Or cryotherapy for the Vorobeychikovs : ))

Help: cryotherapy – cold treatment. . . More read more from Wikipedia. . And most importantly: healthy the person does not experience significant improvements after the procedure. But that's about physical health. Eccentric on the head (like me) very much even experience : ))

We are office workers. Accordingly, 30% of the office plankton were sent to work from home. In fact, no one resisted. In the first "imprisonment" they found a lot of amenities for themselves. The biggest benefit of working remotely is the cost savings. Firstly, financial, payment for public transport, for example, I don’t have gas expenses for my husband...

It's the height of the working day on Novy Arbat. Church of St. Simeon the Stylite, hidden antiquity in the bustle of the metropolis

I don't like New Arbat. We have no energy with him : ). I'm getting tired of him

Then - time. Accordingly, time is not wasted on the road, but how many morning minutes are saved by bringing the face into the image of a princess (the girls will understand me). I rinsed my eyes, put my hair in a ponytail and went to the office in the kitchen. Well, yes, to combine the useful with the useful : )). The bedroom office has been converted into a branch of another Moscow company, and the children's office, fortunately, is now empty for half a day. Yeah, the only workers who leave the walls of the house are our schoolchildren. Survived, parents at home, children at work : )). So, everything is very convenient and good, it seems. But no, the soul and body require walking, we need a change of picture and expansion of the observed boundaries. It used to be, in normal times, as it was: oh, if only there weren’t any cases formed for the weekend, just to sit quietly at home... And now - as a day off, so give me a paddock!

The incomparable mansion of Arseny Morozov on the street. Vozdvizhenka (built in 1895-1899), in the present Reception House of the Government of the Russian Federation. It was built in the image and likeness of the Pena Palace in Sintra. Wonderful miracle, wonderful miracle! We admire it now, but in those days this building was called the "House of the Fool". And not only because of the unusual architecture, but also for the antics of the owner of the mansion. But that's another story : )

And then an idea struck me - and for a long time we were not in the center of Moscow, we should visit the Arbat streets or walk along Zamoskvorechye. No, I don't want to go to Red Square and Tverskaya, it's very busy there.

Turgenevskaya Square

Oh! Why not walk along the Boulevard Ring? ! In general, my thought was this: to completely close the Boulevard Ring. I know that the Ring is not quite a ring. But who is stopping us in our adventures from making it round : )). Moreover, once upon a time it was planned to make it a ring. I will not reprint the history of the formation of this monument of landscape art (it became such in 1978), in Internets everything is there, very detailed and easy to understand readings are scheduled, for example here.

Chistye Prudy metro station. More recently, this entrance was difficult to see among the stalls, shops and trade pavilions

For many years I worked near Tverskoy Boulevard. My husband met me after work, and we often slid along the boulevards, alleys and dead ends. Well, yes, then there were no special worries and troubles in the form of “seven on the benches”, and even after a hard day spent on stilettos, there was still enough strength to walk another five kilometers... on the same stilettos : )).

Chistoprudny Boulevard. Winter? Winter! She exists!

Oh, I haven't been to many places for a "thousand" years. And then there was snow for once in Moscow. There may be very unusual pictures for a modern look. In general, the husband's resistance was broken, a thermos of tea was prepared, and we went...

Outbuilding of the estate of E. P. Kashkin - A. A. Durasova. The estate itself was built in 1792-1794 by the governor of Tobolsk and Perm, E. P. Kashkin. And the wing appeared in 1876 as a result of the restructuring of the estate under the guidance of the architect and restorer A. E. Weber. In 1803, the next owner of the estate was Agrafena Durasova, the wife of M. Z. Durasov, who was a lieutenant general

Actually, the pond, from which the name Chistoprudny Boulevard came from. Previously, there was a slaughterhouse in this area, the waste from which was dumped into the swamps, nicknamed Pogany. Myasnitskaya street is nearby, by the way. This land was bought by Alexander Menshikov, he cleared the swamps and turned out to be a pond, which became Clean. Why is it plural? Presumably, just from old memory, from the plural "Foul Swamps" they began to be called Chistye Prudy

At first, everything seemed to be going well. Yes, it's a bit windy. . . There are so many interesting things and beauties around. Here, the Christmas tree in the apartment did not fit in someone:

Or, here, what a smart house:

The former apartment building of the Trinity Church on Gryazeh. Or "House with animals. " The house was built as a profitable house at the Church of the Holy Trinity on Gryazeh, so some of the apartments were supposed to be transferred for temporary residence to needy parishioners, and the other part to rent

Built in 1908-1909. designed by architect L. Kravetsky and civil engineer P. K. Mikini. Initially, the house was four-story with hipped towers along the edges. In 1945, according to the project of architect B. L. Topaz, the house was built on two more floors

Or, "fabulous" trams:

In the meantime, snow has been added to the wind. Winter decided to show itself in all its glory.

Khokhlovskiy pereulok

Snow covers everything around. Skidded one of the sights of the city. Remarkable both literally and figuratively. If I remember the story correctly, it was planned to build a commercial or office building on this site, it doesn’t matter. But a fragment of the wall of the White City was discovered. The construction was turned off, the whole thing was ennobled so that people could enjoy history. But this place was chosen by all kinds of marginal personalities. It’s very convenient to sit on the steps of the amphitheater for gatherings, and it doesn’t blow. But today the weather is not conducive to libations in the air.

Khokhlovskaya Square

The apartment house of the Medyntsevs "shines" (1881). It remained inhabited until the middle of the last century. Then, as usual, different organizations occupied the squares. And in recent years, it has changed owners again and, it seems, has become profitable again

And we confidently continue our way through the blizzard.

Pokrovsky Boulevard, the youngest of the Ring boulevards. It became full-fledged wide and green only in 1954. The boulevard appeared in the 1820s, but in fact it was a parade ground without any greenery at all

Looking ahead, I warn you that my great plans were not destined to come true, the ring did not close. But nevertheless, we got great pleasure from winter pictures. Anyway, me : )). And husband? Well, he has his own benefit, now he tells everyone about how his wife froze him.

Next boulevard begins < small>Yauzsky. Received its name from the name of the Yauza Gates of the White City, located near the Yauza River

Podkolokolny Lane

Such snow has not been observed in our area for a long time. Not only is the "wind in the mug", but also knee-deep snowdrifts. It's hard to walk, yeah, walk : ). And my husband started to cry. Of course I understand him. And even a little sorry. But when else will we see winter. And not just winter, but WINTER IN MOSCOW.

The Filippovs' mansion and tenement house. This mini-castle traces its history from the one-storey outbuilding of the estate of the 18th-19th centuries. It was rebuilt and rebuilt, changed owners, until at the beginning of the 20th century the family of famous Moscow tea merchants Filippovs acquired the estate. The mansion acquired its final image in 1906 after another alteration to the taste of the owner

The skyscraper on the Kotelnicheskaya embankment barely shows its silhouette through the snow mist.

We need to cross the Bolshoy Ustyinsky Bridge. Oh, how it blew there !!! ! Eh, they also paved the way on the wrong side of the bridge. The lights of Moskvoretskaya and Kremlin embankments are shining there. There, light "glasses of champagne" replicated on all New Year's photos.

Okay, and interesting views from this side:

The confluence of the Yauza and the Moscow River

Modern smartphones are very good. And the photos are quite cute. But damn, they're so soft. They freeze very quickly and... turn off. But I took care of my Korean friend, did not let him freeze: I warmed him with my breath and hugged him with my paws : )) And I did it! Under the piercing wind, she managed to find the place where the High-rise building fit in the frame, without letting the phone "die".

Seeing my "caresses" with the phone, my companion's patience snapped. Jealousy : )). It started about a good owner and a bad dog... no, and a good dog, about bad weather, that someone won’t kick someone out there, and here the wife, you know, walks in such weather, albeit maybe not very good , but not the worst husband. . .

It's warmer in a mask : )

I actually made a terrible mistake. Actually, on this and got burned. I'm all: tea, yes tea... I had to stock up on cognac : )). I tried to fix my mess. But the trick is that there is trouble with shops in the center of Moscow. And even if there is some, then there may not be a strong one there.

When we got to the glittering lights of Pyatnitskaya Street, my comrade launched a more daring offensive, but softly, cunningly, so as not to run into my active rebuff : )). He simply began to put pressure on maternal feelings: he reminded that the children were at home for about two hours... yeah, they probably got bored. It's getting dark, and we have to wrap up already. . .

At Novokuznetskaya metro station

"Adam and Eve" fountain near Novokuznetskaya metro station. Guys, are you cold?

And I gave up. Well, okay, let's go, I say, then to the embankments, I must definitely see the New Year's "Glasses", and that's it.

st. Pyatnitskaya

I think these species need no introduction : ). Here, here they are, my "glasses":

Eh, we're going on the wrong side of the road again. Despite the weekend and "non-flying" weather, car traffic is very dense, it's scary to run across.

But choosing the moment, we did it - ran across in the wrong place. And now - the views are completely different!

Against the background of the dark sky, the entire Kremlin complex looks very large and majestic. No, it's not the same during the day. Beautiful, but not that. The buildings seem to be some kind of magical giants that appear in the dark.

I promised my husband that we would now cross the Bolshoi Kamenny Bridge to the Borovitskaya metro station. And everything, everything, home! Yeah, only the bridge was under repair. This is what I just read that it does not completely overlap. But at that moment we could not figure out how to get through the construction site, fences, wagons. . .

So I had to stomp to the Patriarchal Bridge.

My companion was not just stomping, he was already running as fast as he could : )

On the Patriarch's Bridge

View of the Kremlin from the Patriarchal Bridge

And this is in the opposite direction

Dear readers, I hope you are not cold looking at these pictures? : )

Well, that's it, the final look - and into the warm bowels of the subway!

Church of Christ the Savior from the street. Volkhonki

I swear that during that walk my faithful friend and comrade-in-arms, savior and caretaker for me, and part-time husband, did not suffer!! !

The most interesting thing is that the next day was frosty, but clear weather. Such a classic frosty tale. That's what I've heard in my address : )). Anyway.

A few days after that walk, they pulled me to work in the Arbat area. I was all so chipped, I drew my eyes. And it's snowing outside! Well, bad luck, my beauty will flow. But this is fate, I decided, there is an opportunity to fulfill my plan - to close the Boulevard Ring.

St. Vozdvizhenka

Oh, and again I failed to accomplish my idea, it was the middle of the working day and I urgently had to return to the office-home. Even with remote work, you can’t really run away from work. Let's wait for the next snowfall : ).

P. S. This photo story does not carry any practical load. This is just a statement of the fact that it, winter, exists! And even runs sometimes to Moscow. Now in Moscow, all that attacked from the sky has mostly melted and become leaky and dirty, plus temperatures are overboard...
