Correction, a guide is NOT needed, 20 pounds is very decent money for shopping, if you shop in Primark (I read it like this - Primark). By the way, the hotel is VERY big. In terms of breakfast - poor: muesli, milk, bun, jam, toast, tea, coffee, juice, milk. AND QUEUE. And NOISE. It is not clear why - the constant noise of some kind of hood outside the window. Tightly closed windows do NOT help. And the rest - a great location near the Russell Square metro station. Before shopping - the 7th bus and you are 10 minutes to Oxford Street. On foot you can reach the British Museum in 6-8 minutes. You need a guide for 20 pounds, take a ... Farther...
