It just so happened that in the summer I am not drawn to rest anywhere. Well, maybe May-June to Turkey with children... But this is if in April they didn’t go anywhere with the transition to May. And here it is in 2018, the height of summer, you need to think about an exotic winter vacation. Different directions are being considered, there are more bets on profitable tickets. Psemu, on the site for booking air tickets I put alerts in different directions, which send all variations on tickets, promotions, etc. to the mail. Usually, in July-August, the picture begins to emerge and an understanding of the value comes, whether the shares will be (if, for example, a new airline enters the market, as in 2017 Qatar Airlines) and the final decision is made how, what and where we will go to rest. 2018 somehow did not please with interesting offers, the prices were not good and we decided that we would fly to Thailand with a deployment in Phuket. Why is that?
Because Anex decided to launch direct flights Kyiv-Phuket and despite their delays and transfers, we decided to take a chance, because this time we decided to fly together with my husband, without children. The prices offered were good, from the hotels provided, a hotel was chosen near Kata Beach, neat, clean, with a good reputation and without a deposit upon check-in, which actually did not play a special role, but was a nice bonus. I will say right away that we have previously been to Thailand, but with a different program, and with the deployment of Bangkok-Pattaya-Krabi-Ko Chang-Bangkok. That is, Phuket was not mastered by us, and it was on this trip that we decided to close this gap. The tour was paid for, a week later I watched Anex raise prices by 500-700 ye on our date and was glad that we had time. And what was my surprise when, three weeks before X hour, I see poor occupancy of the plane on our date .... and what does Anex do . . yes, it lowers the price ...
so much so that the price becomes less than the one that was in Belarus by about 200 dollars . . of course I was upset, but then... what a pity! the price-quality ratio in our case was optimal. What about the departures . . The first flight of Anex from Azur was supposed to take place on 26.10 (we flew second on 6.11) and the flight took place half an hour late at 23-30, which is not significant in general. But our flight was at first at 18-00, then at 22-00 and, as a result, was postponed to 23-20 .... the question is why not immediately set such a time so that it would be visible... a difficult question, but as a result the day of arrival down the drain .... which of course upset... We arrived in Kyiv intercity and .... The weather is great, but then walk until the very evening . . Departure and about 15 hours Phuket met us with 31 degrees and very high humidity. Obtaining a visa upon arrival is, of course, a quest .... First, change money, then I will hand over my passport with completed questionnaires 2000 per person in one window and try to get it with a visa in another window ....
Where an employee simply shows a photo and you need to identify yourself there and pick it up... It seems nothing complicated, but when this window is a nervous crowd waiting for their passports .... That's another event. Then the guide, transfer and accommodation are all standard, but with Thai moments : ) we arrived at the hotel by 18 o'clock .... You want to eat, and then the second quest is where to eat normally? In the first cafe, we were disappointed with the food, but we spotted a Thai seafood eatery across the road, where we were perfectly cooked a whole fish with rice and two different sauces for 200 baht ! ! ! We bought rum and sentenced this miracle in the room. We found a place for decent dinners.
The hotel was chosen long and carefully. The main criteria are not expensive, but at the same time good comfortable conditions, convenient location, and close to the beach. I booked one hotel Puding Holiday World 3 *, and as a result, the hotel managed to change its name and now it is Melissa.
Its new owners are the owners of the famous Turkish hotel Long Beach Resort Hotel & Spa5 * & Harmony5 * (these are two hotels on a common territory). They only bought it, but here are some points of the Turkish service already on the face. The rooms themselves are cozy, clean (there are moments, for example, in the form of a shower curtain, which I wanted to remove and throw away . . ). and everything else is great. A balcony with a dryer, an air conditioner that is not aimed at the bed and therefore can be turned on all the time, there is a TV, it works, but we turned it on once, checked that it worked and that's it. small refrigerator. Safe is free in the room. Large comfortable bed. Cleaning is great! There is an instantaneous water heater in the shower, and you yourself regulate the degree of heating of the water, which is very comfortable. Excellent wi-fi in the rooms and throughout its territory (we watched movies, it didn’t slow down ! ! ) There is no deposit upon check-in, which is also excellent. Swimming pool, well, we didn’t get to it .... we didn’t go to swim in the pool.
The hotel itself is in a very convenient location. Right on the corner of Femelimarket! You can pay by card without restrictions. For example, in 7/11 card payment from 300 baht. Immediately there is a store with all sorts of creams, latex pillows (I accidentally saw them, bought them for 900 baht, in other places they sell the same ones from 1000 and more). These two stores have absolutely everything for life and for yourself and for gifts, and at the same time the prices are excellent. Massage! They did it right there, on the territory of the hotel for 300 baht - everything is very clean, comfortable, high quality - the girls know their stuff ! ! Food! We had breakfast at the cafe on site. As it goes for the morning, the main thing is that it was cooked to order and served hot. If you didn’t have enough, then on the way to the beach or in the same family market, you can buy everything you like so as not to be hungry. Right across the street from the hotel there is a little green house that opens at 5pm and is always crowded! This is family sea food!
this is a seafood cafe, at great prices, verified! The choice, as elsewhere, is limited - 2, maximum 3 types of fish, two types of shells, squid, shrimp, crabs. All this is quickly prepared and, if desired, can be taken away, which we did every evening. And in the room they organized a family feast in comfort, silence.

During the day we ate in two places - if you stand facing the green cafe with seafood, then to the left immediately across the road, there will be a Tai Tai food cafe. Excellent food, normal prices. If at the exit from the hotel, without crossing the road, walk to the left, well, about 100-150 meters there will be the Kitchen cafe. Also well prepared, very friendly hosts. In no case do I recommend eating (of course, except for breakfasts, which are included, you can’t get anywhere) in a cafe where breakfasts are held ! ! ! it's still the same tin.
They have few visitors, and it may turn out that you have chosen a dish, but there are no ingredients for it and the chef runs to buy them... they can sit for a long time waiting for food. And what they bring is not tasty. The same padtai is a national dish, everyone cooks it and everything is OK, but here, well, there is a problem with this. It was here, upon arrival, out of ignorance, . after sitting for more than an hour waiting for food, having tried the order brought, they put in a hundred and 20 baht for their labors and went to the green house across the road, as they saw that there were just darkness of people and they ordered dinner there for the entire period of their stay in Tae. In the morning, we woke up and visited the breakfast, we went to the beach. On the way, we went into an open shop where they bought fruit (we were peeled and cut mango, papaya, pineapple, etc. , which our hearts wanted), they also took everything else there. Go to the beach is not even far away, and in the process of surveying the area, we found an interesting detail.
Along the entire coast on the first line is a huge hotel Club Med. It is surrounded by a fence, but its length is about 90% of the entire Kata beach. And if your hotel is located behind it, then in order to get to the beach, you need to bypass this hotel on the right or left... When I chose a hotel to stay, not knowing this moment, then passing these hotels (we often walked in those parts ) I estimated the distance of the hike to the beach .... Although, if you look at the map, it seems that here it is the beach, very close... they crossed the road... but no .... you will also need to get around this hotel . So here I guessed with the choice, maybe Melissa is at the beginning of the beach. The beach itself. I concluded that I had chosen the right period of rest. October is still too many cloudy days, but in November the sea is already excellent with comfortable waves and there is enough sun. It rained a couple of times, but it did not interfere with our rest at all. But the closer to December, the more and more people on Katya and other beaches.
In the morning we were on the beach until 11-12 o’clock and left, and by this time the beach had already turned into an anthill with Chinese and Russians (they are the majority there), in general, there will be darkness during the season, which does not contribute to a comfortable stay. In general, we had a great rest, except for the surprise of Anex and his air carrier Azura on the way back... Just before departure, I discovered that the return flight was also postponed from 16:00 to 13:30 .... not very happy, but what to do. In the morning we managed to run to the beach, swim, have breakfast and at 8-40 we were taken from the hotel. Upon arrival at the airport, we checked in and waited for our flight. Here it is, our plane is outside the window, so everything should be ok, we decided naively. It was approaching 13 o'clock, but there was no landing, 13-30, but there was no landing... To the question of what was happening, the answer was technical reasons, here it is (the plane) now we will decide everything, another 15-20 minutes ..... but neither after 20 minutes nor after an hour there is no landing ...

Looking closer, we saw that our things and containers with everything else were under the plane, and all this was not loaded onto the plane. Cause? Later it became clear that there is no payment for fuel and maintenance and, accordingly, no one does anything .... every two hours, a transfer was announced for 2 hours... we were given water, then fed ..... time went by in the evening, and to sleep then where? Our tourists are hot people, we had to call the police, because the Azura representative did not want to come out to us and the airport employees, pretty Thai girls, took the whole blow. They helped as best they could - distributed the Internet over the limit (usually you enter your passport number and you have Internet for 2 hours, maybe you don’t need more under standard conditions, but we ended up sitting a lot more ...) In general, at 21 an hour in 15 minutes we were all raked together, put on a plane and sent ..... Through refueling in Tbilisi ....

In general, they flew for about 14-15 hours, they stood in Tbilisi for refueling for a little more than an hour, of course they didn’t let anyone out of the plane .... everyone’s priests were tired, but what to do. We arrived in Boryspil at 6 a. m. local time.... But we arrived and it pleases. What and how will be further in this direction .... I’m already deep .... my conclusion is that we fly regularly, as before (Dubai Fly, Qatari Airways). I will add more points on the plane itself - I have never seen such narrow seats anywhere before. Well, okay, I’m thin + my husband is the same, two guys were sitting next to us, this is where there are 4 chairs together in the center .... so we were sitting priest to priest, leg to leg... and there were those who were in the process the flight went to sit to the emergency passages, wrapped in a blanket and jackets, as it is not easy to sit in such a number of hours in such a layout. The man from behind stretched out his legs under my chair, having previously undressed . . I didn’t immediately understand where the “pleasant” smell of socks that had not been changed for a long time was coming from ...
When they were handing out food, the husband lifted the seat, because the man behind, being the owner of a small belly (this is really the standard for a man in our area, no more, there were most of these men on the plane), he could not lay out a table ..... on a plane with such there are only 4 toilets in the amount of people .... and to get there, you need to stand... those are right to calculate the time, yes, have time to keep your need in the income process before your turn... No guys, I won’t subscribe to this extreme anymore , even if it will be very profitable and kind of convenient.
PS We had a great rest, we flew home safe and sound, the children are delighted with gifts to disgrace. Another tick in the personal list : )
