To Thailand as a savage? Will it come out cheaper?
I am a citizen of Ukraine. Last year I flew to Thailand from Moscow because it was cheaper than from Kyiv. For 14 nights, it cost 600 euros per person with a flight. This year I would like to fly from Ukraine, organizing a tour for myself. Who has a similar experience? I would like to know where to get tickets, but does it make sense to book a hotel through agoda.ru? How to get from Bangkok to Pattaya? I will be grateful for the answers!

It makes sense to book through agoda and through www.sawadee.com - this is a purely Thai armorer, the prices are very attractive and do not charge the entire amount from the card at once, like agoda. How to get from Suvanapum airport to Pattaya there is an excellent option - on the first floor there is a blue bus service desk, travel to Pattaya (Jomtien) - 109-116 baht. The buses are new, air-conditioned, leather seats and large, as in a good plane.
Aerosvit has tickets for a direct flight, sometimes more expensive, sometimes cheaper.
But, dear Alex, 600 from the face in two weeks is just a BALL! If there is such an offer from the operator - do not even think, you yourself will not organize anything cheaper. For example, we always go to the islands, we don’t sit in one place, it turns out to be much cheaper on our own than with an agency, and if Pattaya is 600, I would love to buy a tour for the sake of an air ticket for such a price, and then according to my program :) ))

Yes, this year I'm looking at prices from Moscow 1600 for two price! But to Moscow, there are still about 450 ye for two for a train journey. And tell me how to get from Pattaya to the islands? From the city pier? And how much does it cost?

Why fly there "savage", if in the "low season" it is quite possible to buy a full-fledged, but "burning" ticket for the price of an air ticket?
=)))))))))))))))

57888, we are not going to those islands that are near Pattaya :)))) We fly to Koh Samui, from there to Tao and Koh Phangan. A flight from Pattaya (U-Tapao Airport) or Bangkok costs about $70 per person one way. Krabi - Bangkok or Phuket - Bangkok costs from $20 (low-cost Air Asia). You can get to the closer Chang and Samet by sea from Rayong or Trat, but we didn’t go that way ourselves.

Traveling in Thailand is simple and inexpensive. But Pachok is right - if you take 600, don’t even think, the cheapest flight with Aerosvit for the Crazy Fridays promotion is $ 400 per person, but tickets to Bangkok have not been offered for several weeks. And all other flights to the islands - airasia.com except Samui you can fly there bangkokair.com (expensive) or or fly air asia to surat thani, and then by bus and ferry.
You can get to Koh Chang from Pattaya by minibus (tickets are available at every corner). 7 hours to go, delivered directly to the island. in any case, everything in Thailand will be cheaper for yourself - both housing and excursions. and the flight, look at the website of the aerosvit.
good luck!

And where can I buy flights to Bangkok (only from Russia) cheaper? We don't have Aerosvit and his Crazy Fridays (

They say that your "Turkmen" are inexpensive to fly, but they are not direct. There is an "Aerosvit" from St. Petersburg with a landing in Kyiv, it turns out cheaper than us from Kyiv :)))

this is necessary so that thoughts converge! I just typed this exact text!

Natik, where are you?

In Rostov-on-Don. If there were options from Krasnodar, Volgograd, well, at least Voronezh. Although some prices are terrible through Moscow) I don’t even know if the idea of flying like a savage is such a good idea, I’ll soon break my eyes to look for tickets on the Internet. I don't know where.. apparently..

We flew from Odessa via Istanbul to Bangkok with Turkish Airlines. We took a taxi to Pottaya, rented a hotel found in advance on the Internet. And no problem. The ticket costs 750 USD. We are also going to fly soon, our prices have not changed. And we will fly from Bangkok to Phuket. No tour operators! Saving from 500 to 1000 USD per person.

there are options to get from Kyiv or Odessa ....? what are the prices?

From Kyiv:
Aerosvit direct from 770 (or from 400 for a promotion),
Aeroflot with a transfer in Moscow from $540,
UIA + Etihad with transfer from Abu Dhabi from 590 dollars,
well, and more expensive and inconvenient:
Finair via Helsinki, KLM via Amsterdam, Air France via Paris, Austrian Airlines via Vienna, Svish via Zurich, Emirates via Dubai etc. For all of these, the price fluctuates around a thousand conditional.
Some comrades somehow manage to catch the rare Uzbek Airlines, once I read one comrade who flew Jordanian Royal Airlines from Kyiv (?).
But the first three are optimal.
