We rested in bungalows, both times, I can only tell you about them, the rooms are quite large, about 40 sq. m, the room has everything you need, incl. bathrobes and slippers, as well as an umbrella. There is a kettle in the room and tea, coffee, cream bags and two bottles of free water are provided every day. Bed linen and towels are changed every day. Very good breakfast, great selection of food.
The hotel is located 5-7 minutes walk from Patong Beach (left from the hotel). On the way to the beach, look where you will have lunch and dinner today.
Take a car and drive around the area - we rented a lot of things from Orange car phuket, you can book directly on the net
I didn’t really like the hotel spa (I have something to compare with), a little expensive, but stylish enough.
I highly recommend visiting this hotel, especially for those who are in Phuket for the first time.

I did not want to leave the territory in this horror. patong beach is terrible, shallow, dirty, but the pool in the hotels is gorgeous. In general, I had a pleasant impression of the hotel and not very pleasant from Thailand

The hotel exceeded all our expectations. Very cozy, in the morning the singing of birds did not annoy at all, on the contrary, it was very pleasant to wake up with the thought that you were on vacation and now you would go to the sea, while your countrymen were wrapping themselves in fur coats. Cleaning was done well, absolutely unobtrusive service and at the same time, when we had any problems, they were solved instantly. Due to the very short time we managed to take only 2 excursions. One was taken by our men - big fishing in the Andaman Sea, and the second to Tachai Island. Fishing did not cause any special emotions, but I can say one thing about the islands - paradise! We took an excursion to Marusya Travel. A very good tour operator and prices are lower than in the "Moscow Tour" by 200 baht. And even in Moscow-tour they could not book this excursion, arguing that in the near future all the tours there were sold out and very persistently offered to go to the Semilane Islands. After 2 pavilions in Marusya-tour, everything was found, immediately and cheaper. So I recommend. Now about the tour - at 6-30 a bus was waiting for us at the reception, in a minibus we drove to the pier for 1.5 hours, then we were fed breakfast, given pills for motion sickness, asked to take off and leave all our shoes on the pier, and so we swam barefoot to Tachay . 1.5 hours on a speed boat, a little tiring, but not hot and with a breeze. Those who wish were given masks, fins and life jackets to snorkel. The beauty is extraordinary, you forget about the time, absolutely fascinated by the sea world. Absolutely unusual fish, corals, sponges - this whole world is not on channel 12, but with your own eyes - is this not a miracle! A buffet was served on the island at 12 o'clock, then free time. We walked along the path to the jungle, saw a chicken crab, they say that sometimes iguanas and monitor lizards come out, but they didn’t come to us. The sand is absolutely white and very fine and soft, like flour. The water is absolutely clear, amazing color, all shades of blue. The uninhabited island is a national reserve, its name is translated as virgin. They just came back shocked. Guide Lena, who accompanied us, a very attentive and pleasant girl, helped in everything. On the pier, before sailing, they discreetly shoot on camera, and upon arrival they offer plates with your portrait for 160 baht. So make nice faces to look good. The beaches changed every day, they wanted to find the best one. Most of all I liked Karon Beach and Paradise Beach. Interestingly, all the beaches have completely different sand. I want to say more about the massage. A real Thai massage is done on the island near the waterfall of the large pool. Go - you won't regret it. We did it on Karon Beach, we just stroked it for 400 baht, on the street in a massage parlor for 250 baht we didn’t like it at all. And at the waterfall they managed to do it 5 times in 6 days and were simply delighted with the technique and professionalism.

Our impressions from a trip to Thailand to the island of Phuket. 1. We rested in Thailand for 2 weeks in the second half of March. In fact, it turned out not so scary. … More ▾ Our impressions from a trip to Thailand to the island of Phuket.

1. We rested in Thailand for 2 weeks in the second half of March. A direct flight from St. Petersburg to the airport of Phuket Island took 10 hours. It was expected (family of three, child 11 years old) that the flight would be more tiring. In fact, it turned out not so scary.
2. Hotel DuangJitt. A very large area. Drowning in greenery. There are three swimming pools on site. During the rest, not everyone finds all three pools. Good service. Not intrusive. Near the pool you can eat normally at the same prices as in the city. The most expensive is alcohol. A bottle of beer 0.5 costs 190 baht (1 baht = 1 ruble). Lunch per person from soup and the second will cost about 400 baht (rubles). Keep in mind that the portions are large. In the heat (lunch) we had enough 1.5 servings per person. No more climb.
3. For us, people who are not used to noisy companies, the Thai specifics of the city of Phuket quickly got tired. I wanted peace and solitude.
Although it is worth noting that during walks, locals are not very intrusive in offering their services (taxi - tuk tuks (cars without windows and doors, cost more than a regular taxi), shops, massages, excursions, etc. ).
4. City beach three minutes walk from the hotel. There are few people. There are sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. One sunbed costs 100 baht (rubles). The sand on the beach is very fine and light. Gets stuck everywhere. Locals constantly walk along the beach and offer various services (massage, pedicure), food and goods. The beach has all the standard entertainment: scooter, banana, parachute. We rode a scooter. 30 min - 1500 baht.
5. Of the minor shortcomings in the room, only a little noisy operation of the air conditioner can be noted (it interferes with sleep). I really liked the service staff. Always with a smile and very polite.
6. Went to a transvestite show.
(700 baht - adult, 500 baht - child under 12)
Very colorful and well costumed show.
And the choreography, on the contrary, is very weak. I can’t even believe that the “women” are not real, but converted from men (about 30 people). They perform dance numbers to popular world hits and hits from various countries (China, Japan, Egypt, Brazil, Europe, America). Russia was represented by the song of the group "Viagra" - "The best friends of girls are diamonds. " Most of all in the show I liked the artist - a loner who performed humorous numbers (it was clear that this was not a transvestite, but a normal man, disguised as a woman). After the concert, the whole show group of transvestites waited for the audience at the exit from the hall for taking pictures with those who wished. A photo with one transvestite costs 150 baht. A photo with three will cost 450 Baht, etc. In general, the show is not bad, you can watch it, but the second time it doesn’t pull.
7. Now excursions.
You should not take excursions from the promoted tour operators "Pegas Turistik" and "Tez Tour".
The prices are overpriced by 2-3 times, and the service is the same, as they hire the same Thais in the main tourist places (elephant riding, rafting, etc. ).

Sightseeing tour.
(Included for free on any tour)
During the tour they visit a snake farm, a Buddhist temple, a latex factory, an observation deck. The most tiring part of this tour was visiting the salon of the largest jewelry manufacturer in Thailand - Gems.
Separately, it should be said about the latex factory. During a visit to the factory, representatives from Russia very well and clearly demonstrate the advantages of latex products. Many visitors have a desire to buy something for a healthy lifestyle (most often they buy pillows). The price of an average pillow is 2500 Baht (This is with a discount. Without a discount - 3800 Baht). Mattress - 2.000 Baht.
Later, from other representatives of the Russian community in Thailand, we learned that this business was organized by our compatriots and only our tourists were taken to the factory. For foreigners, such shows are not held, because for such money they will never buy these things. The prices are three or four times higher. There is only one manufacturer of latex products in Thailand and it is located on the mainland. All the rest are resellers - intermediaries. The selling price for an average pillow from the manufacturer is 750 Baht. The red price for such a pillow in Thailand is 1500 Baht. Some are confused by the fact that if you buy in other stores on the island, the quality of the product may be worse. But the technology for the production of latex products is such that if something is added there (foam rubber, etc. ), then this only complicates the process and makes it more expensive. That is, it is not profitable to do this.
Therefore, the quality of latex products in Thailand in various stores is equally good, and the greed of our individual representatives is indecently large.
By the way, in Thailand they are very afraid of losing their face and strictly observe the necessary rules to prevent this (you can’t express dissatisfaction and irritation in public, you can’t publicly show feelings between a man and a woman, and much more). Loss of face may be one of the reasons (besides religious and socio-economic) when young men deliberately undergo sex reassignment surgery.
It is a pity that our moral values have absolutely no meaning for individual immigrants from Russia.

Khao Lak National Reserve.
(1500 baht per adult and 1200 per child under 12)
The tour includes: a rubber and fruit plantation, a Buddhist temple in the rock with a reclining Buddha in front of the entrance, in which there are a lot of monkeys, rafting on bamboo rafts (an easy walk along a small calm river, 2-3 people on each raft, each raft is managed by a local Thai ), riding elephants in the national park (each elephant is driven by its driver on horseback or next to him throughout the entire route. Interesting entertainment, worth a try, but for some reason you feel sorry for the elephants), visiting a turtle farm and a monument to the 2004 tsunami. The tour includes lunch. We liked. Diverse and exciting.

James Bond Island
(1500 - adult, 1100 - child under 12)
The tour is so called because it includes a visit to the island, which is somewhat reminiscent of the landscape from the movie Avatar, where one of the Bond films "Golden Gun" was filmed. The landscapes are very beautiful. We took many great photos.
In addition to Bond Island, other islands in the vicinity and the village of sea gypsies on stilts are also visited. The tour includes lunch. Worth the trip. The tour is not tiring and leaves a lot of positive impressions. We liked.

Similan Islands
(2200 - adult, 1600 - child))
The Similan Islands are a protected area where sea turtles lay their eggs. Landscapes - a real Bounty from the picture. Located at a distance of 70 km. from mainland Thailand to the Andaman Sea. We were weary of the journey there and back. One way you need to go 2 hours by macro bus from the hotel (depending on the location of the hotel) and then 1.5 hours by speedboat. The program includes swimming near various islands (there are 9 in total). Landing is allowed only on 2 islands. While swimming, they swam 2 times next to sea turtles (very large), they are absolutely not afraid of people and swim calmly among them. It is forbidden to touch them.
The tour includes lunch. On one of the islands they offer accommodation in tents. We didn’t dare, because it’s a bit extreme (at night, pythons, monitor lizards, flying foxes (a kind of bats) and many other living creatures begin an active life on the island. In general, the landscapes are beautiful, but the road is tiring.

You go out on the balcony in the morning to smoke, and all around is exotic and greenery under the window, mountains are visible in the distance, birds chirp. It feels like you are entering a hotel room, which is built in paradise. The hotel does not have an ALL INCLUSIVE program. And it's even good. Because this makes it possible not to stay too long in a hotel, but to walk around the city, sit in different cafes, dine in Thai cafes with Thai menus (one TOM YAM soup is worth something). By the way, in Vietnam and Moscow I also bought TOM YAM, but this is not at all the same. Especially Moscow g//no. European menus can also be found on the streets of Patong. Beef and pork chops in mushroom creamy sauce are sooooo good. We alternated Thai cuisine with European. Sea in Patong for C grade. Regular gray. But this is Patong. We took a tuk tuk to Karon for turquoise water and big waves. It turned out that our hotel is one of the best in Phuket and swam on a gorgeous beach. Well, to get a really great delight from the beauty of the Andaman Sea, you definitely need to go to Krabi, Pi-pi and Semilan. Swim with a mask during stops in the reefs. Consider that Patong is just a place to spend the night (deployment). But let's move on to the hotel. Moreover, here you need to leave reviews about the hotel, and not about your vacation in Phuket. Number compared to Cyprus, Turkey and Vietnam was just awesome. The main advantage is separate shower and toilet compartments. The room was always cleaned on time. Always clean. The laundry works very well (after the ATVs they returned the whiteness to brown and mud-stained clothes). The floor in the room was beautifully tiled. More of an advantage than a disadvantage. You come from the street, and cool ceramics under your feet. It's nice as hell))). The hotel pools are just amazing. Especially large winding with islands in the center of the pool and with a bar in the water! He swam up, freshened up with a beer or something else and continued to swim. To be honest, I have never seen such sizes at the pools anywhere else. Due to the large size, there are no crowds in the pool. Everyone is distributed along the perimeter and it seems that there are only 10-15 people on the territory. BUT! It must be considered sacrilege to swim in the pools when you are relaxing in Phuket. This is not Turkey or Egypt. This is not a hotel stay. Here you get all the impressions from excursions! My unforgettable vacation was made up of the following excursions: 1. General free sightseeing tour of Phuket (shops, markets, temples) 2. Quad bikes in the national park (2 hours in the Jungle), 3. Safari: elephant riding (2 hours in the jungle), rafting on a mountain river (45 minutes), swimming in a waterfall (15 minutes); 4. Phi Phi Islands; 5. National park Krabi; 6. Million Fish Island and Pearl Paradise (with a huge lunch on the shore of the island among palm trees and peacocks). Well, who wants to learn more about the hotel, about Phuket, about Excursions, about how it all looks in reality, then follow the link to my youtube page and watch a high-quality video report about the trip: http://www.youtube.com/watch? v=g3b-zu1wGww

Good: the hotel is excellent in terms of territory, service, food, pool. Were in 5 stars in Egypt and China - Thai is not inferior in quality and beauty. I really liked the hotel itself, we believe that this is the most beautiful and high-quality hotel in Patong Bay, because others have seen it, they cannot be compared with Duanjit. Considering that Patong Beach is not the best in Phuket, you will have to choose - a cool hotel, evening parties and trips to other beaches for 400 baht (the baht is approximately equal to the ruble) or a good beach and another hotel nearby, but a quiet bay without evening programs. The pools in Douanjit are amazing, this is what bribed us in the end when choosing a hotel, our hopes were justified. Delicious breakfasts, daily cleaning, great landscape. Everything is aimed at rest, there are many beautiful corners. Convenient location - in the active bay of Patong, but without screams, music and fuss. There are many exchange offices nearby, an inexpensive family suite shop (beer, cola, creams, sausages, etc. ), the beach is a 10-minute walk. The service is generally good, we recommend the hotel. Bad: When checking in and out, we didn’t get the service at all, given that we are very disciplined and not capricious over trifles. On the hotel website, we booked the Family Suite on our own, the hotel took an advance payment. When checking in, it turned out that 4 people in one room do not accommodate (which was not a word on the site) - the rules of the hotel. We were forced (! ) in the literal sense (taking into account the fact that an advance payment of 15 thousand rubles had already been removed from the card) to take 2 double rooms and pay another 18 thousand rubles. This was extremely frustrating, given the limited vacation budget. When checking in, the managers refused to describe the scheme of the newly calculated payment (by day - because in March there were some prices, from April 1 - others) and the time of stay, they did not warn about the check-out time, as a result, on the last day, two hours are very tedious and ugly kicked us out of the room. Explanations that the husband and children will return in 1.5 hours and we will certainly move out - did not inspire anyone, the staff called the room every 10 minutes and literally kicked out. After an hour of bickering, when the shift attendant joined in, they managed to persuade us to give us the opportunity to pack our bags in half an hour. As a result, before the time of departure to the airport, we had to leave our suitcases at the reception and just sour in the pool for 4 hours in order to wait out the heat somewhere. With two kids!! ! For the first time we encountered such an attitude - given that we paid the hotel for 2.5 weeks about 100.000 baht - no loyalty and courtesy. This greatly spoiled the impression of the hotel. About Patong Bay. The bay is interesting, active, seething with life and events. There are cafes and restaurants on every square. The mass of tourists, the anthill is simple. Lots of transport. Advertising cars with Thai bucks are constantly driving around, buzzing, making noise, inviting. The beach is not very clean, especially at low tide - algae and debris are nailed, swimming is unpleasant. A lot of jet skis, parachutes, quite noisy. Twice our water area was wrapped by local fishermen with a net, they did not react to comments that we were swimming here. Lots of boats, boats, active marine life in full stock. On the beach, annoying sellers of local souvenirs. The beach is municipal, a sunbed costs 100 baht. If you need calmness and a "bounty" beach - it's by taxi or tuk-tuk for 200 baht and 10 minutes drive - Karon and Kata beaches. The difference is like heaven and earth. The water is blue and clear, you can see the fish. The sand is white and crunchy under your fingers. Peace and quiet. And on the beach, almost all Russians. About Phuket. The island is spoiled by tourists, prices are quite expensive, sellers and taxi drivers are a bit impudent. Meals - a very modest dinner for 4 cost us 1000-1500 baht (second, cola, beer and EVERYTHING! ). The local food is interesting, but by the end of the holiday we found the Russian restaurant Tropikoza and ate borscht with dumplings. Commodity prices are insanely high compared to Bangkok and low compared to Russia. Sandals, swimwear, glasses, sundresses, souvenirs - within 200-300 baht you can bargain. Initially, the seller calls the price 1500 baht, in total he sells for 200. But if he bargains evilly and aggressively, he is not inferior. That's why smiles work wonders. Our excursions: One day we persuaded a taxi driver to drive all day long - they gave him 600 baht for the whole day. We visited at the same time: a zoo with three shows (crocodiles, elephants and monkeys), a butterfly plantation, an orchid garden, Vacha Long monastery (free of charge, very beautiful), Big Buddha - a statue on a high mountain, an aquarium. Gone all day, but interesting. We bought a speedboat ticket to the James Bond Islands - we liked it very much. The landscapes are amazing. At least once, but you need to go to the islands. We bought a trip to a Thai village - we rode a canoe, on elephants, watched Thai boxing and national fun with monkeys and elephants. And bought diving in the Similan Islands. Diving is the most expensive of all these pleasures, two days cost 14 tr. Communication - you need to buy a local SIM card DTAC and Happy tariff - the cost of calls to Russia is 4 baht per minute. If burned - in every store there are green tubes of Aloe Vera cream - it helps a lot. We recommend going to Rawai Beach - from 4 to 7 pm, local fishermen sell their catch there, and across the road it is cooked very tasty, everything is inexpensive. For comparison - in a Phuket restaurant, king prawns cost 150-300 baht 100 grams, and there the same prices per kilogram! and 120 baht for cooking in a cafe. In general, the rest is very colorful and impressive. Taking into account the prices for food, excursions and taxis, these expenses amounted to 2/3 of the cost of the flight and hotel. Conclusion - Phuket is an interesting, but quite expensive vacation. Good luck to all vacationers! Ready to answer questions while fresh impressions.
