In order to diversify our vacation in Transcarpathia, we decided to visit the Slovak town of Kosice. Getting to it is easy and simple from Uzhgorod - buses run from the main bus station almost every half an hour. Ticket price - about 200 UAH. (6 euros), on the way - 3 hours. The bus arrives at the bus station in the very center of Kosice. The entire historical center is within walking distance. Although the town is small, its central part is very beautiful. In addition, the main center is made a pedestrian zone, without cars and public transport. A wonderful atmosphere, monumental cathedrals and monuments, cozy cafes with reasonable prices - all this is a feature of this Slovak city. It was nice to spend the whole day in this city!
