Hello, I was in Latvia a month ago, and half a year ago - in Sweden. These are separate trips, but it is quite pleasant to combine them. From Riga, take a ferry (book and pay by credit card in advance for seats on the ferry website) and sail to Stokg. It is elementary just not to get lost there, then plan a trip to Uppsala, 70 km. There are many trains and buses from the central station (terminals are nearby). What is there in Uppsala - look in my galleries. If you go back in the summer, I advise you to book an overnight stay in the houses at the water park (it is wonderful and quite large there). If it is not clear - contact me - I will write. Yes, there are many islands... business cards and a parking ticket. I kept one for Oslo (remained as unnecessary). Paid parking zones are always marked. But there are also free ones...
