Before the trip, I searched the Internet for reviews about this hotel and found nothing, except for the mean descriptions of the tour operator. Of course, tour operators exaggerate in their descriptions about each hotel and you should not trust their words. Let's go at your own risk. Indeed, the hotel was new.
So, in order:
1. Appearance. Cheerful lilac hotel, both outside and in the rooms. 3 buildings on 3-4 floors. We lived on the third floor, sometimes I got tired of going up to the floor, there are no elevators. The exit to the roof is open, and at night from the roof there is a rather picturesque view. There is a swimming pool, 1.5 meters deep, of normal size. During the holidays, part of the pool is occupied by stage construction workers and "no swimming" signs are officially hung, although this did not stop tourists from different countries. The scene is obtained directly above the pool and occupies approximately 15-20% of its surface. There is a cafe, bar, shop, parking for bikes. Breakfast is served in the cafe, I did not go to the bar. The shop is its own, not chains 7-11 or family mart, the assortment is meager, something ends up - either the whiskey is over, or the vodka is not delivered. In the shop I bought a hat at reasonable prices and postcards.
2. Interior view of the rooms. I have stayed in several rooms of our hotel. In general, 3 * is quite enough. Shower, bathroom, everything. In the bathroom there are shampoo, shower gel and body cream, all this is poured into jugs, so do not steal) but I wanted to. The hotel body cream helped a lot after I got burned. The beds are large and spacious. TV with three Russian channels. Nice balcony. Immediately upon arrival, a Russian flag was attached to the balcony. Cleaning is daily, but on January 1, apparently after a sleepless night, the cleaners knocked on our door and said that they would come tomorrow. The signs asking you to tidy up the room are simply ignored.
3. Staff. The staff speaks average English, although in general, the body and body language has never let me down. In general, good staff, after my arrival, all the hotel staff learned the phrase "Tagiiel! " and now they can greet you with this phrase. There is a good receptionist - Suri, if you go - tell her hello from me! Bigboss walks around the hotel with a gloomy look. Bigboss is Korean and runs this hotel. Phuvaree Ressort and Patong Cottege are the same organization, therefore, for Christmas and New Year, residents of the Patong Cottage hotel were brought to us for dinner.
4. Location. It is located far from the sea, if on foot, then it takes 30-40 minutes to go to Patong Beach, about 40-60 minutes to Bangla Road. During the day, every 40 minutes on the clock (9-40.10-40.11-40, etc. ) there is a free shuttle to Patong Beach, but I got on it only 1 time. Part of the road from the hotel to the sea does not have a pedestrian sidewalk (about a kilometer), you have to go either along the road or along the side of the road, and also past a smelly garbage dump. on the way 4-5 shops seven-eleven and Famaly Mart (for whiskey, if anything, go not far), one minute walk from the hotel is Simon-cabaret - a very decent transgender show.
5. Breakfast. The food is European, very decent, everything is delicious, there is a lot of everything. Rice, spiced rice, sausage, bacon, watermelon, papaya, vegetables, tea, coffee, 3 kinds of juice, toast, scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs, etc. My concept was to cause maximum damage to the establishment, so I ate 4-5 plates of food for breakfast.
6. Holidays. On holidays, all hotel employees, including even cleaners, are activated and prepare a celebration. They give out fireworks, pipes, Santa Claus's paper hat, a very decent salute, the New Year's table surprised with a variety of food - meat, crabs, desserts, rolls, etc. Alcohol is paid. Bring with you.
7. Seeing guests 700 rubles / day.
8. Total: in principle, I was very pleased with this hotel, I have no comments.
P. S. If so, ask questions, I'll be happy to answer.
