We rested on Chang in May, no living creatures flew / swam. We were at the Ko-Chang Kacha Resort & Spa. Highly recommend. Excellent value for money.
I also liked the White Sand Beach Resort. It is located on the edge of White Sand Beach and it seems that there is no one around. You are on a narrow strip of beach between the sea and mountains. But it's worth the 10 min. along the beach and close to all the entertainment establishments. Actually there is no pool.
