You may need to consider moving your vacation early or changing your vacation country. Greece is a fairly large country with a bunch of islands and beaches, and yet the high season almost everywhere ends by mid-September. After that, hotel prices drop sharply as the weather becomes quite unpredictable. If you're lucky, then at the beginning of October you can grab a few days at some resorts with temperatures under 30, and the water can be 23-24. But all this is more like an exception.
