Hello dear experts! I (my wife, child and grandmother) want to go to my mother-in-law in Germany in my car in the summer, but through a travel agency, since I live far from Kyiv. None of the participants of the trip was abroad. My wife is on maternity leave, and I am not officially employed. When I came to the travel agency, they painted everything for me with almost no possible future problems: come in early June, bring documents, make a deposit, wait 8-14 days for a response. Is everything so simple in reality? Can my wife and I, without a child, make a tourist trip to Poland before that, even without a car? There are no tricks on my part: to my mother-in-law, then to Paris with her family and back home. Desired time of stay in Germany: two weeks. Thank you in advance!

Don't scare me with clean passports, people travel everywhere with them. It's better not to get fooled by a visa by invitation.
You need to ask for a tourist visa, preferably to the city where your mother-in-law is. The route of the trip should be worked out, if by car, then the accommodation places are booked (and these are hotels and campsites). There should be a bank account with enough money, money on a credit card .
We were on a trip with a friend's pregnant wife, everything is fine. But ...
