If you choose the time of the trip in terms of weather, choose July 4 or August 15?
Plans are changing. Tell me, is it better to go to Phuket in Patong Bay from July 4 or August 15 (tours for 14 days) in the weather (rain, storm, waves, jellyfish)?

Dear Nata, why do you need Patong? And, as you pointed out in another post, the first line??? In Patong, there are only two or three hotels on the first line: Amari Coral Beach, Impiana Phuket Cabana and some other small three-ruble note. But in fact, there is no benefit from the first line. You won't feel privacy there. Although, of course, Amari Coral deserves good ratings due to both the service and the location (on the very edge of Patong, away from the noise). But, given the specifics of the weather for your holiday, I would recommend Emerald Bay or TriTrang Beach with the same name hotel. There, of course, is not Patong with its muddy waters and evil, greedy Thais on the beach. Trai Trang has clear water, no waves (the cape closes this area from the wind), and coral gardens. The beach is empty, clean and well maintained. There is a bus from the hotel to Patong (free of charge) several times a day - only 5 minutes on the way. You're better off not advising

I think that there will be no special difference between July 4 and August 15. If you have already decided to go in the summer and specifically to Phuket, and the only question is the date, then I advise you to listen to Waldi and focus on choosing the best place in Phuket.
Waldi, what about low tides on Trai Trang? Strongly expressed?

Pachok, you know, I haven't heard a single complaint about strong low tides. To be honest, I don’t think they are strong there, since a cruise ship anchors a kilometer from the coast (when it comes to Phuket in the season). There is a smoothly outlined entrance to the sea and the depth is immediately waist-deep. I think the sea will not go much at low tide, although I'm not 100% sure.

Thank you. My friend advised me to Cape Panwa for summer time, but she complained about two things - strong low tides and remoteness from the "centers of culture" :) I'll take note of Trai Trang.

Many thanks for the advice, Trai Trang will definitely take note, but this hotel is not in the list of hotels that are booked by charter. A familiar manager in a travel agency dissuades us from going to Phuket, says that my friend and I will be bored there and recommends going to Pattaya. Other friends give different advice. Now we don't know which is better. Tell! In Pattaya, we choose between the hotels Avolon, Grand Heritong, Long Beach, Sea resort & spa, all on Jomtien beach / How is it, what kind of beach, what kind of hotels? Who was - share your impressions, maybe tell me some other hotels, but not very expensive.
