Visa to Thailand
In January we are going to Thailand, we just bought round-trip plane tickets. The question is - what package of documents is needed to get a visa already on the spot at the airport. Do you need a hotel reservation (if yes, then the minimum time), as well as a photo of what size? Different sources indicate different sizes. Thanks!

in general, visa issues are dealt with before buying tickets. And the source for you should be the website of the Thai consulate in Ukraine, and not different sources.

Rules for obtaining a visa on arrival
For citizens of Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, obtaining a visa takes place at a special counter "VISA ON ARRIVAL" where you must provide:
• Passport (valid for at least 6 months from the planned date of departure from the country)
• 1 photo 3x4 (taken no more than 6 months before the visa was issued)
• A copy of the return ticket (migration services check the date of the return flight, a photocopy of the ticket can be made on the spot at the airport or in advance before departure).
• Migration card - issued and completed on the plane
• Visa Application. The questionnaire is filled out independently, by hand.
• Visa fee of 1,000 baht per person (payable in baht, this is approximately $35).
ATTENTION!!!
• The Bangkok Airport Immigration Service may ask arriving tourists to present cash or bank cards (minimum amount per person - US$500), as well as a return ticket for departure from Thailand.

Visa on arrival - 15 days!!! Did you happen to take tickets for a longer period? In general, they don’t look at hotel reservations, but you must indicate where you will stay in the questionnaire. If you have time and you are not far from Kyiv, you can apply for a visa at the consulate and not bother at the airport. (40 dollars, and the duration of stay is at least a month). The place for pasting a photo in the questionnaire is slightly more than 3 by 4. But they don’t really look at it. Go to the photo studio at home, say, for a visa, they are in the know.

on the plane, they filled out a migration card (a sample can be viewed on the website of the Thai embassy so that there are no problems with filling it out later), at the airport, go to the VISA ON ARRIVAL counter, there are visa application forms that you need to fill out by hand, enclose your international passport and 1 photo (they don’t pay much attention to the size), by the way, next to the counter there is also an instant photo service, naturally paid. Next to the exchanger, where you change money, submit documents and money through the window ... Everything - no problem! Don't worry, everything is quite simple, but do not forget that the entry is not more than 15 days. If you need longer, then you need to contact the Embassy!

Well, if you took more than 15 days and don’t want to bother with visas in Kyiv, then just on the 14th day drive somewhere like Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and back for a 15-day stamp! :)

The chip with Cambodia does not work - a re-entry visa.

"in general, visa issues are dealt with before buying tickets"
Why's that??? Any planning begins with the purchase of tickets!
"And the source for you should be the website of the Thai consulate in Ukraine"
No. Documents and procedure are different upon receipt in Kyiv and at the airport in Bangkok.

Well, yes. First you buy tickets, and then you find out that, according to some criteria, you cannot enter the country or get a visa or you will not have time. At least stupidly because of the long weekend at the Consulate in connection with some national holidays.
and if you carefully study the site of the Thai Consulate, then the procedure and conditions for obtaining a visa at the airport are prescribed there.
