I want to note right away that all Marina hotels are in high-tech style. For an amateur.
This hotel is clean, everything is renovated, made in the same theme.
There are shops and agencies near the hotel. 5 minutes walk to Karon beach. There are no Russian speaking staff at the hotel.
The territory is small - one solid pool. I feel like it's tight. And noisy.
The rooms are great, everything is thought out, comfortable.
The size of the deluxe room is 58 sq. m.
The room has a beach mat (so cute).
There is no mini club. There is a playground. There is a gym.
Wi-fi is free throughout the territory.
Water, chocolate, beer, bp juices every day.
Recomend for everybody.
I chose for a long time according to reviews both Karon Beach and the hotel.
The hotel left a pleasant impression. One minus - a good audibility of sounds from the corridor (why people are yelling there in the morning like in a forest, it is not clear).
We ordered a Deluxe Pool View room, and settled in it in 5-10 minutes on the 4th floor. Card from the room in one copy. Large bed, LCD, bathtub and shower with a curtain (gel and shampoo were replenished), a good mini-bar (it freezes 5+, not like in Turkey), a balcony. The air conditioner worked well.
Free daily 1 beer, 1 juice, 1 cola in the minibar. Tea and coffee are also included.
Ants walk on the balcony, but we didn’t call them to the room, they didn’t come))
The reception is always smiling and can help, communicated in English. By the way, near the reception in glass vases, multi-colored soft toys were swapped daily ))
Breakfast is always rice, scrambled eggs, ham, buns, fruit. Fine.
Cleaning and change of towels (beach too) arranged, leaving paper money.
The elevator worked flawlessly. Wi-fi, free throughout the hotel, the quality depends on the location of the router.
For hotel guests 10% discount at the Mail Sea Food restaurant near the lake. Expensive restaurant anyway.
We had a check out at 5 am, so we gave a coupon for breakfast in the evening. To which we were offered a lunch box. There is nothing special there, but it's nice)
FOR THOSE WHO ARE FIRST TIME IN PHUKET/THAILAND
I repelled in many respects from this map (updated a couple more places).

Everything is close to the hotel due to its good location. Several supermarkets nearby, a little further 7eleven (I liked more) and Family Mart.
Be sure to walk up the street towards the mountains. See everything for yourself. You will see the temple, on the territory of which on Thursdays and Sundays (maybe + another day) there is a market. You can buy normal T-shirts for 100 baht. Pleased Lacoste, 200 rubles each. With the inscription Made in France))
Lunch and dinner all the time in different places. Everything is delicious. Then Tom Yum was specially ate spicy)
On the road parallel to the beach, you will reach the clothing market. It is better to visit after dark, otherwise you will find yourself in a sauna under a canopy.
I really liked Karon Beach, the sand whistles / creaks if you stomp / snort hard on it. In the sea, very small fish in the evenings jump out of the water in flocks, for which they were nicknamed "dolphins" by us =))
Even at home, I decided not to rent a bike, but to take a car, because I had no experience. But on the spot, he changed his mind and took the bike (as it turned out, not in vain). There is a very good place to learn on your own without traffic (between the lake and the beach). In no case do I urge everyone without experience to sit on a bike. But if you feel the strength and have driving skills, you will not regret it. The main thing is not to drive, and everything will be ok.
Well, look for rentals that do not need a passport, but take a deposit ($ 100). Without advertising, we found it in our own hotel, albeit a little more expensive.
After that, they began to explore the island. We traveled almost the entire southern part.
Were at observation points (view point on local maps). Indescribable beauty. We visited various temples. Without this, our holiday would not have been complete. On the way to Big Budda (if you are on a bike) you can stop by a bird show (very fun) and ride elephants (a little higher).
Of all the beaches, Karon was my favorite. We went snorkeling with different fish at the stones in the southern part of Karon, I advise everyone (marked on the map next to the Karon Beach Resort & Spa 4 *).
ATMs and exchangers at every turn (up the road to the mountains I found a better rate). When withdrawing from an ATM, the commission is -150 baht.
Latex pillows were taken nearby 4 times cheaper than at the representative offices of factories that bring tourists. All these funny legends about fakes are for the especially impressionable))
There is nothing in Patong for which it would be worth going there, even on a bike, even on a tuk-tuk. If you decide, then bargain up to 300 baht. But we must say not Patong (400 baht), but JungCeylon shopping.
The JungCeylon shopping center was not particularly impressed (but cheap soft toys, TVs).
In Phuket Airport Duty, all prices are in baht. Martini-390/liter, Baileys-700/liter.
I would like to return again to Phuket and Thailand. I recommend the hotel to everyone.
But, if you ride a bike, you can find it not so close to the beach, but cheaper. And it's a pleasure to ride a bike)) Have a good rest everyone!
