Best of all in large supermarkets TESCO LOTAS or BIG C, but you need to get to them. 7/11 stores are not much more expensive and they are on every corner. I personally drink CHANG beer (640 mg bottle costs 44 baht) and HONG THONG whiskey (700 mg costs 173 baht). Although there are beer and other brands at prices higher and slightly lower, and whiskey of different brands. What anyone likes.

Beer Singha, Tiger, Chang, local Heineken. Near all hotels there are small chain stores "7-11" or "Family mart". Beer costs: 0.3l. - approx. from 31 baht, 0.6 approx. from 42 baht.
In large supermarkets /Lotus, Big C/ cheaper by a few baht per bottle.
Strong alcohol: democratic and quite familiar local whiskey and rum /under license/. I liked whiskey "100 peppers" -240 baht for 0.5 l. The minimum is always on sale in chain stores - (see above). Try to your taste.
In the same chains, they took local mixes and alcoholic drinks.
There is a nice rice wine. Rice beer really took in Cambodia - but I think that if you set a goal, you can find it in Pattaya.
There are serious wines, but the price is already decent! Search in large centers or special alcohol stores. There is a good local mangosteen wine.
Awesome local cocktails: Mai Tai, Special Pattaya, etc. + well-known "Pina calada" and ... I recommend starting "cocktail tours" from the flower bed with a dolphin - at Mr. Cocktail. There cocktails from 99bat.

Very tasty wine Siam Sato (I can spell it wrong): inexpensive, tasty and decently intoxicating. Sold at 7/11 along with beer, usually at the bottom. I think Russ2209 had this in mind when he talked about rice wine.
