palm trees, a wonderful clean beach with azure water. Every day we went to
massage and ate local fruits. On the advice of Elena, we took 2 excursions:
one-day Simalina Islands (loved it very much, it's a natural
analogue of the Maldives) and 2-day "5 islands". We saw the place where we filmed
Film with DiCaprio Beach and Islands James Bond. Thailand really liked.

In Natalie Tours, the nice girl manager Oksana picked up some good options for us, but we decided that the best of them is the Kamala Beach Hotel & Resort in Phuket, three stars with a plus sign. Now, having returned to Moscow, I am sure that this is not just a good, but a very good option for those who do not fly by private airbuses. )))
Firstly, we immediately liked that the hotel is located at some distance from Patong, more than ten kilometers. We are not bigots, but we are not fans of transvestite dances and other highly cultured pornography, so we didn’t want all this “beauty” to constantly catch our eye. In addition, the hotel is not too far from the airport, otherwise it happened to us somehow to drive a couple of hundred kilometers in the heat, very tiring. The hotel has a pleasant green area, a luxurious beach with a very convenient entry into the water, the staff regularly cleans everything. The building itself and the interior are in good condition, everything has been renovated, the infrastructure has been functioning properly for two weeks, I didn’t have to break off from my rest to negotiate with a plumber or electrician.
I liked Thai cuisine - we ate not only in the hotel, but also in different establishments. Fish, huge shrimp, different types of noodles - you will lick your fingers. I have already tried to cook fried noodles with seafood a couple of times at home, since we bought oyster sauce and seasonings before departure, although, of course, this is not quite the same with frozen marine reptiles.
But, of course, fruits made a special impression on us - rambutans, mangoes, dragon fruit, lychees, mangosteens, and all this not only at dinner on a plate, but also on the farm right from the branch. But the famous miracle fruit durian somehow did not work. )))

They are greeted warmly and calmly. Thais - like children - in the bulk. It is very pleasant to communicate with them. After Moscow's gloomy faces, it seems that you are in paradise. Palm trees, white sand, gentle ocean, unbearably bright sun - creates a complete feeling of unreality. And although the hotel is 3 stars, it did not bother us at all.
In the evening in the garden - an artificially dug reservoir - Thai frogs make such rolls in it, you sit on the terrace... with a bottle... and meditate : ))) There are many Germans, British, Americans. We ate on a breakfast basis. And there is nothing else there!!!
The beaches there are private - for a sunbed for the whole day you pay with our money - 60 rubles. They give you a peeled fresh pineapple - and then they blow off dust particles all day long, rearrange umbrellas, brush off sand from a sunbed. The hotel is like in a village (by our standards) - there is only one street - a bunch of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. - the area is very picturesque, and especially in the evenings.
You can eat anywhere. In the afternoon we ate at Fanny's cafe on the beach. Dined with her too. Everything is terribly cheap. Lunch for two with our money - 150 - 200 rubles, and dinner - for 300 rubles 4 courses and you crawl out like Winnie the Pooh : )). Well, if more abruptly - with beer, king prawns and lobster (divine dish), then for 20 dollars. All the food either just floated, or hung on a tree, or from the garden : )) - Thai cuisine is very tasty. Just beware of the word - spicy. do not order spicy : )) you will be a fire-breathing dragon.
The only thing is that you need to go there for at least 15 days, but better - for a month . . There are a lot of housing in the district - decent - that are rented at ridiculous prices - for example, a huge house with two bedrooms, a living room, and other bells and whistles was rented out for a month for 300 dollars.
The hotel is surrounded by jungle. From the excursions - we took rafting, the Fantasy show, and ourselves went to the island of PI PI _ type to explore. Rafting is just great. Turkey is incomparable. The river is continuous rapids. It is better not to go there with small children . . I advise you to go rafting - wander in the jungle, go to the waterfall - and possibly ride elephants. All excursions are inexpensive.
We ourselves went for a couple of days to the island of Pi Pi. I also advise. (you can rent a bungalow there) you can also take a tour - but you will see beautiful places - you won’t breathe real exotic. We inhaled it to the fullest : )) We swam to Monkey Beach to see the monkeys... They are so funny - we just melted and lost our vigilance - AND THEY SHOULD JUMP! : )) the two of us were bitten : ((don't forget to get vaccinated after that... against rabies and tetanus. The room has a large balcony overlooking the Andaman Sea. There is no beach. Free shuttle to Kamala beach. The beach is clean and not crowded. Sunbeds + umbrella, + table for the day cost 100 baht (rate 40 baht for 1 dollar). I went for a Thai massage and I really enjoyed it. 3 hours and super sensations. It feels like it’s like new : ). Even in the morning it became easy to get up. But you have to go to the medical center, so that the massage would be professional. Otherwise, the bones are crumpled so much that I think it’s not worth risking your health by doing a massage with a non-professional.
We went to the coral island. Beautiful, few people and interesting underwater world. We went on an excursion rafting + elephant ride + swimming in a small waterfall. We had dinner at the naval base. Unusual. The tour is interesting, no regrets.
We also went to the Similian Islands for 2 days with an overnight stay in a bungalow. Fins, masks, vests, drinks on the speedboat - free of charge. Good snorkelling, different islands have different underwater world, it was especially cool on the sandy beach - the fish are all almost white, or with gray stripes - just wonders of disguise : )
At night we went to see crabs. An interesting excursion, though the transfer is long, it's good that we went for 2 days. For one day it would be hard to go there and back.
