Short trip to Europe on March 8
A few days ago I returned from the new tour of Accord "Six Days to Rest".
Our departure was a debut, so I was ready for possible overlays on the tour. But thanks to our group leader Natalia Lozova, and our drivers Pan Bogdan and Pan Roman, the tour was organized and fun.
Our group was huge: 47 tourists of different ages and with different travel experiences, so Natalia had a hard time keeping up with the tour schedule. But her organizational skills and charisma helped to overcome difficulties with some tourists.
During the whole tour, we received so much interesting and new information about three countries: Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Austria, that even I listened to her stories with enduring interest. And this is during my third visit to the Czech Republic and the fifth visit to Austria : )
The tour is very short, and I found it quite untiring.
I chose this tour for two reasons: first, I wanted to spend the March 8 holiday in my beloved Prague, and the second, very mercantile one: for this tour there was a real opportunity to get the Slovak multischengen.
Both tasks were completed with five plus : ))).
I met the day of March 8 on Hradcany Square in Prague, where, together with the people of Prague, I took part in the inauguration of the President of the Czech Republic : )))
That's how lucky I was on this tour : ). The ceremony was beautiful and solemn, and I watched it with great pleasure for two hours.
Well, the second task was also solved no less successfully, the Slovak multi-Schengen appeared in my passport for five years : )
There were also cozy Bratislava and luxurious imperial Vienna on this tour. The weather pleased us in every city. The temperature during the day fluctuated around +10 degrees, and it was dry.
Of the electives, I took only an evening boat on the Vltava in Prague. I have already been to all other places, so I walked for two days according to my program.
In Prague, I visited the Church of Mary in front of Tyn, the Strahov Monastery and Prague's Loreta with a treasury.
In Bratislava I was only on a survey, and I liked the city, so cozy, compact, but with its special dignity and charm.
Well, in Vienna, I had a visit to the Butterfly House planned, and I also completed this event with great pleasure : ) Agree that it is very unusual to get from winter to a tropical garden with colorful butterflies : )
For a hint from our Natalia, I found the Minoritenkirche, inside which I found very interesting frescoes on the walls. The most interesting fresco is "The Last Supper" by an unknown author.
Well, according to the established tradition, lunch at the Rosenberger restaurant with strawberry strudel, Kaiser-melange coffee and another souvenir cup).
We left Vienna at 19 o'clock to the sounds of the Viennese waltz and with a glass of Slovak wine in hand : )
This is again thanks to our leader Natalia, who turned some everyday inconsistencies in a hotel in Bratislava into a bonus in the form of a case of wine for the whole group. : )))
I endured the night crossing much easier than I expected, and at 12-15 we were already in Lviv at the station. Everyone managed to catch the Kyiv train.
Although they say that the first pancake is lumpy, but our tour was not like that.
Everything that I expected from this tour, I got, and even more, since with such a leader as Natasha Lozova, you can go to any debut tour!
