I always change dollars for tourists. Very often and very much. Never looked at the year of issue. There has never been a refusal or an underestimation of the rate for banknotes 50 and 100. I don’t know who spreads such information that they don’t take dollars older than 2000, I personally have never come across this. And I change a couple of thousand dollars a day. Banknotes are so old in appearance that in Ukraine the money changers would definitely not take them, and there the main thing is that the checking machine let them through.
