Koh Chang is my favorite weekend getaway. Samet is not really liked because of the number of tourists, very expensive prices for everything, lack of civilization and very small beaches. My wife agrees with me too. We only go to Koh Chang for ourselves, and to Samet only when we need to take tourists. On Koh Kood it is best to take the Cocoa Lagoon tour, although it is not very popular.

I haven’t been to Koh Kood, so I don’t know, but I liked Koh Chang very clean and beautiful, exotic and civilized at the same time. I did not like Koh Samet, a small, miserable and not at all interesting island.

Koh Chang is a very civilized place compared to Koh Kood. It has supermarkets, ATMs and tuk-tuks. But there is no decent snorkeling and diving on Chang. But the beaches are more diverse and large. Beautiful waterfalls and magnificent nature - both there and there. But the sea on Kude is the cleanest. You will not find this on any major island - Chang, Koh Samui, etc. There are much fewer people on Koh Kud - both locals and visitors. And prices are higher. In the evening, after six o'clock, life on Kuda stops and you can only have fun with "quiet games" (it all depends on your imagination. You can safely drive it from end to end in an hour. But where else will you feel like the owner of the whole island?
