Tell me from A to Z
My husband and I want to go to Thailand in Phuket in November. Tell us in detail about how much money you need to take with you, what to take from things and essentials, how much excursions cost there, from whom it is better to buy them. I'm interested in any information, thanks in advance

Svetlana, look through the forum, please. This has been written here a thousand times before. Respect other people's work and time. And some specific questions can be answered.

Waldi, if you have nothing to write, then do not work, I'm looking for people who are not hard to share their impressions

I have nothing to add ... a freebie is a sweet thing, really

The most-most minimum 40-50 dollars a day / person.

Waldi pay you to ignore my question?

Oleksii64 40-50 dollars is this taking into account excursions or just food?

The concept of "minimum" implies that on the days of excursions you will have to save on food, and on the days of good nutrition - save on the rest.

Good afternoon.
For two of us, it took about 800-1000 baht a day - this is lunch and dinner + some little things in the shops "7 eleven", they fed breakfast at the hotel. Moreover, they rented a bike several times without going beyond these limits (this is 200 baht per day). We had enough, but of course it depends on your appetite and the amount of alcohol ordered, which significantly increases the bill. Yes, and as practice has shown, there is no need to look for a cafe with a rich interior in Tai, etc. In simple cafes, food is tastier and cheaper and there have never been any health problems or anything else, they appreciate customers and are very friendly to them. We usually find 1-2 cafes in which we are satisfied with the menu, prices and service. As for those days when you go on excursions, then food is included there, and quite good and in unlimited quantities.
It is best to buy excursions in one of the many street travel agencies, they have a large selection and they make discounts, and they do not impose what is more expensive.
As for the essentials, it's up to you. For the first time, we didn’t take a hair dryer with us, and it wasn’t in the room :) In general, you need to take a minimum of things, you can buy everything from light clothes quite cheaply there.
Good luck to you!!!

Andrez thank you so much for your answer! Please tell me 100 baht is how many dollars? Which is better to take a hotel 3k 4k or 5k?
аватар Andrez
1 Thai baht is about 1 our ruble, 1 dollar costs about 31 baht.
The hotel again depends on your requests. We were in 3* in Phuket and last year in 3* in Phuket. Koh Samui is also in Thailand. So three stars on Koh Samui are much better than the same 3 stars in Phuket, both in terms of room equipment and breakfast. And also for the provision of such free services as Internet and a safe in the room - in Phuket this is for a fee.
We travel on our own, not through travel agencies, so we try to save where we can, but nevertheless we appreciate comfort)). If funds allow, of course, you can take 4 and 5 stars. In Thailand, rest is not a hotel, where a hotel is needed only for bed and breakfast. The next time we are going to Tai, we will book 3 * again. So it's up to you. The main thing is a positive attitude - and the rest will be successful!
