With the onset of the summer season, there are more tourists in Moscow. And the townspeople themselves are not averse to admiring the prettier capital. Moscow is not just big, but… well, very big! In a short tourist trip, you can’t run around it all, and of course you don’t have to : )). And not from one observation deck, of which there are a great many in the city now, it will not work to see, let alone see. But I want to show you one place where you can see Moscow from a bird's eye view without extreme sports, and in great detail, and, practically, all at once...
This is "Maket of Moscow". Here it is - Moscow - if not all, but the most interesting

And VDNKh is a separate attraction. It's good now there, it's beautiful. . .
Guests of the capital tend to go there, almost without fail. Many residents take walks at every opportunity
And you will deviate from the standard route along the fountains, turn away from the central alleys.
The layout began to be created in 2012, in 2017 it moved to this pavilion. Here is the central part of the city within the Garden Ring on a scale of 1:400, the layout area is currently 368 square meters. m.
It is planned that in 2020 the Maket will move again (but the pavilion has not been built yet), as it will more than double in area (up to 945 sq. m), and will already cover the Third Transport Ring. It seems like it is supposed to go a little beyond the TTK, perhaps they will show the Ostankino tower someday. And if it is, then the height of the tower layout will be 1.35 m.

- Wow, - the son muttered, looking up at his sister (he is a little shorter) and imagining her among these little boxes. — And if it falls…
Well, the layout and the layout are toy houses and cars...

These are not uploaded photos, the picture is projected onto the screen using video cameras installed above the Layout canvas.
And that's not all. There is a central control panel (oh, I found out about this late... ), where you can make the backlight at your discretion: individual buildings, "rings" or radial streets,
arrange "day" or "night".

P. S. Of course, a visit to the "Model of Moscow" pavilion will by no means replace seeing the real beauties and panoramas of the capital. But, quite, it will give a general idea of the location of the main attractions, of the scale of the city. And it just diversifies the walk along the beautiful alleys of VDNKh : )
