After the trip, I answer myself: tips in a taxi -10%, in restaurants -10-15%, they are immediately included in the check. The maids are left in different ways, American friends advised to put $ 5 on the last day and that's it. Farther...

If they clean it, they will usually be happy to tip. But you look at the cleaning - if it's normal, leave it, but if you just take out the garbage and you don't need a tip. This is a voluntary matter. Farther...

You can leave nothing at all, first see how they are removed. Usually they leave money, 1-2 leva. If you want to give a chocolate bar, it’s better to hand it in, otherwise they won’t understand. For some reason, it’s also customary to pay guides after the tour, this is unusual for us. We usually give 5 leva for two at the exit. Bulgarians are very surprised that this is not customary in our country. And, here, in a restaurant it is customary for us, but they simply round up to the whole leva and ... Farther...
To what extent is it worth paying extra at the reception to get a good room with a sea view? And how much do you need to leave a tip in the room, so that the towels would be beautifully folded, cleaned better and smiled? :)

We gave in this hotel 20 dollars for a room with a sea view and a dollar for cleaning. But then they left with difficulty: they didn’t want to let us out until we paid $ 80 for the allegedly broken door by us. We did not break it, it was like this before moving in. They could not prove their innocence, since the bus had already arrived for us and the guide could not wait for our clarifications. But upon arrival, we immediately wrote a complaint to our travel agency. The travel agency turned to t ... Farther...

Hello! I would like to know about tips, as we are going to Turkey with my husband for the first time. Is it necessary to give money? - upon check-in, so that there is a normal room (in the reviews, many write that they did not give it and everything was OK); - for daily cleaning of the room (acquaintances left every day, but someone's hair and a cigarette butt near the bed lay until the end of the holiday); - bartenders, waiters, minibus drivers, etc. In general, to WHOM and HOW MUCH to tip, so as not to spoil your vacation? Thank you all in advance!

We were in Turkey last year. At first, they didn’t know what to give to whom. Now I can advise you: - upon check-in, it is desirable to give 10 c.u. - the number will be much better than the one that you will be offered initially. Still, don’t say anything, but it’s more pleasant to wake up in a room overlooking not a Turkish trash can, but a beach or a pool; -we did not leave for cleaning, although sometimes you can 1 c.u. leave, they will make you a flower or a swan out of towels; - bartend ...
