Outlets in hotels in China, in the vast majority of cases, are installed in a universal format. These sockets accept European, American and Australian plugs (any plugs will work).
The PRC officially uses a single-phase power supply with a nominal voltage of 220 volts and a frequency of 50 Hz. However, some US-friendly hotels install 110 or 125-volt American outlets in their rooms.
