Duty Free prices at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK)
Friends!!! Such a question!!! It concerns Duty Free Sheremetyevo and Duty Free Bangkok Suvarnabhumi. Does it make sense to buy at Sheremetyevo? What are the prices in Thailand compared to Moscow? Will I have problems exporting the same alcohol bought in Russia from Bangkok? (i.e. bought from us, went to Thailand with him and returned with the same). As far as I know, the export of liquid up to 1 liter!
Thanks to all!

Prices at Suvarnaphumi Airport are very moderate, I remember in a big way: 1 liter of Jose Guerva Reposada tequila 800 baht (I recommend).
There are no restrictions on the carriage of alcohol in the Duty Free package.

It’s not too clear why you should carry alcohol with you without drinking it, but stuff it in your suitcase and no problem!

Quote: "why carry"!? I read on one of the forums that in Bangkok alcohol prices are much higher than in Moscow! Therefore, this question is ripe!
Thanks everyone for the replies!

Duty free in Bangkok is one of the most expensive that I have come across during my travels. Perfumes, in general, are non-Orthodox, and alcohol - only if there is some kind of promotion, then you can buy it. There are usually no promotions for blended whiskey, good single malt and other drinks.
You can buy it in Russia, bring it to Thailand, then you can return to Russia, just put it in your suitcase.
There are restrictions on the import of alcohol, and Thailand duty-free you can import up to 1 liter of alcoholic beverages. But here's the catch - if you don't wave the duty-free package, but hide it in a bag or carry-on suitcase, no one, most likely, will look in your direction.
And you probably did not read "one of the forums" very carefully, because in the CITY of Bangkok and the rest of Thailand (not duty free) alcohol is good and cheap, not more expensive than Moscow.

For me, in the BKK, the dutik is a little more expensive than in Moscow, but the choice is a bit richer.

In Bangkok, normal duty free. Why shove from Moscow? You can buy everything there, and besides, there are definitely not "left" drinks there. And their local production is very normal. For example, the Mekong, I don’t remember, like whiskey, costs 370 baht, there is a local rum that costs 1600, but nothing special. In addition, if you still collect Thai cosmetics such as coconut oil, toothpaste, all kinds of hot sauces, very tasty, then there will be no room in your suitcase. And you put cosmetics and local cognac in your suitcase, and you buy all alcohol in duty free. Do not forget the orchids in boxes, they are definitely cheaper than here.

Thank you all very much, keep it in mind :)

Polanskaya - you can see right away, our man! :))
We poured sauces from glass bottles into plastic ones so that there was no excess ...

VAS - offset! :) How many in Tae was and all the time pulled the sauces in the glass. Here's the dunce!!! After all, I could buy sauce for spilling on the top of my head in plastic (given how thermonuclear it is, it will obviously be stored for a long time. Well, why is there no mind for elementary things.
As for bringing alcohol to Tai, it's pointless. Their strong alcohol is inexpensive and tastes decent (the price of 0.5 liters of local brandy "100 peppers" is about 320 baht - about $ 11), there is decent wine (for example, from mangosteen). But in general, in Thailand you need to drink local cocktails and beer with shrimp. Vodka should be drunk at home from frost and with a hot snack :).
kalyugin - have a nice trip.

Comrades! You can not pour from glass to plastic! You can immediately buy in a supermarket in plastic - and the packaging will be larger, and sealed tightly! Canisters, bottles, "mattresses" - for every taste.

Pachok, yes, they also bought in plastic, but something very tasty was met only in glass. And yes, thermonuclear sauces can (in the refrigerator) last for about a year. And it was not possible to store more, they ate :))

Thank you all! Just returned today))) I bought, as well as from us at Sheremetyevo, and VVK. In Bangkok, there is a very small selection of not expensive whiskey!!! how much is it expensive or vice versa.
аватар kalyugin
