Somehow abruptly and unexpectedly, they gathered with friends to urgently fly somewhere on a last-minute ticket. Our choice stopped in Thailand, on the island of Phuket.

We wanted to take places in one hotel, but it so happened that two had to be accommodated in the FX 3 * hotel (or whatever it is now called) in Potong, and two (including me) in Kamala at the Kamala Beach Inn 2 hotel *.

And so, the journey began!

Airline. Before traveling, I studied a lot on the Internet for everything about everything that will be around us, including about the airline we fly with. The carrier was the Nordvind airlines, on the Internet there were a lot of negative reviews about this airline, that it was already scary to fly with them, they were also convinced in the travel agency that our air carrier is just awful! But until you visit yourself, you will not appreciate it! In fact, the "North Wind" is just a super airline! Big respect to them! I liked everything very much - kind friendly staff, soft takeoff and landing, delicious food, there are blankets for all passengers, compared to Transaero, it's just super!! ! (flying on Transaero from Bali 2 weeks before departure to Thailand). I asked for more food - they brought 2 more servings!!! ! And they sent it to Transaero for x ** (((I wish the prosperity of this airline!

Connection. Upon arrival in Thailand, immediately after passport control, free sim cards are issued! Be sure to take these sims! Communication is just a penny! A call to Russia - only 3 rubles through the number 00600 !! ! SMS and calls within Thailand - about 20 kopecks!

Currency. The Thai baht is approximately equal to the Russian ruble, which is very convenient. There are many exchange offices where you can exchange dollars, euros, other currencies, and in some, the Russian ruble. I advise you to take dollars in large, 50 and 100 dollar bills, the exchange rate is more expensive for them. This also applies to many states of Southeast Asia.

Prices. Prices in the country are very inexpensive: T-shirts for 100 rubles, beer at 7-elevtn and Famely-market for 39 rubles, a bottle of local whiskey for 93 rubles. The only thing that seemed expensive to me was a tuk-tuk ride, it cost us 300 baht to get to Patong from Kamala, i. e. at least 600 baht was spent on travel per day. Rather than driving a tuk-tuk, it is better to rent a moped, for only 200 baht per day without a deposit, only a copy of your passport is needed. Gasoline, also known as gasoline, costs 35 rubles per liter.

Food. The food is very tasty, and also inexpensive, at first we had lunch and dinner in restaurants in Patong, for about 140-150 baht per person, while they brought so much food that we were not able to eat everything !! ! A couple of days later we found a small cafe in a small alley, where Thais cooked excellently. The price list was even lower! Dishes for 50.80 and 100 baht! Water is free. But they have problems with bread - a piece of bread costs 50 baht, in Thailand rice instead of bread. I like spicy food, but I have never seen very spicy food there)))

Beaches. Patong Beach is a big good public beach, sun loungers cost 150 baht a day, but we Russians are no strangers! we can just lie down on towels on the beach for free!! ! I liked the beach, the water is quite clean. The water temperature is just boiling water! The ebb and flow is felt. Kamala beach. Fine. Neither good nor bad. Just a good beach, here you can ride a jet ski, yacht, boats, etc. We were also on the beaches in the very south of the island - Rawai and some other, I don’t remember the name (to the right of Rawai, if you move south)! It's a miracle there - just pure turquoise water! I've only seen this in movies!

Night life. This is, of course, Bang La Road in the center of Patong. A bunch of establishments and nightclubs that show A-go-go shows, shows of transvestites and other evil spirits)))) Entrance is free everywhere, you just need to buy a drink, beer, for example, for 100-150 baht. Before visiting this street, I considered myself depraved! Not! Such miracles show! Seen it there! Bang La Road is a must-see when in Phuket. Touch the chest and take a picture with a trance in any position - 100 baht. Not far from Bang La Road there is a nightclub, on the streets they distribute passages there - free admission and free drink. Not a bad club, although the music could have been better put on.

Prostitution. Everywhere and everyone wants you! There are a lot of Thai girls, trannies and boys offering their services, which is just awful! You can't walk down the street. so that some Thai thread doesn't touch you and say, "hello mister, let's go boom-boom! " The cost is approximately 1000 baht per day. They don't know the word sex, they call it boom-boom.

Nature. Everything is super! Everything is beautiful, a bunch of palm trees and tropical plants.

Roads. Good ones. Often mountainous and winding (especially on the road from Patong to Kamala). Left side traffic.

Here. Still a bunch of impressions. If you have any questions - ask - I will answer!
