Were in Botany beach and in Ravindra on Jomtien. By the way, there were a lot of people from Ukraine in Botany. The sea is much cleaner than in the city. Came back 2 weeks ago. Very pleased. Yes . security on the beach. Everything is cultural.

In 2009, from the CAM travel agency, I rested at the PATTAYA PARK hotel. Good 3 *, the sea is nearby. A bit of course not in the center, but the clear sea. There are no parties in the hotel. Service is good, food too. I do not advise you to take more than a triple, this is money for a fan, anyway you will only sleep in the hotel. Good luck.

We rested in Pattaya park, we liked it. I wrote a review about the hotel. 4 km from the center of the dirty city is rather + than -.

I also really liked Jomtien, although you have to go to the center, but this has its own charm. But you can catch up on excursions to sit on the beach in the evening with wine and fruit, listen to the sound of the sea in silence, but to each his own, some tourists inapplicably want to live in the center of events, a matter of taste.)))

We were there too, and although not everyone likes this hotel, we liked it, there is a small market on the territory of the hotel, reasonable prices, if you buy fruit before leaving home, tell them that they are on the road, then they will pack large fruits in a soft net so that they do not choke. Across the road in front of the hotel there is a small excursion bureau in some booth they changed money, the rate was $ 1 -30.9 baht, there are cafes and macarons, massage parlors nearby. Tuk tuks go to the city along the same road, the price is 20 baht.
