People, if you are not pensioners and are going to Thailand to hang out and have fun, and not sit under a flower bush by the pool, then this is the best option in terms of price-quality ratio. I agree that he doesn’t have any territory near the hotel, but... believe me, we have never even swum in one of the two pools, we just don’t have time, we bought excursions for the whole vacation on the very first day and went somewhere in a day . So the territory in Thailand is not a fundamental point for choosing a hotel. Bought a regular superior. We got room 1508. View from this room to the pool and the sea. Fifth floor. Room cleaning every day. In the room: TV with three Russian channels, refrigerator, minibar, electronic safe, slates, hair dryer. Every day they change snow-white bed linen and towels, shower caps, soap, shampoo, ear sticks and even disposable toothbrushes with paste. The location of the hotel is wonderful - next to the busiest intersection with dolphins, and every evening we went out to a different street for a walk. To do this, it was not necessary to go by tuk-tuk to the intersection, then change. And before this intersection (if you're really too lazy) the hotel carries a free tuk-tuk, and also picks up from there around the clock. It takes 2 minutes to get to the dolphins and 5 minutes on foot. Other hotels do not have such a service with a free tuk-tuk. A trifle - but it's nice when you return home tired at 2 am, you don't have to stomp along the dark alleys from the main street. And yet... since the hotel is a little deeper from the intersection, the hum and noise of nightlife does not interfere with rest.
The beach is also 5 minutes walk. There is no beach of its own, but if you reach the sea, turn right, and walk along the coast for another 2 minutes, you will come to a very decent and clean beach. Sunbeds there cost 50 baht. Clean, in Pattaya, the concept is relative, since swimming, of course, you have to go to the islands. It takes about 40 minutes to get there by ferry from the pier, it costs 40 baht per person. On the beach, be sure to try fried fish, and shrimp (magically cooked) they are carried to the beach by a Thai and sells for 100 baht. When we tasted it, it was already time to go home. Do not be afraid to buy and eat, everything is very tasty and fresh. No poisoning was recorded in Tai.
The bed deserves a special place in the description. It's just a royal bed. Very comfortable and wide. At first, we were surprised that she rides all over the room, it’s worth touching her, we laughed that at night we will ride from wall to wall, but it turns out that she has stopars on wheels, her husband figured out the design, fixed it, and this is no longer an inconvenience delivered. Our friends from other hotels complained that the bed was not comfortable and that they didn't clean it every day. We had no problems with this. 2 stars in the hotel most likely because it does not have its own dining room and territory. But in the dining room we went to the nearby Best Western. This is the second building owned by the same owner. The pool can also be used from this hotel, the territory of these hotels is one. The rooms are also absolutely identical.

There is a restaurant on the roof of the neighboring Best Western, from which a beautiful view of the city and the Gulf of Thailand opens in the evening.
They take a deposit upon arrival of 500 baht, then it will be returned, and there are no problems with beach towels. They also take a deposit of 300 baht for a towel for them, and they return the money without any problems. We took towels on the first day, in the evenings they were simply exchanged for clean ones, so as not to bother with the deposit, and upon departure, the towels were already returned and the money was given to us.
We liked absolutely everything. Next year we will definitely go to the same hotel.
