I was at the Botany Wich Pattaya Hotel, I can tell you about this hotel

I personally didn’t rest there, but when we were on an excursion, we talked with those who have been going there for three years in a row and they really like it. The main pros and cons are:
1. Far from the center (+: the sea is clean, -: entertainment is far away);
2. A chic pool, it is Olympic standard there and it is a pleasure to swim in it.
Don't worry too much about negative reviews. We also read all sorts of statements (such as a moldy white house, sheets in yellow stains, etc.) and were also nervous before the trip. In fact, everything turned out to be quite good. Read reviews about other hotels in Pattaya and everywhere you will find negative to some extent. It all depends on the degree of your claims. If you are used to relaxing in the luxurious fives of Europe, then, probably, any hotel in Pattaya will be a nightmare for you.

I don't agree with you about any hotel in Pottaya. Apparently you weren't good. Just as good as the good ones in Europe

The hotel with the largest number of rooms in Pattaya is located a 20-minute drive from Pattaya (in the Najomtien district) and Taxi (tuk tuk) to the center is quite expensive (300 baht per person if a taxi or 40 baht per person if on a regular one). It was built a long time ago (in the 90s if I'm not mistaken), but it is maintained in good condition, really huge pools, different buildings with different quality of rooms. the refurbishment of the ocean wing reception seems to have been completed. A great place to relax, for example, with children. Problems faced by tourists: few restaurants (it’s expensive to have lunch or dinner in the hotel, and a couple of restaurants near the hotel, unfortunately, are of very low quality, with a massage from you the same problem, it’s a long way to go to the center .. But if you go to the tropical garden , then you will be picked up almost last and you won’t have to move from hotel to hotel, collecting tourists ... In general, a good hotel, just for the money they ask for it .. Normal service, decent breakfast, fairly clean sea, good beach without annoying traders (!)...many rooms with excellent sea views..
PS Incidentally, the hotel building was originally built as a casino.

We returned from this hotel yesterday. We rested there for 15 days. I go to this hotel for the second time! And if I go again, then I will go to him. The only thing is to take rooms in the Ocean Wing building, they are the best there! We lived on the 11th floor, room 1155 (sea view). The hotel is good, located 10 minutes from Pattaya, but in a secluded place, there is no such traffic as in Pattaya!! 1st line, the sea is super, the pools are great!!! One is huge near the seashore, the other is near another Marina building, the third is for children and the fourth is on the 2nd floor with a jacuzzi. On a white tuk-tuk they paid 20 baht when they reached Big C, then they changed to a blue one (10 baht) and reached Walking Street. There are no problems with transport! There is a market on site where fruit prices are cheaper than in the center and all supermarkets in Pattaya! Our pineapple cost 20 baht, and there 40 and also all the fruits !! Behind the market there is a taxi (the man is always in black clothes), it is easy to bargain with him. Many went on excursions themselves: Non-Nug Park, Mini Siam, Alangkarn, the Temple of Truth, Alkazar, Tiffany and many shopping centers. If you are interested in how to get there, write to me. We went with a guide to the river Kwai, also if you are interested, I will write. If you need to eat, then at the end of the beach there is a cafe.

In it you can eat for two for about 150 baht. Also across the road is a Russian restaurant SMAK and a couple of Russian cafes. Massage on the beach of the hotel costs 250 baht (done with oil), and we went across the road to a massage parlor / at Lily /, it cost 180 baht, but without oil. Anticell massage 500 baht... Personally, I really like the hotel because of its remoteness and there is everything you need nearby. I would love to visit it again!!!!!!!!!!!

hello, tell me please ... we were booked a garden wing building, an ambassador at the hotel, we found out about it a couple of days ago, we just didn’t pay attention, when I read the reviews about it I was shocked !!! is it possible to exchange the buildings ??? and how is this better to do?
аватар saliani
between botani beach and the ambassador there is a hotel Dor Shaada, tours are rarely sold there, but this is the best hotel even compared to European 4 *! (except for EU cuisine, but in Thailand they don’t eat in hotels!) The only negative is a taxi or tuk-tuk to the city, but also an ambassador. More details at [email protected]

In your case, just ask to exchange rooms with a surcharge and accommodation in the Ocean Wing building!
