Renovated Cheboksary parks welcome guests
With the beginning of summer, the parks of the city of Cheboksary become a favorite place for recreation of citizens and tourists. Taking into account the experience in organizing such spaces and the wishes of visitors, on behalf of the head of the administration of the city of Cheboksary Alexei Ladykov, the principles of operation of all city parks were revised in the capital of Chuvashia: they met this summer season updated, full of interesting proposals.
Uniform standards for organizing the work of cafes and attractions have been developed for the main city park "Lacreevsky Forest". Rental points for bicycles, rollerblades, children's scooters are open. The leading theme of the design and work of the park's animators is suggested by Lewis Carroll's fairy tales about Alice and her adventures through the Looking Glass and Wonderland. At the entrance, guests are greeted by the famous Cheshire Cat and the White Rabbit, snow-white sculptures of horses and roe deer can be seen in the alleys of the parks, benches stylized as magical birds are comfortably located under the shade of perennial lindens. In one of the zones of the park, anyone can play giant chess with Alice, the Mad Hatter and the Red Queen. The Alice in Wonderland project includes 25 theatrical and competitive game programs and concerts with performances by artists of the original genre, master classes in magic tricks, a festival of sweets, a fire show. For guests of the park, thematic photo zones are decorated, interactive competitive and game programs are held.
In May, the rides "Jung", "Bell" and "Sun" loved by kids were completely reconstructed. The updated Whirlwind opened last week. There were some new products, the residents of the city have already appreciated the amazing Viking attraction.
The appearance of new residents is also impatiently awaited here - 10 Altai squirrels will soon settle in the green expanses of the park.
From now on, the central alley looks completely different: flowerbeds with perennials have been planted, a flower labyrinth has been laid out on the playground, and new asphalt has been laid. As part of the Safe City program, 10 new CCTV cameras have been installed in the park.
For the convenience of visitors, a modern automated payment and access system has been launched. From June 3, visitors can purchase electronic payment cards that give access to 10 city attractions, which completely eliminated queues at the box office and worries about the safety of purchased tickets. Entrance to the park is, of course, free.
The celebration of the 60th anniversary of the park will take a special place among park events. The main celebrations will take place on 26 and 27 August. But citizens can already now enjoy the updated comfortable and safe city park.
One of the most popular innovations in the park named after A. N. Nikolaev is boxwood sculptures. Topiary bears and rabbits fell in love with both adults and young visitors to the park. They are pleasing to the eye, attract attention and serve as an excellent backdrop for photographs. By the City Day, which will be held in August, a grandiose landscape project will be implemented: the designers promise to radically change the floral design of the park. The zoo corner "Ark" invariably attracts the attention of adults and kids. It is home to 20 species of animals - about 150 individuals. Quite recently, a raccoon was born in the park, new breeds of chickens and rabbits have replenished. By the opening of the summer season, a special geo-dome was installed on the territory of the zoo for lectures and master classes. Thanks to the new, interesting design, even rainy weather will not frighten visitors. Soon the contact zone will start working in the Ark.
The approach to organizing festive and entertainment events has been revised in the park. As part of the bus excursion route, which was certified at the end of last year, pupils of the city's kindergartens are already visiting the zoo and participating in free master classes. Here you can also do outdoor recreational gymnastics, learn to draw using non-traditional techniques, embroider and even dance. On the festival site, in good weather, open English lessons are held for everyone.
Since June, the Kinoleto Retro FM project has been implemented in the park. Throughout the summer, every Saturday you can watch your favorite films from Mosfilm for free. Film screenings start at 21:00.
