My advice: dress in layers: a T-shirt, a sweater, a warm jacket (for example, a down jacket), tights, trousers, boots or sneakers are better instead of boots (to take up less space), I usually take flip-flops and shorts in my hand luggage - I change clothes in the airplane toilet (husband takes off only a jacket and a sweater and arrives at the hotel in a T-shirt, jeans and sneakers). All outerwear is easily packed in a bag (for example, which was given to you when buying a fur coat or boots), upon receipt of luggage (if there is room) - a part can be transferred to a suitcase.
