We rested in this hotel for the second time, the first time - in August 2009 (bought on the hotel's special offer in the low season). The second time we went already consciously, we knew what to expect. We went as a family - me, husband, children 11 and 16 years old. Since we visited the hotel for the second time, we were put in a chalet (which are more expensive), although we paid the same as the first time for a regular superior on the 5th floor (this was a compliment from the hotel, as was the free dinner in the hotel restaurant). We really liked the chalet, the whole house was at our disposal, there was a grove in front of the windows, there was a separate pool, but we mostly went to the main one, near the main building. The chalet has a very large bathroom combined with a bathroom, of course, but in any case, three times more than in the superior. There are tables and chairs on the terrace in front of the windows - you can sit in the evening and eat fruit. The rooms were cleaned every day, towels changed too. We went to breakfast in the main building. In principle, we were quite satisfied with the breakfasts - the choice of dishes is sufficient, I would like more fruit. There were always watermelons, melons and pineapples. Dishes - both Thai and European. Sometimes, though, I couldn’t even find anything worthwhile among Europeans, but even in this case, I had enough coffee, buns, scrambled eggs and fruit. among Thai dishes there are also not very spicy and tasty, we tried everything little by little. The hotel staff at the reception is impeccable, nothing to complain about. In general, the people are smiling and this contrasts very much with our compatriots.
Did not like the second time the sea at the hotel. I was bitten by a jellyfish somewhere on the 3rd day (although it was after a heavy rain, and the Thais warn that jellyfish approach the shore at this time) and then I was afraid to go into it, I had to swim in the pool or we went to the islands. Taxis near the hotel are of course more expensive, and we were not too lazy to walk 10 minutes to the street (naklua, it seems) to take a regular tuk-tuk. in the evening we got back from the center by taxi - no more than 150 baht.
As a result of the trip, we decided that there was nothing more for us to do in Pattaya, we saw everything we could in two trips, there are still many beautiful places in the world. But we will definitely come back to Thailand!
