We do not take a deposit (until the tourists were deceived), although in general it is necessary to take it in the amount for which there will be a fine if the tourist refuses to pay for this tour later. This amount is different for each tour operator and is then spelled out in the contract (already mentioned above). After confirming the tour, we print out the booking confirmation from the tour operator's website and give it to the tourist. This is in case you cannot pick up the documents at the agency and will pick them up at the airport 2 hours before departure.
If the courier is run over by a tram and he does not bring your documents to the airport, then according to this confirmation you can check in for the flight and then check into a hotel. Then we look at the rate of c.u. on the website of the tour operator and in hryvnias, we take the payment from the tourist for the tour, after which we issue a receipt, an agreement and all supporting information documents.

I will only note that it is not always possible to make a reservation in front of you, since you can often wait a day for confirmation of this reservation. You will not wait at the monitor when everything is confirmed. But a printout from the site after confirmation is already an important document.
One more thing. I sometimes witness how some agencies issue contracts to tourists, which describe all of the above, without waiting for confirmation of the booking. This is especially true of last-minute departures such as today for tomorrow.
