Creative Boulevard in Cheboksary
On the Day of the City of Cheboksary, Creative Boulevard united more than 70 creative, sports and commercial venues
The Creative Boulevard art project is a unique event within the framework of the City Day. Over the years, this particular project has been gathering more than 100 thousand people on the central streets of the city. On the day of the celebration of the 548th anniversary of Cheboksary, the citizens and guests of the capital were able to fully enjoy the street performance.
More than 70 creative, sports and commercial venues are located along Lenin Avenue and Karl Marx Street. "Creative Boulevard" created an unforgettable feeling of a holiday, every citizen could find something interesting for himself here. The length of the boulevard was more than 3 km.
The guests of honor of the boulevard were the Head of the Chuvash Republic Mikhail Ignatiev, Chairman of the State Council of the Chuvash Republic Valery Filimonov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Leonid Cherkesov, acting head of the city of Cheboksary Nikolay Vladimirov and head of the administration of the city of Cheboksary Aleksey Ladykov.
The Creative Boulevard art project is gaining momentum every year and the project has more and more new friends. This year the guests of the festival were artists from Moscow. Of course, the Tall Brothers & Tall Brothers street theater became the highlight of the project. A team of circus and drama actors presented the play "Stupid Circus" to the people of Cheboksary and guests of the city. This is a stunt, interactive clown show that is wonderful in its simplicity. Juggling, balance on a unicycle, balance on a free-standing ladder, contact clowning and other "deadly numbers" did not leave the guests of the boulevard indifferent.
Another surprise was the defile of the best drummers in Russia, the Vasilev Groov group. The musicians walked along the boulevard, and then performed on Red Square with a large concert program.
The guests of the boulevard have the opportunity to plunge into virtual and augmented reality, see various models of robots, and take part in a master class on developing mobile applications.
In the square near the National Library, a lounge area was prepared for everyone, especially so that guests could read, relax and join such an exciting activity as the Literary Festival, a book exhibition and meetings with writers and poets. The site "Light Volga" was also located here, where they taught to plant pine trees, wield the Kolesov Sword, and take pictures in the ammunition of forest fire service fighters.
One of the most unusual venues is the art project "Modern Chuvash Beauty". The guests of the boulevard had a bright performance from a team of professionals: make-up artists, hairdresser, browist, florist, photographer. This time the boulevard was full of variety of street cafes, where sweets, drinks, fast foods, pies were presented.
Interactive sites with giant board games, face painting, master classes, mini-playgrounds for children, a concert program with contests and gifts, animators, performances by creative teams, a fashion theater, a soap bubble show, a drawing contest on asphalt - this is just a little of what the young Cheboksary residents were passionate about.
Citizens and guests got acquainted with the culture of Ecuador and heard live music of South American Indians.
Fans of folk crafts attended the most interesting workshops, where masters of arts and crafts, fine arts taught how to make unique souvenirs from a wide variety of materials and draw landscapes.
Families were offered an amazing opportunity to take part in the "Cherry Orchard - Families Are Happy" campaign and plant a family tree. Here you could also touch the world of cinema from the inside and try yourself as a film director, cameraman, producer, screenwriter, actor, editing master, sound engineer.
On the Square of the Republic in the park "garden" visitors to the boulevard were waiting for an unusual format of the already familiar family festival "Design - fest". Here you can find the goods of the design market from the best craftsmen of the city, a zone of exciting creative master classes, a food court from a Moscow chef, where you can taste specialties - pilaf, shish kebabs, a vegetarian menu. Throughout the festival, sets from the best DJs of the city sounded. There were also raffles, prizes and many nice gifts.
The entire Republic Square turned into a big youth city - the Summer Cup of KVN Chuvashia took place on the stage, ChSU students showed the best numbers from Studveseny - 2017, a photo booth was installed, competitions and games were held.
The fire department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations invited guests to an exhibition dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. And at the Energy Saving Festival #TogetherBrighter, it was possible to sign a declaration on energy saving.
Outdoor enthusiasts could try their hand at the climbing wall, plunge into the world of dancing at the Dancing City site, play basketball, table tennis, do yoga and health gymnastics.
The platform of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company was especially popular, where it was possible to go live, congratulate the city on its birthday, take part in various contests and flash mobs.
On numerous interactive platforms, creative teams, students, representatives of companies and organizations of the city demonstrated their talents and capabilities. Dance and sports groups performed, poets read poems, presentations by masters of folk arts and crafts were presented.
At the sites along the boulevard, various areas of work of the palaces of creativity, schools of additional education, cultural and leisure institutions of the city were presented.
On City Day, Creative Boulevard once again became a meeting place for talents, emotions and ideas.
