Rested with my husband in November 2010 in Pattaya at the GARDEN SEA VIEW RESORT. I’ll start the story from the very beginning, since we are from Ukraine, our flight was from Boryspil, we didn’t take a direct flight, but through Ashgabat, flew to Ashgabat for about 3.5 hours, then sat in the shitty transit hall of Ashgabat for 4 hours and to Bangkok another 6.5 hours. The flight is heavy, but I think it's better than a direct flight. Immediately stocked up in deutik Martini and. . . in Ashgabat, a bummer came out, Matrini was all drunk, and in Ashgabat there is NO dutik. We flew to Bangkok, the meeting party was Grand Orchid Travel, they met everyone well and presented a local SIM card and an orchid necklace. I want to say right away that we almost never used a SIM card, since it was not cheap to call Ukraine, although they told us on the way to the hotel that the calls were almost free. Communication in Tai is cheap, but only local. It took 2 hours to get to our hotel. They settled us right away, we lived in a bungalow and we liked it there more than in the main building, but the safes are at the reception and are not always free. We waited 3 days for the safe. The room is decent - not super, but good, modest, but for that you go out onto the veranda and.....tropics. I’ll say right away for breakfast, you can eat, but it’s monotonous, but this didn’t bother us, since the food there is very cheap, we dined, etc. ourselves in cafes. There are many different cafes nearby and everywhere is just super. As for the excursions, we took 10 excursions, but not from our operator, but when leaving the hotel, walk a little on the right side of the city. Here, the excursions cost us $ 500 cheaper for two than from the operator (I counted on purpose). Oleg even makes discounts. He was our guide on several excursions. Everything was just great. I definitely advise the River Kwai - it's something with something, oh. Samet, mini-siam park, zoo - it's just gigantic, tiffany show. different islands, even nearby ones, because in Pattaya itself the sea is dirty and it is not algae that float, but household waste, etc. If you are very interested, write to E-mai, I will tell you everything in detail and even coordinate the prices. By the way, the hotel has its own beach, which is very rare in Pattaya, the view is very beautiful, almost on the beach there is a temple of the Holy Truth. The last 2 days were in Bangkok, Prince Palace Hotel. The huge hotel is very beautiful, but the impressions are: REINFORCED JUNGLE (from Bangkok). We visited the royal palace, the temple of the emerald buda and much more. We had shopping in Pattaya and Bangkok, just a little bit there and there, Something is cheaper in Pattaya, and something in Bangkok, so if you like something, feel free to take it, if you find it cheaper somewhere, then not much. The vacation flew by very quickly, 14 days just flew by, we didn’t have time to see many places, but I think I’ll return to Taya also to this hotel. Everything was great. We have been to many countries but Thailand cannot be compared with anything. We'll definitely be back.
