Hello, I'm flying to Turkey, and indeed, for the first time. Please tell me who knows how much you can buy goods in Duty Free, so that they let you on the plane. I understand that it will have to be carried in hand luggage? How are hand luggage checked before boarding the plane and upon arrival, both in Boryspil and in Antalya? For example, if I buy several bottles of alcohol in Duty Free, this will be included in the allowed weight of hand luggage, i.e. 7 kg. Thanks in advance for your reply.

I don’t know how it is in Boryspil, but there shouldn’t be any problems due to several bottles (unless, of course, you are going to stock up there with a box). Alcohol purchased in a dutik is not subject to the liquid allowance, as well as the weight of hand luggage, i.e. you can safely take your legal kg (in general, no one weighs hand luggage) + packages from duty free. By quantity, you can 1 liter of strong and 2 liters of weak alcohol. Farther...
They wrote a lot that if you fly in transit through Paris to Punta Cana, at the airport everything bought in duty free not in Paris will be taken away. I realized that this applies to liquids over 100 ml (perfume, alcohol, etc.), but what about other purchases, cosmetics such as powders, shadows, lipsticks ..etc, sweets, etc. are not liquid? Will they take absolutely everything or just liquids? Thank you.

This applies to any transit zone. If you made purchases in the country of departure, but fly in transit through a second country, then there, regardless of whether the containers with liquids are packed in special duty free bags or not, they will take you away. This only applies to liquids. Therefore, make purchases of alcohol, spirits at an intermediate airport. Farther...

What is the best way to pay in our Duty Free in EUR or in rubles?

I go to dutik at least twice a month, so I tried it, I didn’t find anything surprising. When you buy a product with a price of 10 euros for a euro, you will pay exactly 10 euros, and not a cent more. If the same product is bought for rubles, its price in rubles will be determined not by multiplying these 10 euros by the exchange rate of the Central Bank, and not even by the euro selling rate by commercial banks, but always a little more, by 5 percent. Now about cards. Cash euros or bank cards ... Farther...
