Outdoor fitness equipment was installed by the pool, new good flooring was laid to the beach. There are more sun loungers on the beach, there is enough for everyone, even for strangers (although they should not be in theory). But this year has not been without bad news. Firstly, in a family boarding house where fathers / mothers / their children come, they brought in a large number of groups of teenagers with educators and organized a sports camp with all the benefits of vacationers. And now imagine this uncontrollable horde in the pool, where vacationers swim and these "beauties" are launched by forty people at a time !! ! Everyone else can just stand like a pillar in the water, because you won’t be able to swim. As soon as the hydromassage is turned on, the crazy screaming crowd is already there. There is simply no place for moms / dads / grandmothers. In the evening at the disco the same story. Who came up with the idea to turn the beautiful boarding house Niko into a children's camp is simply not clear. For these purposes, there are organized sports recreation bases. Now about the dining room: this year, the portions of the first one were very noticeably cut, literally a ladleful per person, in past years one could even count on an addition. One solid chicken in all its manifestations (boiled, stewed, baked, chicken liver, etc. ) Beef and pork are very rare. The staff (waiters) are little trained, that's how lucky you are. There were sensible nimble girls, but our "sluggish infirmity" could never remember and do anything, she was constantly stupid. It is clear that the staff is seasonally hired and cheap, but everything has its own facets. The boarding house has always boasted of its silence, the fact that it is located at a distance from other holiday homes. Forget it, it's already in the past. Nearby (fence to fence) they built a "wonderful" recreation center "Barguzin", where a super-animator worked. This guy yelled into the microphone day and night and night. It was heard like in Turkey on the other side of the sea. Well done, conscientiously worked out his salary. The only salvation is the good soundproofing in Niko's rooms and thanks for that. But I would like not to sit in the rooms, but to breathe the sea air. The fact that the sea bloomed constantly is certainly not a complaint against the administration of the boarding house. Such is the peculiarity of the coast of Anapa - dense green algae, you swim "like in soup". If in past years there was a sandy spit a couple of tens of meters away, to which a child could swim and it was clean. Then this year the spit went into the sea and had to be content with this greenery. Whether we will visit this place again is doubtful. What a pity, it was a good boarding house!

Food - tolerable (milk porridge, borscht, chicken soups, boneless white fish), despite the presence of dishes unsuitable for children (daily salads with mayonnaise, Korean carrots with vinegar, eggplant soaked in vinegar or zucchini with mayonnaise, pork - daily, often pork or chicken with mushrooms). The fact is that at the end of our building, on the territory of the boarding house, there is a small purification facility, the workers of which open their purification activities at night and in the morning. The smell of faeces starts at 22 and intensifies by 5 in the morning.
2. The smell of burning. Almost every day, behind the administrative building, with the permission of the director, all the garbage of the boarding house (including plastic) is burned. The place where garbage is burned is clearly visible from our building. Vacationers photographed garbage dumps, always smoking (less in the evening, stronger at night). The process of burning garbage is led by a safety engineer, with whom I talked, complaining about the terrible treatment of vacationers. The engineer explained to me that he controls the burning of garbage, focusing on the direction of the wind. Unfortunately, he was always wrong and we and our children had to breathe smoke almost daily (from evening to morning).
Sleep became impossible. This stink caused bitterness in the mouth and pain in the stomach for many vacationers, like from poisonous paint, allergies, respiratory diseases that came to be treated became aggravated. My child groaned and woke up from this stench, pulled the blanket over his nose so as not to breathe in what the “caring administration” of the Niko boarding house gives us. From the first days, it seemed that this was some kind of mistake by the workers (sometimes something burned out, the wrong hatch opened). Well, it can’t be that they waited - they waited for vacationers and so poisoned us for our money! As time passed, the stench continued. Against the background of this stench, an allergy appeared - rhinitis, cough. From chronic lack of sleep, I understood the pressure. And from dirt, my child and I had intestinal infections (with a temperature of 39, vomiting and diarrhea). I repeatedly complained to the administrator about the stink, asked to transfer our complaint to the director. Unfortunately, there was no feedback. The director is not on site and there are other boarding houses or hotels under his leadership. A week later I wanted to take the money and look for another place. But I was waiting for this boarding house. Booked a room in January. And, you are Valeria, they chose the best room in this building for me - and the sea and the estuary can be seen from it. But no one warns that on this side there is a stench from the sewer (and the house is fetid under the windows) and from the burning garbage heap. And all this every day.

Cons: a huge minus is the food, CHICKEN it was everywhere in my opinion, and every day... I'm serious, do you want a piece of boiled chicken for breakfast? And you have to... the child ate almost nothing, he left the dining room half-starved, due to his age it is difficult for him to chew meat, even now he doesn’t really like it, but then... for lunch and dinner there was also something with chicken, salad or cutlet , it's terrible... I thought that soon I would start clucking and laying eggs))) portions are not large, but due to the fact that my husband and I ate what the child did not eat, we were full. The people at the next table, also with a small child, said they took a slow cooker with them to cook for the child. I don't know, for the money, I was expecting a more adequate menu.
Pools: they are cleaned, everything around is washed every day, this is a plus. Cons: a huge minus is the food, CHICKEN it was everywhere in my opinion, and every day... I'm serious, do you want a piece of boiled chicken for breakfast? And you have to... the child ate almost nothing, he left the dining room half-starved, due to his age it is difficult for him to chew meat, even now he doesn’t really like it, but then... for lunch and dinner there was also something with chicken, salad or cutlet , it's terrible... I thought that soon I would start clucking and laying eggs))) portions are not large, but due to the fact that my husband and I ate what the child did not eat, we were full. The people at the next table, also with a small child, said they took a slow cooker with them to cook for the child. I don't know, for the money, I was expecting a more adequate menu.

We had a junior suite in building 3, climb the stairs that go across the street, a bunch of ants that sometimes even go into the rooms (it’s better not to bring food into the rooms so that they don’t get into the room).

Good boarding house We were lucky to visit the NIKO boarding house in June 2016. We ordered a transfer, so we were met directly from the car and taken to the boarding house. Placed, told everything, handed over the keys to the room. We took the standard. Quite a nice room, all appliances and furniture in the room are new, everything is clean and tidy.

We were lucky to visit the NIKO boarding house in June 2016. We ordered a transfer, so we were met directly from the car and taken to the boarding house. Placed, told everything, handed over the keys to the room. We took the standard. Quite a nice room, all appliances and furniture in the room are new, everything is clean and tidy. The dining room is good too. Clean tables, dishes, cutlery. There are no complaints about food either.
The sea is close, a special path goes to it. The boarding house has its own cafe, 3 swimming pools, a sports ground, a small stage, a billiard room. There is a counter where they offer excursions, the choice is large.
We were lucky with the weather, at the beginning of summer it was not very hot, the temperature was pleasant and comfortable, there was practically no rain.
The hostel is good, worth the trip.
