of this hotel - it's no separate area and security. Everyone can go to the hotel, to the beach, in the evenings there were always strangers in the lobby. And the presence of a disco in the hotel did not inspire a sense of security - for a fee everyone comes (you know that there are mostly Tunisians). However, when the manager of the travel agency provided us with this information, we did not attach much importance to this fact. So if you want to be calm - choose a closed hotel.
The next moment is a safe (not in the room, but at the reception) on the key, not on the code. Forgetting the code - and rest yourself. And where to put the key? Especially we did not take any bags to the beach and there were no pockets in clothes. Therefore, it was very inconvenient in this regard. Bathed in turn: (
At the expense of food. There were many delicious dishes, but in 2-3 days everything was repeated. What disappointed me was the repeated serving of food - in the morning the vegetables were cut into large pieces, for lunch - they were chopped into a salad, and for dinner - they were added to dishes! ! ! ! ! Of the fruits were only watermelons and melons. We did not try any exotics.
The beach area is not separated from other beaches, from the side of the port often came not very clean water. 2 swimming pools (one adult, one child). Nothing special.
Water dripped from the ceiling right at the entrance to the hotel. The staff replaced the buckets and so on for an hour. No reaction to the problem. Repairs long ago, rugs worn.
Plus, it's free Wi-Fi at the front desk.
You can be sure that my reviews of this hotel are true. So if you do not want to face such features of the hotel - choose 5 * or another 4 *.

Good day! Just arrived from this hotel yesterday! I will be consistent: If you like comfort, this is not the place for you. - if you like to spend time on the beach, and not by the pool, you are not here - if you love yourself and take care of your digestive system, you are not here - if you protect your nervous system, you are not here.

About the sea: this is a dump...and I don’t mean algae and jellyfish (these are the inhabitants of the sea), I’m talking about what is being done at the bottom near the coast - a dump for household waste (those who swim without a mask may not notice this)
About the beach: there is very little space, it is crowded, there are not enough sunbeds, and those who have the beach workers themselves take early in the morning for resale to vacationers.
About the territory: it is not guarded, some local natives (not hotel employees) walk around it.
About the building: working air conditioners in the rooms are rare (I changed four rooms), in the corridors at the reception and the worst thing is in the dining room (this place cannot be called a restaurant) there are no air conditioners at all !! ! !
About service: ALL INKLUSIVE - it is not there, you have to pay for everything (otherwise they will not be served at all).
About the guide (name is Vera): this is something ...not educated, not cultured, not educated "miracle".
In short - this is a hotel with 2 * and this hotel does not have any 4 *! ! By the way, when he left, it burned 3 *.

As always, don't trust reviews 1. We flew with Nouvelair. Staff - not a word in Russian. Fill out the migration card in English. Save the spine (you will need it on the way back). Flight 3.5 hours. Back 3 – we had UIA. 2. Chose between Chems El Hana and Hannibal Palace. We chose the latter and have never regretted it.

The experience of Turkey and Egypt, both 4 and 5. Therefore, they did not expect something chic. The transfer took 40 minutes.
3. Location. In general, the hotel is old, but very dimensional. The territory is huge - not guarded (Security is only on the street at the reception. Nearby there is everything - the port, the General store, the amusement park, the Metallika disco, a number of coffee establishments and the center of Sousse 15 minutes by taxi (5 dinars). The course is $ 1 - 1.8TD.
4. Beach. He is there! Sun beds are free and there are few of them - you need to borrow in advance and they are until 6 pm. You can also lie down on the sand, but it is wet almost all day. Since this is a port, the sea is clear until lunchtime, then algae begin....there are small jellyfish, but they sting very much !! ! Don't be lazy to walk along the coastline.
5. Nutrition. Generally 3+. But we had enough. This is the same thing, it will be worse in Egypt. In principle, you can take breakfast + dinner, and buy water and tea separately - it's all very inexpensive. There will be nothing good in an all inc hotel. In the dining room, take better disposable cups. Fruits will not be enough (such is the mentality of Russians : ), the waiters will circle around you in order to earn 1 dinar.
6. Excursions. Be sure to Sahara - about $ 170 / person for 2 days !!! ! Unforgettable experience! You will not regret! Carthage + Sibi Bou Said + Tunisia - also nothing. They say the evening of the laser show is also okay, but we didn't get there.
7. Service. Swimming pool from 10 to 6 pm. a bar next to it from 10 to 4 pm, then the second bar in the building opens. The animation is designed for a week, and we were told that this one is the best in the area. They have never been, but people who do not find themselves in terms of a “tour around the country” do what they sit at bars and drink culturally....Disco from 12 midnight until morning - all the locals come. Saturdays - foamy. Room (442) was lovely with a sea view with everything working inside - of course we paid extra $20: cleaning every day, towels a little miserable but clean.
8. Get ready, the majority of the population knows Arabic and French, so sometimes you can’t prove anything with English))). There are a lot of French, Tunisian Arabs, Poles, Russians, Serbs, even the British among the vacationers) they heard their native Ukrainian speech at the end of the holiday)))
9. Of course, we paid $800/person for the hotel - maybe a bit expensive, but we don't regret it! The main thing is to go with a positive attitude! As we began to laugh on the plane - so we were on the lung and the whole vacation passed! A sea of impressions! I liked the country! I want to go back…. . good luck to everyone and add YOUR opinion about hotels and countries! Travel! )))

In general, before the trip we read so many conflicting reviews that we did not know what to believe. We went on a tour to such countries for the first time, usually we ordered everything ourselves. Since we are completely unpretentious tourists who only need a clean room with a bed to spend the night there, good weather and clear sea, we decided that the hotel will do, and those who want to write bad reviews for 20 thousand rubles.

In general, before the trip we read so many conflicting reviews that we did not know what to believe. We went on a tour to such countries for the first time, usually we ordered everything ourselves. Since we are completely unpretentious tourists who only need a clean room with a bed to spend the night there, good weather and clear sea, we decided that the hotel will do, and those who want to write bad reviews for 20 thousand rubles. holiday like in the Maldives.
I'll start in order:
1. Upon check-in, they offered to pay extra so that we could be settled in a room with a sea view. The hotel administrator refused to take the money, saying that now all the rooms with sea views are occupied, so they will settle us in what they have.
2. There were four of us: we were for 7 days, the guys for 4. The hair dryer did not work in our room (the guys dried themselves) - room 407, in theirs - the shower (washed with us) - 406. The guys left, there is nowhere to dry. It was not possible to achieve something to fix-replace for 4 days! Somehow, with the help of a guide, this issue was resolved. We were moved for an extra fee to another room. In another room, the refrigerator, TV did not work, and water dripped onto the floor all the time from the swollen ceiling in the bathroom (405). I don’t know, maybe they didn’t pay enough, maybe they just thought that “we suckers, this will do. ” Because the move takes quite a long time, we decided not to twitch, the remaining 3 days to endure.
3. The food is tolerable, although very monotonous. Periodically there are half-dead shrimp, some kind of meat. The fish is well cooked. There are no fruits at all - yes. Cold side dish all the time. After they saw how the sauce in the pasta stirs the Arab with his bare hands, the desire to eat them disappeared. The first time you come with your yellow card, it is fixed at your table, at which you must then sit. The dirty cooler constantly spins water and bright yellow and orange juice that tastes like yuppies.
4. I am very squeamish, so a dirty toilet bowl, always stained windows, stains on bedding, dust everywhere (we washed the chairs on the balcony ourselves), a bathroom in green stains from bleach, greasy forks and plates, etc. plunge me into horror. When I went outside with a glass of water, I found that it was poorly washed, there were traces of someone's lips and juice residues on it. But most of all I was struck by the fact that plastic cups are washed in the all-inclusive bar! The table will come up to you to wipe it 5 times, trying to earn a dinar.
5. By the way, they pour reluctantly in the all-inclusive. Perhaps due to the fact that everyone drinks a lot, Russians in particular (this is the first time I go all-inclusive), but they pour both wine and beer in half a glass.
6. The beach is VERY dirty. Actually, it was even a bigger minus than a dirty number. VERY! There is garbage lying on the beach, but the worst thing is how much it floats in the water. Plus, because of the breakwaters, there is always a lot of mud, grass and some kind of algae in the water. And candy wrappers, cans, bottles, cigarette butts - this is the smallest thing that floats there. The beach itself near the hotel is very small, literally 6-8 rows of umbrellas, 3-4 in a row. There are nearby beaches, but you can only lie down there for a fee if you hide the Hannibal Palace bracelet. And as someone already wrote, locals constantly come to get acquainted, communicate, etc. Moreover, even if you don’t react, they sit down next to you and continue to talk. If you ask them not to touch you, they don't respond.
7. Again, the downside was that the pool was also practically not cleaned. I was struck by the children's pool, in which black mud floated at the bottom, and fallen leaves on the surface. And for some reason, the locals swam in the large pool, and no one drove them away. In general, I was surprised that the locals could easily walk around the hotel, "click" to the girls, grin and lie on the sun loungers.
8. They try to make money on everything. This is true. The nice guy from the pool bar didn't give change all the time. "He didn't have 2-3 dinars, " he asked for a refund for "good service, " and when the guys left, he told us that they hadn't paid for 2 beers.
9. In general, the weight is very mediocre, VERY (even the same hammam that we tried). More than average. The hotel is not 4 *, but 2-3 * if objectively. We were in 4 * in Asia, and we know what it is. Although Asia is also not the cleanest.
Perhaps the hotel was partly spoiled by the Russians themselves, vacationing there, that they are treated like that. Maybe it's just that kind of mentality.
10. At the local hotel disco, again, only locals, hotel workers and....hotel prostitutes! You can order and pay for them only through the reception. There is nowhere to go especially. there are no bars, etc. near the hotel, and it’s better for two girls not to go at all. We went with a company to Sousse, Medina, etc. There is also nothing special to do there.
11. If someone is interested in animation, then it does not exist as such. In the morning, water aerobics in the water (every day the same melody), in the afternoon darts, in the evening a performance for children at half past nine O_O. Again, by the way, the same every day. A couple of times they collected money for some kind of lotteries. Maybe they just arrived out of season, although it seemed to me that such concepts do not exist for animation. There are three animators: a DJ, a boy and some sad girl with him.
There is no more desire to go there, this is 100%. I won’t say that we left in horror, but I already wanted to leave on the 6th day. I have no idea what people are doing there for 14 days. Any experience is good, even this one.
P. S. An aunt was sitting with us on the plane, enthusiastically talking about another hotel, where there were rooms with loggias, ottomans and mini-bars, on the buffet you could eat yogurt, ice cream, a variety of fruits from strawberries to watermelon, soups, freshly squeezed juices, in the evenings live music played and performances were shown, and with the animators you could learn to play golf, ride a catamaran for free, go in for water sports, even equestrian sports were free, not to mention banal badminton and tennis, it became sad. She paid 5 thousand more. No, we were not trying to save money on the trip, just on the trail. times we will be smarter if you want to return to Tunisia.
