Chaika_ru, well, we returned from Kazan today)) The city is very beautiful and clean! Despite the fact that it is, in principle, small, there are a lot of beautiful places there. We had 2 excursions (daytime and evening), however, they did not differ from each other in any way - we were taken around the city and told about all the famous buildings. I would not advise you to take such an excursion, since it is better to see all this beauty by yourself, just walking around Kazan. Of course, the first thing to do is to visit the Kazan Kremlin - a rather large area with its famous Kol Sherif mosque, nearby the Annunciation Cathedral (named after the icon that depicts the moment of the Good News), there is also the residence of the president and much more. It is also worth visiting the temple, which houses the icon of the Kazan Mother of God (I don’t remember the name of the temple itself). We took an evening boat trip along the Volga - very beautiful landscapes, we really liked it !!! We rode for 2 hours, and the time flew by :) The next day we rode catamarans on the Black Boar Lake - it was great in such heat))) In general, there are a lot of beautiful and interesting things there, you will love it!!! :)

No, we did not go to this monastery - we already had a very rich program :) Also, be sure to look at the Palace of Farmers - an insanely beautiful huge building, built recently for a lot of money! Located outside the walls of the Kazan Kremlin - a very beautiful building!
