In Moscow for a minute...
In Moscow for a minute. . .
The idea to go to Moscow came to me a long time ago, only there was no occasion, all the time for various reasons the trip was postponed indefinitely. And finally, this year, a wonderful idea came up to fly to my Moscow girlfriend for the weekend, and celebrate my birthday, and look at Moscow with one eye,
So, for a minute, of course, it is worth flying to Moscow by plane. It was convenient for me to stay near my Moscow friends in Podolsk, which is located 20 km from the Moscow Ring Road, so the airport chose Vnukovo as the most convenient in terms of location and ticket prices.
The airport is small and hard to get lost. Taxi to Podolsk costs 1000 rubles.
Podolsk itself seemed to me a fairly large city by Ukrainian standards. Prices are average, a taxi around the city is 100-150 rubles, a meal in a middle-class establishment is 350-400 rubles per person.
I stayed at the Pakhra Hotel. The hotel is triple, for all its three stars. However, it costs 750 pe / per day, which by local standards is “very much even nothing”. There are no breakfasts at the hotel, as well as soap. But you can wash your hands with shampoo, and it's warm in the room : ) In general, spending the night for very picky tourists will be fine : )
Moscow. Unfortunately, the weather during the days of my trip (October 8-10) did not indulge, so it was not possible to fully walk around Moscow. Nevertheless, I used the first sunny day to ride on the Moscow metro to the Timiryazevskaya station, and from there on the Moscow surface - the monorail that goes from the Timiryazevskaya station to Sergei Eisenstein Street, along the way you can make very beautiful shots. If you get off at the TV tower station, you can go straight to the Ostankino TV tower, where my route lay. In order to get to Ostankino, you must register on the site in advance, because. a group of 40 people goes once an hour, and those who wish, who come without an appointment and hope for an excursion, expect entry in a live queue after registration of all participants. An excursion to the tower costs 800 rubles, which includes an ascent to a closed observation deck at a height of 337 floors and a brief excursion into history. By the way, after the well-known fire in 2000, the tower was closed for as much as 10 years. And now - again please. There is a very delicate place on the observation deck with a glass floor. It tickles the nerves!
The next day, my friends and I ran along Red Square, Arbat and went to Poklonnaya Hill. To be honest, I was expecting to see something more grandiose : ) New Arbat didn’t impress me at all, but I was pleasantly pleased with the old one - we went to eat at an institution that keeps the spirit of our Soviet past - the Zhiguli restaurant. The tables there are exceptionally long, instead of chairs there are benches. Traditional windows with windows, plastic trays, gloomy waitresses in aprons and, of course, self-service. The food is surprisingly tasty, but simple. And the beer is real, “Zhigulevskoye”!
Thanks to my Moscow friends for this CAPITAL weekend!
