This hotel has a very good beach (I write in such a way that it is clear, but in fact the beach is public and you can be on the beach of any hotel, you pay only for sunbeds and umbrellas, if necessary). On our beach there were people who rented villas, houses, etc., communicated - it’s really cheaper, especially since the food - breakfast is very mediocre everywhere and you can safely do without it. None of the hotels have a territory as such, but if you want to take a walk or sit in a restaurant of any of the hotels, then you can do it freely. I recommend eating at least at first in chain restaurants at supermarkets (for example, Japanese Fuji, American Black Canyon, etc.). Then look around, figure out what is yours and what is not. In principle, Lamai is cheaper than Chaweng in everything, but Chaweng has more entertainment. And you can book hotels through Agoba or Booking.

Every Sunday, a part of the main street on Lamai is closed off and turns into an improvised market, where you can cook and sell the whole range of locally colorful food, right down to fried insects, in front of you.
